For the Entertainment team I particularly enjoy all the activities, they are very varied with a different one every day.

The team are very hard working and supportive. I enjoy the yoga classes, music events and I am a member of the choir. Presently we are waiting for some chicks to hatch, it's very exciting! Mothers Day was a lovely celebration as was St Patricks Day! Thank you!

Mum spent two weeks in respite care at Woodland View to recover from an illness. We are very impressed with the care and attention that she received. From the first contact with the home through to the assessment carried out in her own home and the friendly welcome that mum received, followed by the most wonderful care, we could not have wished for more. All of the staff are amazing and thanks to them mum made a full recovery and was able to return to her own home in good health and with confidence. The rooms are spotless and well appointed as are the communal areas. We would not hesitate to use this service again

Rosemary has been staying at Barchester Woodland View for two years now. I visit as frequently as can be managed, but from a distance. I have to say that Rosemary has been very settled at WV, and we so pleased to be back after a recent hospital stay! On my visits, I have been most impressed by the friendly atmosphere and the way all of the staff anticipate her needs, and seem to care a lot about doing what is generally a challenging job. Thank you!

My stay at Woodland View was excellent. Everything was just perfect. The food was varied & delicious & catered for all needs. If an item was requested it was provided quickly. The staff were kind, efficient & helpful at all times although extremely busy at times everything was done with a smile. The carers I found to be very professional & always able to assist, some more than others. The grounds & gardens are delightful & a credit to the gardner who works tirelessly looking after them. Management always available if needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my respite care & would recommend it all.

Thanks for all you did for me.

My husband was placed in Woodland view care home after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. This was such a sad and difficult time for our family but made so much easier by the amazing staff and facilities at the home. They were even so welcoming to our little dog who immediately felt right at home. My husband had the best care we could have hoped for, he was relaxed, happy and comfortable, which he had not been in hospital. He had a lovely bright, sunny room which was well decorated and kept clean. The food was delicious and healthy with a good selection each day. On the day we sadly lost him the staff were incredibly kind, supportive and understanding, going above and beyond to meet the needs of our extended family. We could never thank them enough.
