This was my first time as a respite resident for 10 days in Cedar Mews.

My first experience was very good. The members of the management were extremely helpful in every way and always on hand to help you. The care workers were excellent, very experienced and understanding of my needs. The food was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My wife entered Cedar Mews for 1 week to give me some respite. This is a 5 star facility with staff to match. In fact, it is probably the best care home in the country (in my opinion).
It is a brand new facility. The care and compassion shown to my wife was second to none, in fact, she has been back on a day basis which gives me a rest and the peace of mind to know she is being properly cared for.

The quality and choice of food is exceptional. I would urge anyone looking for a top class care home to go and visit, you will be amazed.

From day one and the initial meeting with staff members, I had an extremely good feeling about the whole being of the place.
The welcome was warm and genuine not only to my sister but myself too.
Nothing is too much effort for any staff member.
They show a keen interest in all things connected to the folk for whom they care.

I can only envisage it going from strength to strength and wish them well.

My friend has been in Cedar Mews for the last month or so and wow what a difference I can see in him. That atmosphere and care delivered are so good that he has gained weight and confidence and is enjoying being social again. I cannot thank the staff at Cedar Mews enough or praise the care levels enough - when can I book a room!!

While my dad was at Cedar Mews, he was treated like a king. He had previous trust issues with carers but at Cedar Mews they took this on board worked with him and he overcame this. The care he got at Cedar Mews was outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any staff member. I am so thankful to everyone there for looking after dad so well.

My Partner looks forward to his day at Cedar Mews each week, and he returns full of praise for the welcoming friendly care received in most comfortable surroundings, the company of friends, and the excellent food served.

This is so reassuring to know for me as his carer, and enables me to enjoy my day off, knowing how very well he is cared for.

Mum said she would never go into a care home. We searched for a long time and then brought mum to see Cedar Mews. Mum's whole attitude changed from the first visit, they asked about mums requirements and they also asked questions about how mum felt about going into the home and put her at ease. The way she has been treated is marvellous, no one could ask for more, everyone there genuinely cares for the residents. It is more like a big happy family. The warm friendly atmosphere captures you when you arrive. Mum is extremely well looked after and is doing more now than she was when she lived in her own home. They fully understand mums needs and medications, and always help with any queries or concerns I may have. I have told so many people about that outstanding care and facilities. I know my mum is proud to call Cedar Mews her home

My mother is so happy in her new home.
She absolutely loves it and is enjoying all the attention she is getting. The food is superb - a top class chef. Everyone here is lovely and so welcoming to me too. I wish I could move in!

The staff can't do enough for my mother. They are all so caring not only the care staff but also all of the management, staff have obviously been cherry picked. Fantastic and tasteful décor.

My husband and I have just spent one week in respite at the above home. I have just had a knee replacement and my husband has dementia. The care we have been given has been wonderful. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. This is a very happy place. I cannot give them enough praise! If needed I would certainly come back here. Five star all the way.

My sister has Parkinson's disease which made living alone increasingly difficult, but she wanted to retain her independence for as long as possible. So, when she did eventually move to Cedar Mews, a new home just opening, we were anxious about how she would settle. We need not have worried as all the staff made great efforts to make her feel welcome and throughout the home, there is a pleasant atmosphere of care and consideration. I have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities and, although the number of residents is destined to increase, I believe that the high standard of care that my sister has experienced so far will be mentioned.

My grandad went in for a weeks respite. The care he received was exceptional. Nothing he asked for was to much trouble. They even wrapped him up and took him out to the bookies. As this was something he always used to do when he was able to. The staff, the home, the food everything about Cedar Mews is excellent, warm and welcoming. Well done guys, grandad has already told us he's coming back for a "holiday" again soon.
