My dad has been a resident at Casa since August 2019. When he initially entered the home, having suffered a brain bleed as well as vascular dementia, he was a sad lost soul after spending 4 months in an assessment centre. The staff at Casa have worked wonders with him and have transformed his life.
They have treated him as an individual, found out all about him and set about giving him a purpose in life again. Casa is a lovely place with lots of space and wonderful bedrooms. All staff including the Manager are very approachable and listen. My dad has very good quality meals and all food and fluids are recorded to make sure he is well-nourished and hydrated. Knowing he is in a safe place has helped our family cope with his diagnosis. The staff continue to support us as a family and we are eternally grateful. Casa like feedback to ensure they continue to improve and ensure the residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

I am highly impressed with all staff, management and facilities at Casa di Lusso. The care my father has received has been nothing short of excellent. In a period of two months, Casa di Lusso has helped my father turn a huge corner from being a lost, confused, emotional individual to being a more calm,
relaxed, altogether happier individual who seems to have found purpose again. Not only has this care benefitted my father, it has also benefitted the whole family knowing that he is being looked after so well with all his needs being met. The care and support the whole family have received is excellent.

As far as I am aware my friend is being well cared for. When I have visited she always seems reasonably content.

My aunt has only been with this provider for a couple of months but my first impressions are of a caring and efficiently run home. The rooms are generous in size, well equipped and clean. The financial side of things seems a little haphazard at the moment, I don't receive the promised emails to tell
me what, and when, money is taken via the direct debit and there is often no-one to speak to when I phone.
It would be nice to have periodical reports on how my aunt is doing or any changes in her condition but maybe this will happen over time.

My father-in-law became resident at Casa di Lusso at the start of December 2018. He had advanced dementia with inappropriate behaviour. Prior to that time, he had needed to be fed at home and in hospital. Speaking to one of the carers, a month after he arrived there, it transpired that he had been feeding
himself since the second day there, and still is doing so.
His room is brilliant. His support is excellent. His daughter and I visited many homes prior to Casa di Lusso, and while their carers were good, none had facilities comparable with those at this home. I can unconditionally recommend Casa di Lusso.

This is a bright and roomy establishment with staff that are second to none, they are always extremely helpful, polite and show passionate concerns for the residents. The food is great the manager has full control over the whole organisation. There are always activities going on that residents are encouraged
to participate in but ultimately it is the residents' choice as to whether they join in.

Our first impression of Casa di Lusso was of a fine building, spacious and well maintained and wonderfully light. All the rooms were well furnished and clean with large windows looking out into the garden. The staff were friendly and kind, and attentive to the needs of their patients. We were welcome
at any time of the day and felt confident that my husband would be well cared for. The manager could not have been more helpful and we would happily recommend the home.

Mum moved here from another care home. She immediately was much happier. The home is bright and airy. The staff are friendly and attentive to her particular needs. Mum has started putting on weight after months of decline in the old care home. This is a massive plus and speaks volumes about the care,
quality and the food! Mum has been able to take part in activities in the home and the photos of her smiling are treasured.

Lack of staff, particularly at weekends. More training required for staff to understand dementia and helplessness.
Facilities are not available to helpless patients, no time or enough equipment such as hoists and slings. Staff have to search the home to find a sling to shower patients, all time wasting.

Staff have been wonderful to Dad during his time at Casa. He has not always been easy to care for and has been treated with dignity and respect at all times. The staff work extremely hard dealing with the most vulnerable of residents always having a smile and time for both residents and visitors alike.

Generally, the staff are excellent with one or two exceptions who, in my opinion, should step up to their responsibility and react faster to residents' needs. There are times when there are not enough staff in units to cope with demand.
The overall standard of cleaning could be improved and I have
commented on a few issues.
Issues arise with residents belongings going missing and in a secure unit, do not emerge in a satisfactory time.

Food good but could be more varied and home cooked.
Carers good but sometimes leave residents a long time before they see to their needs.
Nurse care for medicines could be better - slow to make a change of meds when required.
Follow on appointments for eye/ear tests very slow,
Home comfortable.
Rooms a good size. Staff friendly. Big open areas and grounds for walking.

My mother has been in the home for over 2 years and in that time, has received excellent care and attention from all staff. I am satisfied with medical assistance when required and the kindness and dedication/empathy shown by care assistants and nursing staff.

The resident I visit could not be in a better home for care and safety.
In an area that is easy to get to, also good grounds with plenty of parking when visiting made welcome by all the staff from the top to the bottom.

Excellent facilities and rooms. Common areas very good and well maintained. Care and medical staff very helpful and make a real effort to know the residents and trust them individually. Access for visitors is not satisfactory with dated bell push system and no real control over visitor access.
A good
programme of activities and opportunities to access animal barn and outside areas which are excellently presented and very safe for older residents.

My dear wife came to Casa Di Lusso in April 2017 for respite. Her dementia became very bad and on medical advice, I booked her into Casa Di Lusso on an open-ended agreement. Apart from one hiccup (dealt with by management), her treatment was first class and I was looked after as well. I will always
be grateful to your wonderful staff.
