Sai Ram Villa care home cares for predominantly, but not exclusively, older Asian people, particularly Indian. The home offers residential, nursing, mental health, dementia and palliative care for up to 46 residents.

Located in Harrow, London, the home is round the corner from Harrow and Wealdstone Underground station and close to local shops and amenities.

The beautifully decorated home features four lounges, three dining rooms, a salon and a therapy room. There is a special room dedicated to prayer and silent worship. Outdoor spaces include a landscaped garden, a terrace garden and a balcony. All bedrooms are single and include an en-suite wet room, as well as telephones and televisions which offer Asian TV networks. CCTV is in place in communal areas.

The home’s mini-bus takes residents to local attractions and places of worship. A large activity room is used for film nights and worship, the room has a TV link to enable residents to take part from their bedrooms if desired. Three dedicated activities coordinators offer a range of activities such as crafts, discussions and debates, exercise groups and outings. Residents can also request one to one activities of their choosing.

The home kitchen prepares exclusively vegetarian food. Residents are provided with freshly prepared, nutritious food throughout the day. Each resident is asked to write down their preferred foods so that the kitchen can cater for these, as well as any dietary requirements.

Our mum was a resident at Sairam Villa for almost four years. She was a strong person and demanding. The whole team of Sairam took great care and responded well to all her requirements. Sadly she passed away in December 2023 at the age of 109 years. We like to thank all the staff at Sairam Villa Care

My mother has been living at Sairam Villa for over 2 years and is in a happy place. The care home is well-equipped and the staff are very polite and attentive to my mother's needs. There are daily activities and the coordinator of these activities does a wonderful job in getting all the residents involved.

My mother is very happy at Sairam Villa. She is very well looked after. All her needs are provided for adequately. Whenever we go to visit her we are made to feel very welcome.

My mother has been living at Sairam Villa just over a year. She has been receiving excellent care at the care home. The team of management and staff are very professional, caring, kind and supportive. The activity coordinator is fantastic for arranging suitable events for the residents and keeps them

My mum was temporarily placed in a different nursing home, and from the 1st of December 2023, moved into Sairam Villa.
From day one onwards, we could see the difference.
The staff are so kind, caring and compassionate towards the residents and their relatives.
The care Mum receives at Sairam Villa
is excellent, and after months of worrying about Mum, I am now relieved.
The environment is very peaceful. My mum has dementia, and she gets anxious in the evenings.
The staff all talked to her very kindly and put her mind to rest.
I would highly recommend Sairam Villa.

Clean reception and friendly receptionist. No unwanted items in the corridor are ever seen. Seems a well-kept place. Staff are all helpful and clear in their communication and show loads of dedication to the care of the residents. The events coordinator works very hard to make sure residents get a variety
of entertainment and is very knowledgeable of Hindu rituals and auspicious events.

My father has been living at Sairam Villa for almost a month now and we have been so impressed with everything. The communication from the staff, the care he has been provided and the activities put in place have helped him to settle in. The community aspect (Gujarati food, events and language spoken)

Sairam is really an excellent care home and is highly recommended! My mother needed to stay at a home after her health had made it become too difficult to manage on her own, even with support. She needed somewhere that she felt comfortable, with Gujarati-speaking staff and Indian food. I, as a family
member, wanted her care to be a priority and to have the peace of mind that she is being well cared for.
I can say, without a doubt, she is being cared for extremely well, and the staff are helpful and happy to assist with her needs. There is plenty of activity (more would be good!), and the safety of the residents is their priority (during Covid, it was a strict lockdown managed perfectly). I also always get updates from the nurses when she is not well. I cannot thank the team enough for all that they do.

My mother has been in this care home now for many years, and they have been amazing and given her the utmost care.
I am truly grateful for their service, and the staff are amazing and very informative.
The management will contact asap if there were an issue.
I would definitely recommend this care
home.
The place is clean and tidy, and each room is at a high standard.
There are many activities to get involved in with their residents, and it's a fun place for residents.

My mother has been a resident of Sairam Villa Care Home since April 2023.
Since coming here, we have seen a significant improvement in her physical and mental health. She has settled in well and seems to be very happy here!
She is always treated with respect, compassion and dignity by the staff.
She's
Gujarati, Jain and doesn't speak English and required dementia care!

My mother has been at Sairam since mid-January 2023 and has settled in well. She is very happy with the care and attention she gets and gets on well with the carers. She also enjoys all the activities and is always happy to participate. She likes the variety of food she eats and also enjoys watching
Indian TV channels. Her room is very airy and bright, and the bathroom is always clean. I am happy that she gets urgent medical attention whenever the need arises, and one member of staff takes good care of her. Overall, the services provided are excellent.

Happy with the service provided to my dad. Looked after well, and very helpful staff, always willing to sort out the problems the residents have. The care home kept up well with the tough Covid times and kept us informed about this situation, and the restrictions were placed in order.

Friendly and approachable staff. Any enquiries from myself are dealt with promptly.
I am always well informed by nurses if my mum is unwell, whether she has been seen by the GP and any medication prescribed.
There are usually no activities at the weekend hence my mum gets bored.

Sairam Villa Care Home is conveniently located in the Harrow area and is easily accessible. The 24/7 care and attention from the staff and nurses, along with the private rooms and common areas, provide a comfortable and supportive environment. The emphasis on participation in group activities and the
availability of a GP for weekly check-ups also indicate a commitment to residents' well-being. The availability of a vegetarian-friendly menu and the preparation of fresh food in-house are also great features of the care home.
The care home offers ample open spaces, including a garden, for residents to enjoy during the summer months. Overall, Sairam Villa Care Home is an excellent choice for elderly care. I personally marked the various aspects of the care home as 'Good'; in the boxes below, but they could easily be considered 'Excellent'; based on the level of care and support provided to my mother.

My mother receives really good care at Sairam Villa. She has been there for over three months now, and all the staff members have been friendly and professional in supporting our mum to settle in.
The activities coordinator is really great at organising suitable activities and events, ensuring all
residents are able to take part.
The nurses are also friendly and, to date, have always been in contact with us for any concerns and changes in Mum.
My father was also a resident at Sairam Villa prior to his passing in 2020. The level of care was good then and has since improved.
The management and staff have done a fantastic job through the Covid pandemic restrictions. They have always been available to discuss any concerns.

My father has been at Sairam Villa for a month now and he is settling in well. It is a big change for an elderly person, he enjoys the vegetarian food that the chef cooks and he gets a lot of help from the lovely carers, who show kindness and respect. The nurses are very helpful in looking after his
medical needs and call you straightaway if there are concerns. The activities coordinator is always finding ways of keeping residents stimulated and the management is very helpful in helping my father to settle in well and listening to any concerns I may have.

My mum gets fantastic service at Sairam villa. My family and I visit Mum on daily basis and cannot find any criticism. Mum absolutely loves the activities.
I am really happy and would like to praise the staff member for facilitating the booking for visits.
Would also praise two members of staff for
giving personal attention to Mum.
And obviously, all the young carers too. Sadly I dont know their names, but all of them are always smiling.

I am the operations director for the Angel Care/MNS Care group of care homes. I qualified as a mental health nurse training in 1991 and as an adult nurse in 1996. I have worked in social care, specialising in older people since 1991, as I made the positive decision to work in this rewarding sector after I first qualified.
