Overall I am happy with the care provided from Gower Gardens. The staff are very attentive and happy in their care for all residents. Mum is dressed and coordinated with her necklace on as she would have been before the dementia and is treated with respect and dignity. I'm really pleased with the support

Friendly and efficient care home. Very clean, excellent facilities. Came to our rescue when Dad needed to leave hospital at short notice - thank you for this and to one member of staff in particular for coming out to the hospital to carry out an assessment.

My Mother and Father have been at Gower Gardens since May 2024. It's been a fairly traumatic time but thankfully they couldn't be in better hands. The staff, every single one of them, have been kind, caring and fun. There were some dark days with my Father and his mental health, but I will never forget
the compassion from members of the staff who were there supporting him.
I often stay for food with my parents and I can say the kitchen goes the extra mile to create delicious food. I also hear from other residents and resident's families how much they like Gower Gardens.
Thank you so much to all the staff at Gower Gardens, I couldn't recommend it more highly.

My mother who was 98 then came to Gower Gardens for two weeks respite in July 2023. Although she stated, "I am only stopping a week". At the end of the two weeks, it was decided to make the move from her home permanent. Everyone from the manager to the receptionist, carers, entertainment staff, kitchen
staff, laundry lady, cleaners and the maintenance man, have all been most welcoming helpful and kind. To be honest she is having the time of her life. She loves all the activities especially the arts and crafts run by the team. She makes badges flowers and bracelets, paints cooking and crumbles, cakes and pizzas. She plays dominoes and bingo and enjoys the singing, tea and coffee mornings, and best of all chatting with her new friends at the dinner table. She loves all the meals, and when I visit tells me when it is dinner or tea time. Thank you everyone at Gower Gardens for looking after my mom.

My father was a resident for 5 months. He absolutely loved it. In his final days staff pulled out all the stops to get him back to Gower Gardens from hospital and were so supportive. We felt like family from the very first day, and Dad was in the very best hands at a time when he needed it the most.
We are so thankful we found Gower Gardens staff were always brilliant and his care was outstanding.

My mom arrived at Gower Gardens after leaving another care home facility.
After a couple of days, she settled in and is so much happier now she is at Gower.
All the staff have been amazing with Mum, I cannot sing their praises enough.
Before going to Gower, my mum would not participate in activities
and just wanted to sleep most of the time.
Now she is getting involved, not only with daily activities but is also wanting to help with the washing up and other general housekeeping duties.
All the staff are so nice.
Calm, patient, reassuring and understanding, all the qualities you want from people who are caring for a loved one.
I would recommend Gower to anyone who is looking for a care home. Not only are all the staff fantastic but the home itself is beautiful. Always looking and smelling clean and fresh.
We are lucky to have found such a wonderful home for Mum.

My mother became unwell and this was quickly picked up by the carers. Their prompt actions to make Mum comfortable and initiate medical attention were exemplary and much appreciated.

The resident is generally happy with his care, any cause for concern is checked with the senior on shift, who will usually give a reason for the problem and explain it. The resident is fussy with food and the host on the floor is trying to address this.

My relative has settled well thanks to the team. He has complex needs and is a very fussy eater. The whole team have taken time to understand his individual needs and how best to meet them. We are confident in the care and when we leave we know he is safe, this is priceless, he has had a very difficult

I'm disabled and my wife is in the home with dementia, I went in over Xmas for 2 weeks to be with her. I was very surprised by the care that was taken to make her feel comfortable, the carers seem to go that extra mile to help, so different to other homes she's been in. The food is good and the home
spotless, the cleaners are always on the go. Although not the cheapest, I would recommend to anyone.

My mum moved into Gower Gardens in November. She has had exceptional care by all the staff. Gower Gardens is bright and airy, beautifully decorated and furnished. It is impeccably clean. The food is amazing (I had Christmas dinner with my mum on Christmas day). All staff from all areas are really friendly
and approachable. Lovely relationships have been formed with my mum in a very short space of time. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Mum initially came for respite with a view to becoming a more permanent resident. Within 2 weeks of her stay she wanted to make Gower Gardens her permanent residence. Everyone is so helpful and caring that they are a big extended family making what I anticipated to be emotional and difficult an easy
transition.

I like my activities to be person-centred and ensure the residents are actively involved in the planning process. By doing this, I can create meaningful and engaging activities that cater to their individual interests, which promotes their well-being.


In my spare time, I enjoy making homemade gifts, socialising with friends and family and looking after my grandchildren.
