My parents settled in quickly and enjoyed the care and friendship of the staff, and it was reassuring to the family to know they were in such a pleasant place and being so well looked after.
Sadly, in November my mother's health deteriorated and her doctor advised that she would be better staying at Netley Court rather than going into hospital. At this point, the staff excelled themselves even more. Everyone from the manager to the chefs and maintenance team, plus the carers of course, were genuinely concerned for my mother's comfort and wellbeing, and extended their kindness to my father and visiting family.
My mother died peacefully at the end of November, and the carers on duty that night went beyond the call of duty in helping her and our family. The staff continued to support us and given my father the love and kindness he needs.
Thank you to all at Netley Court.
If you're reading this, wondering if to use Netley Court, I couldn't recommend it more highly. It is beyond excellent.
Myself as a qualified Social Worker who is now the CEO of a company that manages schools and children’s homes and having
It was exceptional, on all levels, the care for my Uncle is such that he will be moving home in October, something we did not believe possible. He has put on over a stone in weight, (the quality of the home cooked food takes up most of my conversations with him, by all accounts it is again outstanding) the stimulation and care have helped him to re frame his life choices. The communication with myself was faultless. His induction was outstanding, I could not attend but two friends were part of the process. The feedback from them spoke in terms of, attention to detail, kindness, preparation, welcoming and a high knowledge of my uncle, his history and current medical issues. Simply brilliant.
Your Manager has been fundamental in the process, he is obviously a great asset to your business. (Look after him, I have 24 care homes for the elderly within our company structure and would steal him at the drop of a hat!) His understanding of services user’s individual needs, communication, humour and consideration to relatives/friends should be used as a bench mark of best practice.
My Uncle will be leaving Netley court at the end of September/start of October, from an outcome analysis this is extraordinary. However on an emotional level he wants to come back for Christmas and new year.
