Last weekend I visited my father who recently moved into Chamberlain Court. I received a warm friendly welcome and was escorted to my father's room which is bright, cheerful and well decorated. I was extremely impressed by the genuine respect and kindness the staff demonstrated to him at all times. The nurses made sure he understood everything they said and made him feel special, delivering the more personal aspects of his care in a dignified manner. There is attention to detail in everything from the furniture to the care of the individual. I spent the day at Chamberlain Court and left feeling relieved knowing he is in good hands. I have spoken with my father since my visit and I understand that on Sunday afternoon, whilst he was watching a film in the cinema room, they were given chocolates and popcorn and, yesterday, they had a Chinese meal to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. To quote my father he said "they make it a very nice and interesting place to live!

We came here to have lunch with a friend who is a resident.
We appreciated the small dining room where we had our own space to talk.
The service was excellent and we had a good meal for a very reasonable price.

Congratulations!

High quality individualised care provided in purpose-built accommodation. The home is clean, light and comfortable. Staff are friendly and approachable. The food is good quality and varied. Entertainment provided is carefully planned, inclusive and interesting. Individual needs are met, my mother's friends have been welcomed to allow her to enjoy bridge games which are so important for her mental stimulation.

We never anticipated the need for care provision for my 90 year old Mother. Circumstances dictated that this was not to be so. Comparing local care homes, Chamberlain Court more than met our expectations. Every aspect of care, comfort and attention to detail of the individual needs of residents is professionally handledd at every level. Thank you.

We needed urgent respite when my father fell and my mother could no longer care for him alone at home. The staff at Chamberlain Court took the best possible care of him. They took the trouble to find out about him. Understood how his dementia affects him and were unfailingly calm and kind. The activities were excellent and appropriate (wine tasting, discussions, cooking, exercise) the food is delicious and we felt welcome always. The building and décor are of a really high quality. It's the best home I've visited.
