Baily House Care Home is a modern, purpose built home which offers residential, dementia and respite care as well as palliative and end of life care services.

As well as the team of care assistants the home has a team of cooks, cleaners and maintenance staff to ensure the home is run to a continually high standard.

The home, which has WiFi, also provides residents with their own TV, fridge and telephone point in their bedrooms, and there are seven communal lounges providing other spaces to relax and enjoy spending time in.

The home’s gardens are secure and accessible to residents throughout the year, designed with the specific needs of an older person in mind.

There has been a dramatic change in the way of activities, shows, entertainment, singers and dances are part of a package that is ongoing, with dates of such in a way in the future.
Bailey House is certainly a place to be. All staff are jolly and happy and will do anything for individual people.

The home is kept very clean. Furniture is immaculate, and the bedrooms are lovely. My parents are looked after very well. If they are in need of medical intervention, this is done promptly. Staff are very friendly to my parents and helpful. Very good entertainment is put on for residents.

As I live and work in Norwich, it is mainly weekends/holidays that I have the chance to visit. Saying goodbye to Mum is always a wrench, but carers are always on hand for support and have been a shoulder to cry on when I've been a 'blubbering wreck'! Regular musical events have a real impact on my
mum, especially a vocalist/piano/accordionist. My mum can relate to the music- it really brings her 'mojo' back! On two such occasions, I have sung and danced with Mum in my arms, just like old times, like we used to. It has been so emotional, yet so wonderful! Mum has been taken out for meals and the team always go that extra mile to organise fun events. Recently our family celebrated Mum's birthday with hats and a personally made cake with candles. We had tears and laughter and a very special afternoon. It is so comforting to know that all Mum's needs are met by such a compassionate, dedicated and supportive team. My mum is safe and loved in this beautiful home I call her 'Baily Bubble'.

My mother was there for a year and the home and surroundings were lovely. The staff are lovely and caring but unfortunately there was not enough of them or lacked training in certain areas. For example, my mother wore a catheter but checks were never carried out as to how much liquid my mother drank
to how little liquid was coming out. Therefore, because of this, my mother had lots of urinary infections. She has since been moved to another home and is so much happier there.

Having had experience of other care homes over the years I can honestly say that Baily is superb.
The staff are friendly, caring and ever helpful. My husband is content and although having Alzheimer's, appreciates the care and particularly the home cooked meals.

An attractive bright and cheerful home which provides it's service to patients. My mother-in-law, who has been cared for 4 times in a year, has always had good care and service during her stays.


However her recent stay left her upset at an incident she experience, whilst being moved from her position

in a lounge area to her room and left alone in her wheelchair in a darkened bedroom. Also unable to contact any staff via a buzzer, and wasn't responded to for 4/5 hours.


This was due to an incident between two females where police officers were involved. The person who moved her was a patient and staff were not around to see.

My father was registered severely sight impaired, requiring help with washing and dressing, as well as with eating. In the month that my father was resident he lost 1st (6.4kg) in weight. He found obtaining help with morning ablutions very difficult and the food was of an inadequate standard. I would
certainly NOT recommend this home to those with relatives who require any degree of day to day care. It's a home more suited to those that are still somewhat independent.

After out sudden loss of our father my sister and I found ourselves no longer able to care for our mother and we decided to view Baily house which was out of our immediate area. We were very impressed with the standard of care and the quality of the accommodation. During that time mum has been in Baily
house we have seen nothing but compassion and dignity throughout. Nothing is too much trouble.

My mother spent two weeks at Baily House which provided my father with a much needed break from caring for my mother who has Alzheimer's. The care she received was excellent, with beautiful food and surroundings. Lots of activities and entertainment whilst being cared for by lovely staff, where nothing
was too much trouble. Once inside this building, it resembles a luxury, 5 star hotel, not a care home. A lovely warm and safe place, I wouldn't hesitate to let mum stay again. Thank you all so much.

I feel that here at Baily House we put emphasis on each resident as an individual, promoting their choices and enabling them to maintain links with the wider community. There is a wide activities programme and all staff work together to encourage people to continue their long-term hobbies and take up new ones.


I believe the only way to achieve the very best care, is to have a well-trained and dedicated staff team, all of whom possess all the core values and beliefs that I and the company feel are essential to be a part of the Baily House Care Home. This is achievable through robust recruitment processes and by providing up-to-date, relevant training programmes. I enjoy working together to provide the most homely and best care experience for your loved ones.

As one of the Deputy Managers at Baily House, my role is to ensure that residents and staff are supported at all times.


The management team are available seven days a week to ensure that there is always someone available to help.


Part of my role includes ensuring that all staff are highly trained. I strive to include exciting and innovative training for all staff to ensure that the residents living at Baily House receive exceptional care.
