At a very difficult time for the family Baily have gone above and beyond to help us on our journey. What started as a weeks respite turned into a permanent placement which we are over the moon about. My dad gets the care he needs and gets to keep his personality and he is encouraged to get involved into all sorts of activities that he is relishing.

I could not ask for a better setting for my Grandma. The house is beautiful, warm and welcoming. The staff are just wonderful, they treat all the residents like their own family members. The effort they make with residents friends and family is also fantastic. They know us all by name, my children's names and make us feel at home. Care homes can be tough at times, but these staff members go above and beyond!! Thank you for all you do!

It's been just under a month since our dad moved into the care home, and we can honestly say the support we have received has been amazing.
Making the decision that someone you love needs full-time care is one of the hardest things a family can face. Coming to terms with no longer being able to provide the care they need is heartbreaking. But if Dad can't be at home with us, we truly wouldn't want him anywhere else.
From the moment you walk through the door, everyone makes you feel welcome. The front-of-house staff always greet you with a warm smile, and every member of the care team is kind, compassionate and hardworking. It is clear they genuinely care about every resident and go above and beyond to meet individual needs to an exceptionally high standard.
What has stood out most is how every member of staff knows Dad by name. They always stop to say hello or have a chat, and that personal touch means the world to us.

The reassurance we have been given as a family has been invaluable.

Our Mum was a resident at Baily house for nearly 3 years. She enjoyed all the many activities and entertainment provided. The staff / carers constantly seek to engage residents in tasks to help release them from the terrible curse of dementia. Towards the end dementia took her mind and mobility but she was cared for with great respect and dignity by all the Baily House Staff. Our family are very happy we chose Baily House to care for our mother as her dementia progressed. Mum was very safe and happy at Baily House which was a great comfort to our family. Thank you.

My father in law spent the last five months of his life living in Baily House
He was always full of praise for all of the staff
He enjoyed the choice of meals that were provided
We visited many times and always found the atmosphere in the home to be relaxed and caring
The residents always received lots of stimulation from staff and were encouraged to join in with the activities and to enjoy the many party days
My father in law had a comfortable and respectful death and was cared for until the end of his life

I was delighted with his overall care and hope to be fortunate enough to be treated as well at the end of my life

My mum was a resident at Baily House Care Home for five years. During that time, she was treated with the utmost dignity and the carers loved her as their own. They go above and beyond to ensure the residents in their care are happy and well cared for. My mum was always encouraged to be independent but nothing was ever too much trouble. There is a range of activities daily to keep them entertained and stimulated. The management team are very approachable and any problems are sorted out quickly. I can't thank them all enough for their love and support when it was most needed. The home is a happy place and always very welcoming, My mum was always very happy at Baily which was a great comfort to us.

My mother spent the last two years of her life at Baily House Care Home. She was in her 90s and suffering from dementia. She was extremely well looked after and was content and very comfortable enjoying both the company of new friends, the food and the regular activities. The staff were excellent, treating her with kindness and compassion. I would like to thank all the staff at Baily House for looking after her during the last two years and giving the rest of her family peace of mind that she was safe and happy.

Disappointed with the care of my husband during 2 weeks of October 2024. I had high expectations following initial meeting with staff but it didn't follow through. During his time there, he was shaved once, received no haircut despite being there for 3 hairdresser visits and lost most of his personal possessions, including: dressing gown, slipper, toilet bag, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, sponge, two and a half sets of pyjamas, 3 jumpers, 2 shirts and 2 pair of jeans - these are still missing. The tv and shower didn't work and there was little personal care. There was a complete lack of communication and quite frankly I expected better. The reviews I read were really good, so a lot of people are happy and I know my expectations are high but I think that's what we should have with people we love and it's important to trust those looking after them and for the record,I met 3 staff members during the fortnight who did care and for that I'm so grateful. Thank you.

We like Baily House because the atmosphere is good, the carers are friendly and patient. It smells nice, the food is good and the residents seem at ease. The rooms are nice and clean and the corridors are long and spacious so residents who are mobile can have a walk around.

My dad has been in Baily House for the last 3 years. He is very settled and happy. The staff are very caring and thoughtful of residents' needs. Dad treats it as his home, he likes the food and someone always to pop in and have a talk or game of cards. They have lots of entertainment for the residents and they are taken out for meals and shopping.

We had a difficult hospital experience but from the moment the assessment team came to visit at the hospital we as a family began to feel reassured things were going to get better for our mum.
The day before Mum moved in, we had been welcomed to pop in to get her room ready, the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
When Mum moved in, she was welcomed by staff and other residents.
Mum engaged almost from the start of her stay, taking part in the activities. Both she and the family were very happy.

The staff were chatty and encouraging, helpful and understanding. All very much appreciated, thank you so much.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing. They came to the car with a wheelchair to help bring my relative in for emergency respite. Once we were told where she would be and shown to the room all the staff made her very welcome and introduced themselves. They brought a hot drink and biscuits and put her at ease straight away in what was an alien environment. The home is spotlessly clean rooms are beautiful and everything there is to make the transition from home a little less scary. The improvement in her in a few days is down to the excellent care provided.

Over a week ago a family member of mine came to Baily House, and I have been nothing but impressed since. From the start the service has been amazing. The managers were rapid in admitting her, they were very professional and understood our reasons for her to come into the home. The room was beautiful and well presented, the home is always clean and smells beautiful. The carers do wonders with her, she hadn't been eating, socialising or walking now she's doing it all. I'm so glad we moved her here and so nice to see her being back to herself. All the teams deserve recognition for how outstanding the home and the service is. Well done and a massive thank you to you all.
