All of the staff and management were extremely kind and helpful. They treated Dad with respect and dignity throughout and spent time with him helping to feed him. They were always making sure he had enough to drink and catered for his needs. They always offered us tea when we visited and always told us what Dad has been doing and how he had reacted. On the day my dad passed away all of the staff were so kind and caring.

Mum initially went into respite care in December 2019. However, dementia diagnoses and now in the dementia unit, the care and support received from High Meadows have been excellent - the team are mindful of not only treating my mum with respect but me too. Lockdown has been exceptionally difficult, but I am confident all that could have been done, has been done.

Under the present ongoing circumstances with no access to the home for many months, it is difficult to give my views. Having only 2 or 3 external visits lately my answers can only be based on what my wife tells me. I can see when visiting that she is happy and contented and pleased with the staff.

Care is good. We've got carers who are helpful, caring, kind and sympathetic. I can't find any fault at all. Good attendance. Very good service.

Since arriving at the care home I have been well looked after with kindness. I've also been encouraged to mix with other residents and join in with any activities. It was strange at first but we got used to it. Medical needs are kept an eye on.

After my wife died 2 years ago, my family decided that I should not look after myself and recommended me to move to High Meadows. Since moving here I have felt very much at home, and the prospect of spending the rest of my life here is the best future I can imagine.

In these worrying times, High Meadows has been very good at keeping us informed and video call to our mum. She is always happy with her care and when she has an issue she is happy to raise her concerns. We are fortunate to be able to visit (pre-COVID) weekly so spent much time in High Meadows.

The managers is a warm, kind and welcoming person, she is an excellent manager and really tries to help settle elderly people into High Meadows.

The staff are kind, friendly and efficient. It is a clean, smart, casual home and does give the feeling one is in their own home rather than a care institution. Also, one member of staff is very efficient and a hard-working nurser. My friend is very happy in High Meadows.

A beautiful care home - more like a hotel! Mum had 2 weeks respite here and was treated with the utmost respect by all staff. The care she received was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and staff carry out their duties with concern for the residents as well as always smiling! The support they gave us as a family was also invaluable and very much appreciated.

I find this care home efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. In fact, I feel and so do all my relatives and friends that I could not have chosen better. The only thing I lack is a landline number but I believe this is in hand.

I was very comfortable and very well looked after at High Meadows for respite care after a hip replacement operation. The food was lovely, the staff pleasant, polite and encouraging and I recovered more quickly than I had expected to.

We immediately liked the home when we first walked in. It is much roomier than most and we were impressed by the manager. Care of my father has been excellent. The staff identified a chest infection before we or my father had picked up on it and as a result, he was being treated at least 24 hours earlier. My father is very happy there and considers the care and facilities to be excellent. Perhaps the cost is a little more expensive than some others in the area. But we consider it to be well worth it.
