The chef came to see my mother personally as she is a diabetic and discussed with her what she likes to eat, and all the facilities are excellent. I have peace of mind that she is being care for in a professional manor that is tailored to suit her specific needs and can visit her when ever I want to. The management have been very supportive and flexible and the process of admitting my mother was very efficient.
So far its been excellent!

I qualified as a general nurse in the Czech Republic where I grew up and have lived in Harrogate for 17 years. I have been at The Manor House for over 5 years and progressed to my current position internally.
I truly believe that our team delivers person-centred care that is in accordance with Anchor's values. Our home is located in the market town of Knaresborough and has a cosy family feel. We have close community links and are always looking at new ways to engage our neighbours and local groups to enhance our residents experiences.

I am the Activity Co-ordinator at The Manor House in Knaresborough and have been here for six years.
I co-ordinate all of the daily activities and plan events such as seasonal fayres, entertainment and excursions. The activities are tailored to suit our residents interests and we pride ourselves in executing a person-centred approach in all we do.
I love being a part of the team here and working alongside the residents who I consider to be family. It is more than just a job to me.
