Whenever we have raised specific issues or points in relation to our mother, the care home staff have been both helpful and very accommodating. This has been very important during these first weeks of residence for our mother.
Further to this, and most importantly, the positive change for our mother since she has been in residence has been so clear and obvious for all her family and visitors to see. Having said for many years that she would not wish to go into a care home, having lived independently for a long time, our mother within a few days decided that she was so happy and secure with her new environment that she wanted to stay long-term.
Elton House is a lovely home. Staff are very pleasant. A couple of times I have been here when breakfast has arrived and it has been colde. On the whole, no real problems.
