Pemberley Manor Care Home is a purpose-built modern care home for up to 75 residents. Close to Chislehurst in the borough of Bromley, the home is conveniently located close to the A20 and local train stations. The highly trained care team provides 24-hour care and takes time to get to know residents and their needs individually offering a truly person-centred approach.

The care home provides person-centred residential and specialist dementia care across three floors. The home also offers short-term respite care, ideal for a period of convalescence following a stay in hospital. Mum had respite for six weeks following an accident and she had the best care in Baycroft. Staff were excellent in all care requirements. She could not have been better looked after.

My relative has received excellent care and attention but most importantly, all her needs and wishes have been respected and dealt with with kindness and dignity.
All staff are pleasant, cheerful, helpful and professional.
No-one can ask for more.

Following a very upsetting afternoon/evening for my mum the care staff went "above and beyond" their duties to help and comfort her. Thank you Baycroft staff you know who you are. You can pay for care but you cannot pay for the caring received.

It is a great place. Staff friendly and very helpful. Food delicious. You couldn't wish for a nicer environment for your family member. It is like a 5* hotel.

My aunt has been a resident at Baycroft since February 2018. With the help of the lovely staff, she has settled well and is very happy. We have been very impressed with the care she has received and the beautiful surroundings that Baycroft provides.

Dad moved to Baycroft just before Christmas 2017 after a spell in hospital. At the grand age of 100, we realised he needed more care than he was able to have in his previous residential home.
Baycroft is brand new and beautifully furnished with wonderful amenities. Dad's room is spacious with an en-suite
shower room, TV, phone, comfortable adjustable bed and is always spotlessly clean.
He is near to a lounge with access to a delightful garden, recently stocked full of plants, which will be perfect for sitting in during the summer. A choice of nutritious meals is served in the dining room, cooked and presented to the highest standard.
The staff are superb. Dad has become part of the family and so have I. Qualified nurses are always on hand, the doctor visits regularly and the carers are cheerful, skilful and dedicated. Everyone is treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. Dad happily joins in the many activities that are on offer and families are invited to join in the fun too.

My neighbour and good friends mother is now in Baycroft Grays Farm Road. We have known and loved her for many years and it was a pleasure to visit her in Baycroft for Christmas carols and snacks. So pleased she is in such a fantastic place. Not only 5 star accommodation but everything else as well.
She even recognised the local mayor who paid a visit. I firmly believe being in such a great home will extend her life as she is so well looked after.

The staff are kind, friendly and caring. The menu is good but more traditional English flair needed given the age of residents. The home is like a first-class hotel and all are treated with dignity. I feel my mum is safe and contented when I leave her. Facilities are excellent, clean and tidy and the
home furnishings and rooms are all exceptional all with Sky TV on the walls. Activities need working on which will happen as staff join the company, hopefully.

We have been extremely impressed by the care and dedication of all the staff. They go out of their way to ensure that my mother is treated with dignity, and they are so friendly and supportive to all of the family members. It does not feel like a care home more like an extended family home.

A beautiful, purpose-built new home. Excellent care, nothing is too much trouble.
The food is satisfying and the chef will always accommodate and cook individual meals if the menu is not liked.
It's like a five-star hotel in all areas.

I started my career as a carer, after spending my childhood watching my parents working in various care homes and seeing the difference this made to people's lives, care is quite literally in my genes! As soon as I left school, I knew this was what I wanted to do and I worked as a carer for 4 years, before changing roles in my previous care home to Activities coordinator, I continued in this role and then joined the incredible team at Baycroft as a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, where I was mostly responsible for organising and hosting our weekly activities programme.


I have recently started an exciting new position within Baycroft as a customer relations manager and have been enjoying exploring my new role and furthering my skills.

Michele del Monaco

Job Title: Chef Manager Joined: 2017

Raised in Caserta, Italy, Michele del Monaco grew up surrounded by the finest ingredients and traditions of Southern Italy. He’s had an amazing career, including working in Sardinia, taking the position of Executive Chef in one of Rio de Janeiro’s finest Italian restaurants and joining the world-renowned kitchens at the two Michelin-starred Hotel Il Pellicano in Tuscany.


Over his global career, Michele has evolved his cooking to incorporate the modern fine dining style whilst maintaining the authentic Italian concept inspired by his homeland, which is what he is now bringing to Baycroft in Orpington.


Our personal favourites are his calamari, beef wellington and apple crumble!!

Hi, My name is Lauren and I am the new Home Administrator for Baycroft, Grays Farm Road. I have been in the care industry since 2013 when I started as a carer in an extra scheme and from there, I progressed into more senior roles over the 6 years I worked there. I then worked for a private domiciliary service in Bromley until the end of 2020. I have always enjoyed working in care and gaining various experiences from the roles have been in over the years, It's very rewarding knowing that you are making a difference in a person's life. After a break from work to raise children, I am now here at Baycroft and I am looking forward to working with the team and meeting the residents and family members.

My name is Joanne, and I am one of the receptionists at Baycroft Orpington I have worked as a receptionist all my working life.

I love my job as a receptionist at Baycroft Orpington because I get to see so many visitors with who I really enjoy chatting.

Hi, I recently joined Baycroft as a Receptionist. My background is in Beauty and Aesthetics, most recently as an Aesthetic Consultant at Harley Street. As a therapist and consultant, I have always enjoyed working with the older generation and building a relationship with them to the point a lot of them became friends. I have a caring nature and decided to get into the care industry using my customer service and reception skills. I know I will get a lot of job satisfaction from knowing I am part of helping someone’s care and attending to their friends and relatives, giving them 5-star service.

I am the maintenance man for Baycroft, I have been made very welcome and supported by the staff in the home.


I’ve been in care for over 17 years in different roles predominantly in Dementia homes, eventually moving into training. Qualified in all aspects of training within the healthcare sector. I moved out of care homes and into a highly successful training company teaching across all sectors of care including the NHS. I am a qualified Dementia trainer for the world-renowned Virtual Dementia Tour and a Newly designed Dementia Interpreter I can utilise my skills gained to help make the residents' lives as fulfilling as possible.

I joined Baycroft in 2019 as a healthcare assistant but I started caring in 2017 for my great nan when she became unwell. I have now started a new role as Activities Coordinator at Baycroft Grays Farm Road, I am enjoying creating a diverse, stimulating activities programme for residents to enjoy.


I enjoy taking part in the daily activities with residents and it is so rewarding to see them benefiting from having social interaction with others and a sense of empowerment from taking part.

BIN ZHANG graduated from Medical College of SOUTHEAST UNIVERSITY in China and gained a Diploma of Medical Laboratory Science. After his graduation, BIN worked as a medical laboratory scientist in general hospitals for 10 years, as a senior QC supervisor and ISO15189 internal auditor in independent medical laboratories for 4 years, and as a QA manager and senior medical IVD scientist in an international medical devices company.


After moving to UK BIN gained NVQ-3 Health and Social care certificates and has been working in healthcare settings for 6 years. During his work experience, he has a good reputation for client-centred care service as a healthcare assistant and senior healthcare assistant.
