I visit once a week for about an hour. Staff are pleasant to me and my friend, sometimes providing refreshments. Christmas activities were good, but the TV in the main lounge seems to be just left on regardless of the programme and was not engaging the residents despite being very loud. Shortage of staff has had a negative effect on my friend - morning rise and bedtimes late and loss of mobility. She has to wait for two carers to be moved and no longer uses her walking frame independently.

The staff treat us like family. Nothing is too much trouble. My uncle appears content and happy here.

We are in the process of putting together our new seasonal menus and will be asking residents for their input with this to ensure all residents' preferences are met.

My great-aunt was a resident here for five years. The day of her funeral I had a puncture in my car, 10 minutes before the cars took us to the church. The next day the staff were amazing, supporting me to fix my tyre. My aunt was very comfortable at Gower Gardens Care Home, she was looked after well and this has been very reassuring for me as I live overseas! Thank you for all that you've done for my auntie.

I have attended Kingsley's meeting for residents and families since Gower Gardens transferred to Kingsley Healthcare. Several of the commitments made have not been realised e.g. staff on reception during the weekend (can be a long wait to be let in). Also, all residents to have key workers that families can correspond with during the week. It is difficult to find a member of staff who provides relevant information. Quality of food fluctuates, despite being told that residents would be provided with a monthly nutritional menu. Overall, staff do try to be helpful when approached. Activities are varied and updated.

The surroundings are pleasant. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Mom seems content and happy. I can't comment on value for money as my sister deals with this.

Mum moved into Gower Gardens in February 2020 and we've been very happy with her care. Sadly, the Covid lockdown and subsequent restrictions have meant that we can't spend time with her in the lounge or visiting rooms, we hope this will change soon.

My mother has been at Gower Gardens for nearly three years. She has been well cared for, despite her increasing needs and she has always felt safe and respected by the staff. I would recommend Gower Gardens to other family members.

We moved Mom to Gower Gardens in April 2022. Since that time, we have been very happy with the care given, staff and facilities. Mam engages with the activities and likes the staff. We are reassured that she is safe and well cared for at Gower Gardens. Friends who have visited Mam have all commented on how nice it is for Mam and that moving her was the
