Marigold Nursing Home

The home was recommended by our social worker - I did internet research and asked people about it and all I heard was good things. I visited without arrangement and felt comfortable and welcomed from the start. I was given a tour and was impressed at the cleanliness of the home the well-decorated rooms - all with natural light and en-suite and colourful corridors and communal areas. Staff were welcoming and friendly and looked happy to be at work. I returned unarranged again with my father and given the tour again. It was perfect and I really thought from the first visit, that my mum would feel at home here and it would cater for her needs (moderate/severe dementia). It is designed with dementia research at the fore. Family meetings occur on a monthly basis and management are open to feedback and promote it as a home for the entire family, not just the resident. My mum has only been in there a few days but we are very happy with the care and support shown to her and our family.

The home is of a very good standard, very clean and fresh in decoration. The staff are very friendly and the food is great - tried myself.

This care home has been recently renovated and to a high standard. The rooms are nice and the communal spaces are bright and modern with wall art which stimulates the resident's memories. The staff are all friendly and kind to the residents and family members are made very welcome. The manager is a credit to the home and he ensures it runs smoothly.

Marigold Nursing Home is an excellent resource within our local community. Standards within the home are extremely high and staff well trained and caring. Each member is dedicated to ensuring residents retain dignity are respected and nursed/supported to the best of their ability and take pride in their caring. The rooms are immaculate and the home itself is warm and welcoming. Staff are professional and friendly and knowledgeable about each resident individually. I am thrilled my friend is being properly cared for at last.

The manager is excellent also knowing each resident.

Since my aunt has moved into Marigold Nursing Home she is very content and has been exceptionally cared for. The staff are so friendly and helpful in every way. My cousin is so much more relaxed and happy now knowing her mam is being looked after so well.

Can't fault the service, happy and friendly staff and a home from home. Since my Mam moved in she is a lot more settled with activities everyday and family are treated really well by all the staff and management and we are always invited to all special days and parties.

After many months of trying to care for my mother with help from the rest of the family, we had to give in and look for a care home. We looked at a few because we only wanted the best for her and we came across the newly reopened Marigold Nursing Home. We visited a few times and every time we were greeted with lovely friendly staff and happy residents, we decided to make it my mams home. Now she is all settled we feel much more at ease leaving her. The home itself is like one big family. All staff know who you are and welcome anytime. We are made to feel at home as well as my mam, for example, we can make drinks etc just like we would if mam was in her own house. I would highly recommend Marigold Nursing Home to anyone who is thinking about needing full-time care for their loved one and like us were unsure but please have a look at this care home. Management and all staff are there to help you with anything.

My mother has excellent care at Marigold Nursing Home. I have no worries about leaving her in their care. She is treated with dignity and her needs are put first. The staff are excellent. They are gentle and caring over and above their duties.

This is the first time I have had any involvement with a care home and I am so pleased that my sister is being looked after here. The care is excellent and I have no worries at all.

I found the staff very supportive of their clients, well looked after they are at there back and call. Rooms lovely kept spotlessly clean, clients kept lovely and clean would recommend this home. I look forward to coming here, the staff always keep me informed about my neighbour and I know he is in good hands and don't worry about him half as much as I used to.

After long deliberation and searching a difficult decision was made easy when we found Marigold Nursing Home. Every member of staff is friendly caring and professional. I trust the manager completely and can rest assured that a beloved mother-in-law is now in good hands being cared for with the dignity she deserves.

His room is always kept pristine and tidy. He enjoys all of his meals, the team look after his personal hygiene and prompt him with his medication as well as keeping me informed with all happening with regards to my brother.

I am really impressed with Marigold Nursing Home with the very high standards of care given to residents The staff are very helpful and caring and committed to all residents. My brother-in-law enjoys all meals served to him. I would recommend Marigold to anyone who needs to put any family into 24-hour care.

My first impressions were of a welcoming and homely environment with pleasant surroundings. Friendly staff and that made me, as a relative, feel important and valued. I am happy that my Father in Law is in capable hands.

Cannot fault The Marigold, it is a lovely nursing home, staff are wonderful and very caring, from care assistants right up to Nurse Manager. Rooms are cosy and comfy. Dining rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. Food and drinks cannot be beaten. All in all, a truly lovely "home from home".

Management and staff have been very helpful at, what at times, has been a very difficult transition from hospital to a home.
