We have been very impressed with Signature Wandsworth. My mother is recovering from a fall and had not had the best experience in an NHS ward.
The staff here are wonderful and friendly. The food so far has been very good.
We are so relieved to get her into somewhere she can actually recover rather than fester as she was in the care of the NHS.
She is encouraged to get moving independently again and also to join in the social activities - which after the loneliness of the lockdown stuff, is a great benefit to mental well-being. There is a great choice of things for people to join in with.
They also are very welcoming to visitors.

It feels like a nice hotel for recovery for her and has definitely brought a sparkle back to her eyes - would like to say a spring in her step, but that may take a few more weeks of recovery.

Thank you for such a glowing review. I saw your mum coming out of the hairdresser earlier looking fabulous, and we all hope to see that spring in her step!

I have been extremely impressed with the facility so far. The staff are all polite and seem to genuinely care about the tenants. The home is very tastefully decorated and feels more like a five-star hotel than a care home.

My father-in-law moved into this home after a long period in hospital, and not only have they performed miracles with his health, but they also made it a very pleasant stay for him. They were always available for his needs and made him feel at home.
The kindness of the personnel is above any standard I have ever seen, and the quality of the facilities is amazing.
Very good food every day, and loads of activities to watch or even participate in.

It will sound too much, but simply everything is excellent.

I just wanted to drop you and the splendid Signature team a quick note to say thank you.
In the short time that you helped us look after Mum, it was clear from the start that care and compassion were at the heart of what you all do.
Every single person, from the team on the front desk through to the entertainment team, showed enormous sensitivity and tenderness towards Mum, which was a joy to see.
I wanted to thank them all as we left today, but I’m afraid the event rather overwhelmed me.
Please do pass on my family’s thanks to each and every person that played a part in making my Mum’s last few months with us a little happier.

Simply a fantastic team.

I came here on a short visit as had a broken my wrist. I spent nearly three weeks at Signature. It was a pleasant stay, and found staff very friendly and helpful. One staff member, in particular, knew answers to most questions I asked her, very helpful, 10/10. Another staff member also concealed very good driving and always got me to my hospital appointments on time, 10/10. Excellent activities. Alwats plenty to keep me occupied 7-days a week at Signature - really excellent care home. Everybody very friendly - sorry to say goodbye when it was time to leave.

My father moved into Signature following 6-weeks in hospital with a very bleak life expectancy. Fast forward 10-weeks of my father residing at Signature, with the excellent care and support of the care team and management staff, my father is now in much-improved health and general life motivation, so much so that everyone is preparing for him to come home in a few weeks and live with my mother again.
Moving anyone you love into a care/nursing home can be a time full of stress and emotion, Signature made the process as smooth, friendly and professional as possible from the first phone call, through to today... even assisting my mother and I to set up a care package with an independent at-home care company.

The care team and management staff always have time for the residents and always find time to check that the family are ok and to update us with father’s status. Every fine detail is considered to ensure the resident's health and wellbeing is being looked after. Highly recommend.

In December 2021, I visited Signature at Wandsworth Common as I was trying to arrange respite care so that my client could be discharged from the hospital. I was extremely impressed when I first visited Signature just before Christmas, and my client was discharged to Signature on Christmas Eve.
After four weeks of respite care, that initial impression has been confirmed, and we have just completed a move from respite care to a permanent room as my client has for now decided to reside permanently at Signature. The management at Signature has been superb from the very outset. They have been totally professional and assisted every step of the way.

The care my client has received is second to none, the food is exceptional, and the all-round ambience is more like a five-star hotel than a care home. Signature is quite simply the best care home I have seen in over 30-years of practice as a lawyer, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

My mum moved in last month, having lived by herself in her own home for some 40-years. A few weeks later, and Mum is transformed; she is loving the experience of being a resident in Signature at Wandsworth. She has got all of her furniture and possessions in her lovely room, which makes it feel like her home. The staff are all absolutely delightful, filled with compassion and professionalism, and nothing is too much trouble. She has been getting involved in some of the activities, and she is enjoying the company she now has with the staff and other residents. What is lovely is that you really can choose how you want to live your life in this home, how much time you want to spend in your room and how many of the activities you want to participate in. The food is wonderful. I can't begin to say how wonderful this new life is proving to be for my mum, and for me, as all the worries I had when she was living alone are now gone. Thank you so much to all of the team; you are wonderful!

My mum stayed at Signature after she was discharged from hospital as I wanted her to be well looked after for a few weeks. Signature exceeded all my expectations in their care for my mum. The carers are exceptional; the food is exquisite, and the entertainment is wonderful. My mum loves it so much that she does not want to leave! I do not need to worry about my mum at all while she is at Signature. If heaven has a care home, this would be it.

The residents best interests are put first not financial gain. To my knowledge, this care home is unique in letting resident bring their own furniture and allowing them to be as independent as they wish provided it is safe for them to do so.

My mother’s move to Signature went very smoothly. I was really pleased with the speed with which all the arrangements were made. I now have peace of mind that my mother is well cared for by a team of attentive and kind people, and that there are medically qualified staff on site. The highlights for my mother are three delicious meals a day, a good range of activities, including pampering hand massages, and especially one-to-one time with carers. The reception staff are lovely.

I came in for respite for two weeks. My time at Signature was a huge success, and within days, I was feeling refreshed and happier. The staff were all lovely to me. I will be returning after my planned surgery for further help and physiotherapy. Did not do much of the activities as I played Bridge online most afternoons.

My main complaint is that I slept badly. The pillow on the first night was like a brick. I got my own from home. I am used to a king bed, so am anxious about falling out of bed after my knee replacement. A larger bed next time would be very much appreciated.

All of the staff at Signature Wandsworth have made our family feel very welcome as we have adjusted to my father moving into their care. In particular, they have gone to great lengths to help my father to settle in and feel at home and have made sure that his personal interests are accommodated and made sure that company is always available. They have also accommodated his dietary requirements, and he looks forward to each meal, which is of a very high standard. In the short time (2-weeks) he has been at Signature, he has thrived. He is more alert, engaged, and most importantly, enjoying life again. Thank you.

Signature at Wandsworth is an amazing place.
My father has been a resident for close to two months now, and he is absolutely thriving!
The care staff and management team have been outstanding, every step of the way.

I moved my father from his own home in February as he no longer knew where he was and was potentially was not safe from Covid.

It proved to be the correct decision as I now know my father is safe and looked after by the wonderful staff and carers at Signature at Wandsworth. I don't think he could be anywhere better, and as I am his son, it makes me feel much better feeling this way.

As a family, we are very pleased with the way Signature is looking after my wife. They quickly sorted out her medication, which prior to her moving in was causing her all sorts of problems and distress. Her overall problem is dementia, but here again, we are pleased with the way the dementia team are handling the problem. Their management experience and caring make sure she engages with other residents and is helped in the daily activity programme. The people working at the home, no matter in what capacity, create a welcoming and happy atmosphere. The facilities and furnishings are incredible, and the general layout has been planned to give its residents a wide choice in terms of activity or relaxation. Finally, the dining room is five stars, with a cuisine that is mouth-watering.

I started my journey in to care six years ago when I joined as a care assistant. I loved my role there and put my heart and soul into ensuring the residents were happy and enjoyed the quality of life they deserved. I was then promoted to lead carer with the responsibility of a team of 14 carers, which I continued to do for the next four years.

I would drive past Wandsworth Common every day on my way to work and thought maybe one day I may end up working there as it was closer to home. When they opened I applied as a care supervisor and was overjoyed to get the role as many people had applied. Six months later I was promoted to my current role as residential care manager and I’m loving every minute! I have a fabulous and very experienced care team around me and I also feel very supported from the management team in the home who are always go that extra mile to help and get involved. I am the type of person who will roll up my sleeves and help wherever I’m needed and knowing that all my residents are well looked after gives me a massive sense of satisfaction.

I feel extremely proud and honoured to work in such a beautiful home with a friendly atmosphere and great people.

Out of work I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have three children who have all grown up now and have their own families of which I am very proud. I also have two beautiful granddaughters, one 10 years old and one of 8 months, my family are the most important things in my life. Outside of work I love meeting with friends over a glass or two of bubbly as the perfect way to relax!
