Baily House Care Home is a modern, purpose built home which offers residential, dementia and respite care as well as palliative and end of life care services.

As well as the team of care assistants the home has a team of cooks, cleaners and maintenance staff to ensure the home is run to a continually high standard.

The home, which has WiFi, also provides residents with their own TV, fridge and telephone point in their bedrooms, and there are seven communal lounges providing other spaces to relax and enjoy spending time in.

The home’s gardens are secure and accessible to residents throughout the year, designed with the specific needs of an older person in mind.

After caring for a lady for many years, she moved into this incredible home. Before Baily House, she was extremely anxious about most aspects of life and had a genuine phobia of leaving the house. Now she is in Baily, she is interacting with other residents and staff, including herself in activities,
which involved recently even going to the pub for dinner. She is absolutely thriving in this environment, and it is so wonderful to see her living her life to the fullest. I love seeing photos of her looking so happy. This home has truly turned her life around.

My mum has lived in Baily House since September 2020. She is extremely well looked after in terms of her physical, emotional and care needs. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are all very loving and dedicated to looking after all the residents.
The home provides a wide variety of activities
and outings and celebrates all festivities throughout the year, wherever possible, involving residents' families.
A wonderful home which I would happily recommend.

It's a wonderful home. My mother always looks happy and well cared for. Keep me informed of any medical issues and have the doctor out when needed. Have lots of activities to do and keep the residents happy - colouring, jigsaws, making things, painting, bingo, sweets trolley, film days, hairdresser,
nails done. Outside there are gardens, an aviary and fish. Plenty of staff. Food always looks wonderful and is made on-site, even making birthday cakes. Just a wonderful home I would be pleased to go in myself.

Since my last review, my lovely husband has moved permanently into Baily House as his condition deteriorated. At the beginning, he could be difficult to handle. This was mainly due to water infections which were never completely cleared up. Every time the staff noticed his change in behaviour they were
alert and contacted the doctor who repeatedly sent him to Hospital. Antibiotics weren't strong enough or prescribed for long enough and in the end I nearly lost him to sepsis. All through this awful time the staff were diligent and insistent that he needed treatment and I hate to imagine what would have happened without them. I can't begin to express my gratitude. My mother, also at Baily House, is struggling with a chest infection and was about to be given yet more antibiotics. The fantastic carer contacted the doctor and alternative methods are being tried. All the staff there treat residents as they would family. My husband and Mum are so content and my mind is at rest. Thank you.

My wife has been in there for seven months could not have chosen a better home all staff are so committed to their work looking after the residents and their families. The staff are always doing activities and the residents always seem to be smiling. The Facebook page is always up to date transparent
and easy to follow.

Dad moved into Baily House in April 2021 after developing Dementia, the care and support he has received in general have been brilliant. The staff go out of their way to look after him and make him feel happy, which is a massive relief to all our family.

Baily House Care Home for the entire duration of our mother's stay has been second to none. All the staff have been very caring, helpful and understanding. From very early days it became clear to the family this was exactly where we needed our mum to be. Our first impressions were hopeful but Bailey
House and all the fabulous staff surpassed any expectations and gave so much more than we could have wished for! I will take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the staff on behalf of the family for making the entire experience very pleasurable and rememberable for all the right reasons. Mum was very happy with her extended family who preserved her dignity throughout and she was obviously very loved!

I went in way before all of this Covid started because I came in with my grandma, so she could pick some paperwork up, all of the staff were very welcoming, and the home is really looked after.

Baily House is an amazing care home. They cared for my dad with respect and a lot of love during his stay here. They have some amazing team members who go over and above for the residents. They have had a difficult year but have met the challenges head-on. The home is clean and well maintained. The
staff plan lots of activities to keep people busy and often entertained. I miss the sing-alongs. They are truly outstanding.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We visited many places before we decided on Baily House Care Home for Dad, they just didn’t feel like the right fit, but as soon as we visited Baily House we felt so welcomed. The home is more like a hotel than a care home and the staff are extremely helpful, nothing
is too much trouble. Dad seems happy here and loves the bar and activities. We feel reassured that Dad is safe, cared for and is happy, which is so important.

At the end of November Mum celebrated her 2nd anniversary at Baily House. In that time staff have worked wonders and on behalf of the family; we would like to thank everyone involved. The improvement in both her physical and mental state has been remarkable. Mum’s need to feel safe and secure cannot
be understated and this has been clearly achieved from the day she arrived. This has been a great relief to the family, particularly in the light of what has been a very difficult year. Mum has coped very well without her weekly visits and this is clearly due to the care and attention she continues to receive. Staff are always extremely helpful and friendly particularly with “Skyping” and the new visiting pod works really well. Our thanks to everyone concerned.

Baily House is an exceptional home. At a time when we needed help the most, they have been truly amazing. My mother in law became very poorly, very quickly at home during the pandemic. She desperately needed help with her care needs and the Baily team helped us with the transition from home to care
home and made the whole process so much easier. My mother in law is happy and in much better health thanks to this wonderful care home.

Baily House is an absolutely outstanding care home. The care, compassion and love we have all been given as a family has been outstanding by each and every one of the staff. My mum-in-law has come on so much since being a resident, she is happy and we know she has had, and continues to receive, the
best quality care. This is very reassuring to our family. We can't thank the staff enough. They always go above and beyond to give love and care to the residents. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff. They are always on the go making sure each and every resident's needs are met. Over the last 8 months during the pandemic the staff have never failed to keep us informed of our mum, we've not been able to visit much but the staff have given us regular updates by phone and we had a few lovely outdoor garden visits in the summer. In the last two weeks Baily House have provided an indoor seating booth, again the staff were amazing. This was a lovely visit. Well done Team Baily.

Mum has just returned to Baily House from hospital after a major operation. She was welcomed back with such love and affection. If anyone can help Mum to recuperate, Team Baily can. The staff team are outstanding and go above and beyond on a regular basis. We can relax now Mum is home with her extended
family. The team have been looking after Mum for over three and a half years and her time here has been filled with lots of love, laughter and oodles of support. Team Baily, you transform the lives of people with dementia every day and I can never thank you enough for all you do for my mum.

I feel that here at Baily House we put emphasis on each resident as an individual, promoting their choices and enabling them to maintain links with the wider community. There is a wide activities programme and all staff work together to encourage people to continue their long-term hobbies and take up new ones.


I believe the only way to achieve the very best care, is to have a well-trained and dedicated staff team, all of whom possess all the core values and beliefs that I and the company feel are essential to be a part of the Baily House Care Home. This is achievable through robust recruitment processes and by providing up-to-date, relevant training programmes. I enjoy working together to provide the most homely and best care experience for your loved ones.

As one of the Deputy Managers at Baily House, my role is to ensure that residents and staff are supported at all times.


The management team are available seven days a week to ensure that there is always someone available to help.


Part of my role includes ensuring that all staff are highly trained. I strive to include exciting and innovative training for all staff to ensure that the residents living at Baily House receive exceptional care.
