My husband has been very well cared for at Lydia Eva Court. The staff are very caring and keep him safe and happy. It was recommended to me when he developed Alzheimer's and we had to wait for a vacancy. Well worth the wait. We are always made welcome on visits which give me peace of mind. Thank you

My mother has been a resident at Lydia Eva Court for coming up two years, as you can imagine it was a hard thing to do, but I only have praise for everyone who works there. The managers are fantastic, they have the resident's best interests at heart at all times. The care is incredible from everyone.
The housekeeper lets my mother “help” with domestic chores, and the maintenance man seems to know all residents by name and is so lovely and helpful, as for the care it is second to none, thank you so much for keeping my mum happy and safe.

My husband has just passed away and the care he has had over the last three and half years has been amazing. He was bedbound for most of his stay and never had one bedsore. The care they took of him as he was passing was full of compassion not only for him but me as well. I can't thank them enough,

A lovely home.

The only negative is we keep having to buy new clothes as they go missing.

Mum has been treated with kindness respect and dignity since her arrival in March. She is encouraged to participate in all activities and as a family, we are all always made welcome when visiting. Meals are varied and mum is offered alternatives when appropriate. We have full confidence that mum is

Mum has been a resident for the past three months and has transitioned well into the routine. The home is extremely welcoming and I feel very comfortable visiting any time during the day. The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way, and the management team are always helpful in answering and
following up on any queries or concerns we may have. The activities and caring support in the home are exceptional. Keeping residents busy and engaged. Mum's room is clean and we have been encouraged to make it homely with some of her personal belongings.

A wonderful care home, the building is great the decor is great. The rooms are great. The staff are all superb and all the residents a well looked after and loved.

I have been visiting Lydia Eva Court for three months with my therapy dog. I have always found there to be a warm, welcoming and homely atmosphere. As we walk round the building and lovely gardens, it is clear that the staff I encounter know the residents very well and really do care for them. They
seem really lovely, hardworking and dedicated: amazing people! Residents seem happy and settled and, where appropriate, are pottering around, watching television or doing other activities. I visit residents in their rooms, chaperoned by staff. Many rooms are decorated with photographs, ornaments and personal furniture making them homely, comfortable and giving a really lovely atmosphere. There are always cleaners and maintenance staff around and they are friendly and chatty and keep everywhere spotless. I speak to relatives as I walk around and they seem welcomed and welcoming. The whole experience, for me, is like meeting people in their own homes.

My relative is happy but not encouraged to engage in activities. The staff are kind and friendly but not seen very often. My relative is on their own for much of the day. Bad smell in ensuite - a problem for five years. Medication administered correctly.

My mother-in-law was a resident of this home for two years. Throughout this time, we have been totally satisfied with the care given to her and to us as a family. She had dementia and was always treated with dignity and respect. Her final days were traumatic, as she was put on end of life care. The
staff were magnificent and we felt that they really cared, this was an enormous comfort to us that she was not left alone. Concern was also shown towards the family; we were kept up to date with regular phone calls and on visits, we were asked if we wanted drinks etc. The care received was not just from carers, but from domestics and office staff. I have no hesitation recommending Lydia Eva Court.

My mum went into the Lydia Eva just before Christmas last year and although it was a very stressful time for her and us as a family, all the staff at Lydia Eva were fantastic, helpful and kind, they not only helped support my mum, they helped me and my brother. My mum lived alone for many years and
l as a daughter helped her daily along with my brother, but her living conditions became unsafe and moved to Lydia Eva. Lydia Eva's staff are some of the nicest people l have ever met, they go above and beyond for the residents and it really is like a little community. My mum is safe, the food is amazing and she is always treated with respect and kindness. Thank you for making such a difficult time so very much easier, and would highly recommend this home, thank you.

What can I say, the staff at this facility have changed my father's life, he is so content, eats like a king and is looked after by the wonderful people, he has his dignity back and has started to smile and laugh again, as for the change it has made for me and my mother, there are no words to explain
it. We are not scared of what’s happening anymore and have total trust that my father is getting the care he needs, well done all of you.

What a difference Lydia Eva Court has made to my mother's life. She is very happy and has a smile on her face now and not a worried look. I think all the staff are wonderful in all they do. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

An initial phone call from the home to welcome Mum and find out about her so that everything was ready for her stay. We were told to arrive and leave at any time. Mum was able to have her hair cut while there and was encouraged to join in activities. The staff were more than friendly and helpful. The
room and ensuite were clean, warm and well-furnished. The overall atmosphere of the home was clean, friendly and colourfully decorated. Mum loved the food and being able to decide what she wanted to do and when. Nothing seemed too much trouble with a member of staff staying behind to help us leave the premises.

Since mum has been in your care, she has had excellent care. We have always been informed of any concerns that have arisen over mum's health and well-being. The staff are always cheerful and friendly. We have no complaints whatsoever with mum's care.

Mum was admitted a year ago, and we have nothing but praise for the care and attention mum has received. We have always been kept notified of any problems, infections etc. The staff always have time not only for mum but for us too and would highly recommend Lydia Eva Court to anyone looking for care

Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
