Cavendish Park Care Home

My father has now returned to his own home, having stayed at Cavendish Park on a temporary basis, but should the need arise I would be happy for him to return permanently .

As an ex sales and marketing director of a very large company, I truly can state that I find this establishment faultless. Before choosing Cavendish Park, I carried out the necessary research. There were many common aspects of other care homes, but the outstanding feature is that of the quality, application, follow up visits and genuine concern of the carers. This service of quality is down to the productive involvement of management.

My dad has one day a week at Cavendish Park, and it has made such a difference, not just for my dad but my mother also. The respite day has given my parents such a life; Dad's care is excellent from start to finish. The staff are so warm and welcoming, so professional and thoughtful. The food is wonderful and varied, they bathe Dad, and the chiropodist cuts his nails. The entertainment is great too. I could not fault any aspect of this setup.

Cavendish Park is a beautiful place for my mum, she has a lovely room with a patio, but most of all, she is so well looked after by the friendly, capable staff. Thank you.

The care in the home is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble and all delivered with a smile from all of the staff. The food is beautifully presented with lots of colour and texture. The menu is extensive and caters for all tastes. The home is a delight to walk into and a joy to walk around. A pleasure to call home and a pleasure to visit.

My husband has started attending one day per week to give me a break. He is very happy about going. The staff have made him very welcome. They bath him which he can't have at home or even a shower, so that is a luxury. The food is very enjoyable. He has a chance to speak to other people. I am able to have a full day to myself, which has helped me so much. I know he is looked after and cared for, which helps me to live a normal day. Thank you.

I moved my father back to the UK from Germany and the staff were very supportive throughout the whole process. The care home is very much like a 5-star hotel experience with 24-hour care which is a perfect setting for my father. With all of the facilities and activities available, my father is already showing a considerable improvement with his memory.

My mother moved into Cavendish Park from another care home following a one month hospital stay. I can only describe the support and care she has received as outstanding. Having experienced care elsewhere, Cavendish Park really is on another level. Every single member of staff have been outstanding towards my mum during very difficult circumstances. This comes from the absolutely outstanding leadership provided by the management team. I cannot thank everyone enough.

Leaving your home and going into care is such a hard decision, not only for the person concerned but also for their family and friends. Therefore finding the right home is key. With others, I was looking for a home for a friend, such a huge responsibility. From the moment you enter Cavendish Park, you realise you are somewhere special. The decor is beautiful, which is certainly a bonus, but I needed to know that my friend would receive the best care available, that he would be safe and that he would be treated with dignity and respect. All of the staff, whatever their role, are very friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. I visit frequently and from what I see and hear, the whole team provide high-quality care and they have created a happy and supportive family atmosphere, not only for the residents but also for their family and friends.

The management and staff have made my friend's time here very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. It has such a friendly atmosphere. It is like a home from home.

Staff are very polite, helpful and caring. The manager was very efficient and patient while we were initially shown around. My friend has settled very well due to all the support he has received. Food is superb. Nothing is too much trouble to the carers. Activities are varied and all are included. It feels like home for my friend and myself on visits.

My Mum is very happy, treated with kindness, dignity and a smile. This is a standard the rest of the industry needs to aspire to. 10/10 for my Mum and me.

Attention to detail is outstanding, staff are well trained and extremely helpful and lovely to our mum. She has been surrounded by good feeling and consideration from the minute she came through the door. Cavendish Park is quality in every way and the staff and volunteers make it a lovely home for our mum.

All staff from every department are very welcoming and all willing to go out of their way to support my wife and family with all aspects of care.

Moving relatives to a new care home is stressful enough without worrying you are making the right decision. Having emotional and professional support from the manager, staff and customer relations manager at Cavendish Park made this move so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble. Activities are varied and happen a lot which keeps everyone stimulated and happy. I would recommend Cavendish Park to anyone.
