Hadleigh Nursing Home

My father has been a resident at this care home for nearly two years. Sadly, he has Alzheimer's disease, and before finding this home we tried several others where he never truly settled.

The care provided here is outstanding. The staff are kind, patient and genuinely caring, always treating my father with dignity and understanding. Knowing he is safe, happy and well looked after gives our family enormous peace of mind.

We also enjoy seeing the activities residents take part in and keeping up with them through the home's social media updates.

A special memory was when I ran the London Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer's causes. The team organised a "Marathon Day" for my father, helping him feel involved in both the run and fundraising. It was a thoughtful gesture that went far beyond our expectations

My mum has been living here for five months and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. She has dementia and is sadly deteriorating, but every member of staff treats her with kindness, patience and genuine compassion.

The care is excellent, the food is good, and it's clear that everyone, from the carers to the maintenance team, truly cares about the residents. I am always made to feel welcome whenever I visit, which gives me great reassurance.

A good standard of care is given everyday with friendly and helpful staff with lots of activities for residents to join in with or stay in comfort in own clean rooms .Always helpful staff around when visiting which is a comfort for relatives

My father-in-law has been a resident here since February. It was a difficult decision to move him to a home as he was still very mobile but his dementia was deteriorating. After visiting Hadleigh Nursing Home for the first time, it was evident immediately how warm & friendly Hadleigh was & how well staff were interacting with residents. My father-in-law is very happy here. There is always a varied programme of activities happening & the staff go out of their way to ensure those residents who may not be very mobile are included wherever possible. The grounds are lovely with a secure garden at the rear. The staff do their very best to get residents outside in the garden if it is possible. There are separate lounges on each floor away from the main lounge, conservatory & dining room. All staff take a genuine interest in residents, taking the time to get to know them their hobbies, interests & memories. The food always looks lovely & the menu changes regularly.

I am very happy with the kind, attentive care my mother continues to receive from all the staff since moving to Hadleigh Nursing Home over two years ago. A very nice home with a lovely garden located in peaceful surroundings in the Suffolk countryside. Excellent nursing and care facilities and a very hard working activities team ensure that all the residents are well looked after, whatever their needs.

Mum went to Hadleigh Hall in November 2024 after an admission to hospital and was unable to go back home. From the time of her arriving at the home, Mum has had excellent care from all the staff and management. Tracy (Now manager)has supported me when I have had wobbles re Mums frail condition , and to me it spells volumes that we didn't expect Mum to be there long and she is still enjoying life as much as she can eighteen months on. If we have concerned we can speak to the staff and they do their best to sort it out. I love visiting Mum and both myself and brother always feel welcome when we are there.

A beautiful home in a quiet location for those that need extra support looking after loved ones.

All staff are friendly and attentive and regularly communicate any issues or concerns and play a key role in making Hadleigh Nursing home a home from home.

The Nursing Staff were very knowledgeable and supportive to both my Mother and myself.

We are also grateful that the home was able to handle his end-of-life care, fulfilling his wish not to die in hospital. His final week was challenging, due to his failing heath but all his issues and problems were resolved quickly, with professionalism and always good humour.

This home provides outstanding care for its residents and their relatives. The staff are always willing and radiate love and compassion. The care is exemplary, and the nursing home has an aura of calmness and kindness. I consider myself extremely fortunate in finding such a wonderful home for my elderly mother, who had alzheimers disease. The home is situated in a very tranquil setting.

We needed a home for my Father who was deteriorating quickly with Alzheimer's, we tried him at another home however he would not settle and struggled with the interaction with the home staff. We then moved him to Hadleigh Nursing Home, where the style of the home and also the grounds made him feel immediately at home. He settled very quickly in the routine and the staff were excellent in accommodating his needs and especially in the early stages adjust him into his new environment. Over time the home has encouraged him to be more involved in the activities at the home. In addition the extra events such as the petting zoo, Christmas fare make is much easier for us to visit with the younger Grand Children.

I chose Hadleigh Nursing Home for my mother to recuperate after she broke her ankle. From the moment I contacted them, they couldn't have been more helpful. The house itself is attractive and is set in beautiful grounds - grounds that my mother has an excellent view of from her room. The staff couldn't be kinder or more helpful. She was warmly welcomed when she arrived, as are visitors who can drop in at any time.

I had to quickly find a home for my mother when she suffered a fall and fracture and could no longer live independently. I feel like I couldn't have chosen a better home if I had searched for months beforehand. The staff are caring and always happy to help, the food is very good and the well-kept gardens are delightful to stroll around. I appreciate being able to visit at any time, without notice, to this welcoming home from home.

I cannot thank you enough for all the trouble you are taking to make my husband comfortable and to meet his requests regarding food and nursing. I am so grateful. Visitors are always welcomed and he is always clean and tidy. Staff are kind and helpful. It offers a solution to the distressing problems of old age.

The gardens are beautiful and communal areas are light and bright, visitors are welcome at any time of day without needing to make a prior arrangement.

The home sits on beautiful grounds adding to the sense of peace, tranquillity and security. Hadleigh Hall is a lovely home.

Mum is very happy here. The staff are kind and cheerful and Mum feels very at home. She enjoys the menu very much and adores her light and airy bedroom. The whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming which has helped Mum settle into her new surroundings.

I like to spend as much time as possible with my husband and I have been made very welcome. It is comforting to know that when I am not there, my husband is being well cared for. I'm very grateful to everyone. Thank you so much.

We thought the effort to invite in family for mothers day and the thought involved was brilliant.
