From arrival at reception to the ward, absolutely brilliant care to my husband while at Casa di Lusso Nursing Home, all staff are very kind and considerate. Could not fault this place. Would definitely recommend this care home.
Thank you for your excellent review and kind words regarding the care of your husband at Casa di Lusso.
You all make Casa such a lovely place to be. We always felt welcomed, and Aunty was always cared for wonderfully. She was happy and safe; you all do an amazing job. We are so grateful she was with you all. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. You are all amazing. Thank you so much.
Thank you for these kind words. This has been passed on to the team. It is nice to hear back from families about their satisfaction and happiness with the care provided at Casa di Lusso.
Amazing staff throughout. Very caring individual care. Great facilities for residents. Just a wonderful place for long term care. Treating residents as an individual throughout their stay - so well done. Thank you very much everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to write this great review of our Casa di Lusso Care Home. It's wonderful to hear that you've found that the level of care is of a high standard. I will pass your kind words on to the staff team as I'm sure they'd love to see your review.
My dad was at Casa di Lusso Nursing Home from September 2019 until he died in May 2022, he had dementia. We moved Dad back from Musgrove so he could receive better end-of-life care at Casa di Lusso Nursing Home than the hospital could provide. Management and staff did everything they could to make me and Mum comfortable over his last days and nights. On arrival back from Musgrove, the day staff stayed late past their 12-hour shift to help settle Dad back in and welcome him home. The night staff were also wonderful, regularly checking on him and us while explaining what was happening. The final day, we encouraged staff to come and say their goodbyes, which they did. Management made a special trip out of their busy day to come and pay their respects too. The last few hours, Dad was surrounded by all the staff who had known him and us from day one, it was a peaceful and dignified ending. One year on we still visit Casa di Lusso Nursing Home to say hello, they always give us a warm welcome and treat us like family.
Thank you for taking the time to write this great review of our Casa di Lusso Care Home. It's wonderful to hear that you've found that the level of care is of a high standard and Dad's journey had a dignified ending. I will pass your kind words on to the staff team as I'm sure they'd love to see your review.
Everybody concerned with my father has looked after him with great care and attention. I cannot fault any of the services supplied. I would recommend the home to anyone.
Dear Nigel, thank you for these kind words. This has been passed on to the team. It is nice to hear back from families about their satisfaction and happiness with the care provided at Casa di Lusso.
Mum's care is consistently good and she appreciates all that is done for her in personal care, practical help, emotional support and helping to keep her mentally stimulated. Mum doesn't like asking for help and it is difficult sometimes to be sure that she is getting sufficient fluids etc. as she is reluctant to ask or sometimes unable to buzz for help, as recently on her return from hospital.
Residents' interaction with the Casa 'pets'; - rabbits, chinchillas and alpacas - is facilitated by the activity coordinators. With warmer weather and hopefully her improving health, it would be lovely for Mum to be wheeled into the garden for a change of scenery from her room as she is no longer mobile. Also, Casa ensures that its residents do not miss out on any major events like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Dear A H, thank you so much for your positive comments which will be shared with the whole team. It is always good to hear how happy our families are and to take suggestions.
Mum moved into the home in January 2020. I was so pleased to find such a lovely place for her to live. The staff were excellent - caring, cheerful, friendly and professional. It was very reassuring to know Mum was receiving such good care, particularly as I lived over 200 miles away. Her room was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The facilities and activities were wonderful, I know Mum enjoyed them whilst she was able. She sadly passed away at the end of March. During Mum’s last few days all the staff went above and beyond to look after her. Treating her with dignity and respect, whilst also ensuring that myself and my daughter were given care and support during that difficult time. I am so very grateful that Mum was able to spend her last few years in such a place. I would like to say a big thank you to all the team - carers, nurses, activities staff, receptionists, management and cleaners with whom I had the pleasure of dealing with during Mum’s stay.
Dear Susan, thank you so much for your positive comments which will be shared with the whole team. It is always good to hear how happy our families are. Thank you again. Best wishes.
The continuing care my husband has received in Casa di Lusso Nursing Home is excellent. He is treated with dignity, care and respect. All the staff I have come into contact with are friendly, efficient and polite. I can only speak from the care and treatment I have witnessed for which I can't speak highly enough.

My sister has been in the Pisa unit for just over four and a half years, she has been very happy and I know felt loved and cared for during her time there. Sadly, she has no proper memory or words for conversations but she manages well, all because of the care, concern and thoughtfulness of the wonderful carers and management.
Dear Sally, thank you so much for your positive comments which will be shared with the whole team. It is always good to hear how happy our families are and to take suggestions. Thank you once again.
From first contact and continuing, we have received a warm and friendly welcome. When we have questions they are answered promptly and any abnormal events are reported to relatives. Care would appear to be ongoing and timely. We have confidence in the care and security for my wife. Activities coordinators do a great job.
Dear Barry, thank you so much for your positive comments which will be shared with the whole team. It is always good to hear how happy our families are and to take suggestions. Thank you once again.
Initially, she enjoyed being able to go outside to view the animals and sometimes visit the coffee shop with family members.
She receives very good care and any issues which occur with her health are dealt with and we are kept informed.
The range of activities per month are very good and the staff are well used to Mum's individual personality and tastes, her likes and dislikes.
The recent Jubilee was very well coordinated and all residents were encouraged to take part in a picnic outside, which was enjoyed by all.
Mum has made one friend, who calls on her with her walker when she passes, and they sit together for lunch most days.
We have arranged for the in-house chiropodist to attend to Mum's feet regularly but she prefers me to cut her hair.
Thank you for your kind words, we are really pleased to hear that the Jubilee celebrations were a success. The deputy manager and the team worked hard to facilitate an enjoyable event for all.
My husband has been in the home for ten months. He settled in very quickly. He is happy with the way he is treated in all aspects of his care and that makes me happy.
Dear Marilyn, thank you for taking the time to write this great review of our Casa di Lusso Care Home. It's wonderful to hear that you've found that the level of care is of a high standard. I will pass your kind words on to the staff team, as I'm sure they'd love to see your review. Kind regards.
My only criticism is some nurses leave a cryptic voicemail, "call us as soon as you get this message", even when not urgent, causes relatives to worry. Please be clearer.
Dear Kevin, thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback, this does motivate us to carry on our duties with more enthusiasm. Your feedback will be passed on to the team. Kind regards.
My parents are very pleased with the care and support that they receive. The staff are excellent and the communication from them is frequent and detailed.

Always made to feel welcome on entering the home. The facilities are second to none. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The level of care for my aunty is very good. She can be difficult sometimes!

As soon as my husband arrived here he couldn't stop telling us how nice his room was. His nurse was friendly and nothing was too much trouble, whenever someone was free they took him for a walk outside, which was one thing he missed most. The food was excellent and he was even eating things he wouldn't eat at home. I cannot rate this home high enough and would recommend to anyone.

My dad went into this care home in December 2019. He received the best care you could want for anyone. The staff were extremely friendly. The food was good. The cleanliness of the home was very good. He sadly passed away on the 25th of June. He received the most dignified care in his last few days. The management team are very good, if you feel troubled by anything they listen, the deputy manager will do her utmost to help and give her time to you. I felt my dad was safe and in good care, he was always clean. He didn’t want for anything.
Dear Ursula, thank you for these kind words. This has been passed on to the team. It is nice to hear back from families on their satisfaction and happiness with the care provided at Casa di Lusso. You have always appreciated the staff team. Kind regards.
My parents joined the home in 2018 with care that was tailored to their individual needs. Within a short time, I was confident that they would be safe, happy and well cared for. My daily visits allowed me to see the considerate and dignified care given to many of the residents. All staff, whatever their role in the home, were always supportive, professional, compassionate, friendly and helpful. The staff were cheerful and welcoming and ensured my parents always felt special, valued and well supported with kindness. After a year my father died but he had received wonderful care and attention. My mother was helped through her bereavement by understanding and kind carers. The staff foster good relationships with residents but also with residents families and their willingness and cooperation is exemplary. My mother rated this home very highly and she loved the outstanding facilities. Sadly, she died recently but received dedicated and outstanding care. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.
Thank you so much for the lovely review. Your kind words are an inspiration to all of us at Casa. You have always been so supportive to us and we are so grateful and privileged to have known your family.
My friend has been there since 1st December and he is doing really well. He is looked after, so clean with nails and hair all done, nice clothes all washed, he is really cared for. I am very pleased with how he is looked after.
Kind regards

My parents were at Casa di Lusso for a 2-week respite stay, Mum, coming from hospital and Dad joining her from home. I was unable to visit before choosing the home, partly because of covid restrictions and partly because I live a long way from Bridgwater and they needed to move quickly, so telephone contact was a really important part in making our choice, and I felt everyone I spoke with really cared about them, even before meeting them. When they arrived, they were immediately made to feel very welcome, and in spite of having to be barrier nursed for the whole 2 weeks and so couldn't take advantage of the lounges, activities etc (following the necessary PHE guidelines), they both very much enjoyed their stay. I work in a care home myself, and know-how challenging times are at the moment with the Coronavirus, but all the team were kind, chatty and enjoyed a laugh with them. As a family, we are very grateful for the care and TLC they both received.
We really appreciate you completing this wonderful review. It is lovely to read your positive comments on the respite care received by your parents. Our staff take great care and respect when providing support for all our residents and their loved ones. And we are particularly proud of the...
