Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
for respite stays.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

It is a very good care home all staff are excellent. Very caring, sometimes overworked due to staff shortage. The food is excellent.

I find the care of my mother outstanding, can't fault any part of her care, diet included. She is very happy and content which means so much to me and my brother. Carers are underpaid in my opinion.

I am so pleased to have my father in Cleves Place the staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble. They always keep me informed how my father is and are quick to react if there is a problem especially as my father has emphysema. The home has a programme of events which they encourage residents
to attend which also helps with their well being. All in all, I am really pleased with Cleves Place and grateful for their care. Always recommend to others.

My mum has advanced dementia she rarely speaks I don't think she knows who I am.
Yesterday when I visited a member of staff was giving her one to one support while she walked endlessly back and forward. He was very gentle, kind and patient. The staff in my mum's area at Cleves Place are all wonderful.
They do all they can to created a homely environment.

The staff at Cleves Place have successfully managed to make a residential home not only feel like a home for the residents but also for their relatives. They treat the residents with care ans compassion and provide an immense amount of support for relatives. Staff successfully ensure that the residents
maintain a good quality of life. The set up of the home has clearly been done with the residents in mind. To be honest I have been greatly impressed by Cleves Place and feel all care homes should be marketed after it.

Overall we are very pleased with Cleves Place, the staff who look after my mum work and try very hard. It is my personal view that only small tweaks would shift the below from good to excellent. Some of the tweaks are not related to my mum's care, it's just an overview. I don't mind having a chat with

My brother had a massive stroke in June 2015 at the age of 52. He came to Cleves Place in September 2015 to reside in the nursing quarters. His care since then has been absolutely excellent. He is always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Everyone always goes the extra mile and understands
the frustrations that come with a stroke especially at the age of 52. My brother has improved immensely with constant care, physio and patience. He is almost standing now and his speech and eating is almost back to normal. This is mainly due to the care and family environment at Cleves Place.

Clare Mooney

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2015

I joined Cleves Place in 2015 as I liked Care UK’s vision and values. The home has a great family atmosphere and we have a fantastic team here who work really well together to deliver the best care and experience for residents.


I love being able to make a difference in a resident’s life. If I can complete my shift knowing a resident has smiled and is happy I feel I have achieved my goal. I also enjoy empowering colleagues to do their best work.


I’ve been working in the care sector for over twenty years and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with new colleagues and watching them grow in confidence in their role.


I also like to keep learning and developing my own skills. One of my biggest professional challenges has been completing my Level 5 Diploma in Management. I’ve also had an article published in a palliative care publication.
