Overall Experience

My wife enjoyed her stay at Grosvenor Manor. Her room was very comfortable and well provided as were the lounges and dining room. She said that the food was 'ok' the staff were very attentive and supportive, save for one male who insisted on calling her a nickname instead of her name. She was annoyed by this and I shared her view that he was disrespectful. I hope this will be drawn to his attention.

Overall Experience
After viewing most care facilities in the area, Grosvenor Manor was the most appropriate for Mum's needs.
The facilities are excellent and the staff very supportive.
Mum tells everyone how nice the food is and is now eating properly. The nursing staff are on site and respond to her complex needs well.

Family are always welcome and all are treated with respect and courtesy.

Anne
Anne Job Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2020

I’ve worked as a nurse for over 40 years in a variety of roles. I thoroughly enjoy working in care homes. As a nurse, you can build relationships with the people you’re caring for and their families in a way that’s just not possible in a hospital setting where people come and go. I love the fact that we’re making a big difference to people’s lives, and we get to see the evidence of that. It’s a privilege to be working for an excellent provider in Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, Lovett Care. I’m passionate about delivering high-quality care to each resident and supporting the staff in their careers within the healthcare sector.

Maria
Maria Job Title:Clinical LeadJoined: 2018

I am responsible and accountable for the management of the clinical area in the home. Establishing the timely provision of care by ensuring that effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care is done to a high standard. Ensure that the home’s policies and procedures are followed, in accordance with relevant legislation, to meet residents’ needs in a person-centred way. Assisting the Home Manager with day-to-day management of the home, ensuring New Care’s now Lovett Care continues compliance with relevant legislation. I have always had a passion for delivering high standards of care. For my new role, the main aspirations are centred around skill enhancement and constant growth to deliver the very best person-centred care. I am ready for new challenges and would like to improve my management skills in order to achieve my full potential. In the future, I see myself taking on more challenges at a higher level of leadership. Evolve my skills in a challenging environment, work within a team, and provide efficient solutions.

Louise
Louise Job Title:Head of Care

I have 35 years of experience working in care. My background is in nursing care, working in Hospitals and also Nursing homes. I worked as a Clinical Support worker for the NHS, and following this, I managed a Complex care unit where I also trained and taught staff how to care for tracheostomy and ventilator care with spinal injuries and acute brain injuries. I have worked for New Care at Grosvenor Manor since 2020, and I can honestly say this is where I have learnt and seen patient-centred care that is given to the highest standards. I am excited to now be able to join the management team at Grosvenor Manor as Head of Care to support our Home Manager, our excellent wellbeing team and our dedicated teams of care staff and Team Leaders. I am proud to be the Head of Care at Grosvenor Manor and to now be part of the management structure of such an amazing team. I am a caring and compassionate, hardworking person and totally dedicated to providing excellent care to all residents.
