I have always been most welcome by all staff and the care home always smells nice. The staff are all caring and always find time to discuss any issues I have. The laundry is excellent and activities are most enjoyable.

Sometimes seems staff putting a show on because you are there. Food stains on clothes. Hygiene sometimes not so good. We live in Skegness so don't visit every week so we probably see different things at one time, 11.30 someone was just coming for breakfast.

We had a nice time volunteering and singing at the Christmas Carol Concert. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and had a good time.

The staff put on a good event and were attentive. The place seemed very nice.

I take a group of young children to visit the residents from the local primary school.
The home is clean and happy, the staff are welcoming and caring towards the visitors and the residents.

We really enjoy our visits. The children listen to residents stories about their childhood and the residents enjoy listening to the children sing and play/make activities with them.

Overall Experience
I have visited this home several times to see an elderly friend and have always been impressed with the way in which it is run i.e. nursing care/cleanliness/security. My friend is very well looked after by the friendly knowledgeable staff, has a lovely room to herself and participates in all of the activities of which there are many. Having worked in 2 nursing homes and visited many more during my employment, I am all too aware of the need for good nursing care for the elderly/infirm and the need to not only have good nursing care but good mental stimulation too. The activities person goes above and beyond, organising in-house activities, fayres, trips out and just recently the Christmas party with a buffet, singer, disco and church choir organised to which relatives/friends were invited.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this home .......keep up the good work!
