Wyndham Hall Care Home is a 2015 addition to the Maria Mallaband care home portfolio, a growing and respected provider that is highly-regarded within the UK care sector.

The new residence provides five star accommodation for 60 people and specialises in the provision of outstanding nursing, residential and dementia care within its beautiful modern facilities.

All 60 bedrooms are en-suite and decorated to an elegant hotel standard. The home is finished to a lavish standard throughout, offering comfort, elegance and security. Facilities also include elegant dining rooms, a quiet lounge, garden room, a pub, spa facilities and cinema room.

My mother had lived in a flat and was cared for me for some weeks at a time, until this summer when she became ill. At Wyndham Hall Care Home the care there enabled her to recover and improve to the point at which she walks with only a stick from having a wheelchair most of the time. Creative ideas
to help mum have been used, such as a pressure mat by her bed as she does not call for help and can fall at night. An activities coordinator is an asset to the mental health of the community, her craft sessions are well attended and mum is able to give her knowledge of crafts to others.

My brother went to Wyndham Hall for palliative care. Having looked at a number of care homes. I could not have chosen a better one. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, but more importantly, the care was outstanding. Every member of staff was wonderful, professional at all times and showed great
care, compassion and gave my brother dignity and respect at a very difficult time. They were also so very kind and thoughtful to all members of our family. I cannot thank them enough.

My husband has a good day, but a few things would have made it easier. No riser/reclining chair, instead we had to take our own, not very convenient for a two-week stay. Bio bidet for personal comfort and dignity. Shaped cutlery for easy eating, also my husband needs straws for every drink and I noticed
they weren't always offered - even though I provided special wide ones ie soup in a bowl with a spoon, instead of a cup/mug with a wide spout.
Very simple things which could so easily be corrected. Lovely bathrooms/wet rooms but staff need to be provided with shoe covers.

This is the fourth care home my mother has been in and by far the best. The home itself is clean and well equipped, very efficiently run and all the staff are kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely and the events they have at Christmas Easter etc are a pleasure to go to.
Most
importantly of all the main focus is on the residents comfort and needs.
I would highly recommend Wyndham Hall, it's such a relief to know my mother is being well looked after.

My father moved into Wyndham Hall Care Home on the 21st of September 2015, having received his first experience of care homes some 6 weeks earlier in another local facility. He arrived underweight, very morose, unhappy and with the onset of depression.
Since he arrived at Wyndham Hall he has gained
about 4kgs. His whole mood has lifted, he's happy, smiling, laughing, joking and beginning to enjoy life again.
At Wyndham Hall the staff are attentive, patient and most of all, understanding. The diet is centred around the needs of the individual, taking into account their likes and dislikes. The daily activities are set at the right level for the residents. The care manager continually puts herself out to make sure you as a family are happy with the way the home is looking after the resident.
The atmosphere within the home is upbeat, happy, nothing appears to be too much trouble, especially when it comes to the care of the resident. The family all agree the general atmosphere and surroundings are more like a hotel, you could easily forget you're in a care facility.
It's a pleasure to visit, more importantly, when I go on holiday, I know dad is in a safe environment. I fully recommend Wyndham Hall Care Home as a place to stay be it nursing, residential or respite care, it's your choice.
