Walberton Place Care home is luxurious and beautifully furnished whilst retaining a warm family atmosphere, with highly trained staff available to get to know residents individually offering the highest standards of care.

The home has 80 en-suite bedrooms, each tastefully decorated and with its own walk-in wet room. There are fully-equipped assisted bathrooms on each floor.

The ground floor has spacious lounges and dining areas for residents to dine and relax overlooking the enclosed courtyard garden, the home has extensive landscaped gardens for residents to enjoy overlooking surrounding fields and countryside.

Walberton Place features the 'Elegance' hairdressing salon, its own cinema room, bistro café and 'Horse & Jockey' pub. Visitors can join residents for coffee and cake in the Honey Pot café. The home has a dedicated activities team providing a daily activities schedule and minibus trips out of the home.

Well-being and activity coordinators ensure that residents enjoy a full range of meaningful activities. Group activities such as games, light exercise, crafts, gardening or singing provide an opportunity to socialise, with other activities available on a one-to-one basis.

Visits from community groups are encouraged to build links with the local area and enable residents to continue their hobbies and interests.

Meals are cooked on-site by a highly trained chef with ingredients sourced from the local area.

Residents will have a daily choice of meals with all dietary requirements catered for. Luxury dining will be provided on a daily basis and served by the dedicated front of house waiting staff. Tea, coffee, and drinks will be provided for residents throughout the day.

I needed a care home for my father, who was starting to suffer from dementia, when I found the website for Walberton Place. From this point on, I cannot express my thanks enough to the entire Walberton Place Team. My father loved the home when we first went around it, and my mother (with no additional
care needs) decided that she also wanted to move in. They were both hugely happy there, I simply couldn’t have found a more loving home for them. The non-stop care, attention and compassion given to my father in his final days was outstanding. The support given to my mother by the home at this time was equally impressive, bearing in mind that this happened when the family was unable to visit. The home has remained COVID-19 free and this is, I am sure, due to the meticulous attention to every tiny detail of healthcare which the nursing staff give to residents. If you are looking for a caring, loving home for anyone on your family, look no further than Walberton Place!

Walberton Place has to be one of the best care homes around. I chose to stay there to prepare for, and recover from, a very important surgical procedure. I was so glad I did because I needed help to look after myself and Walberton did all the looking after that I needed. All the staff were my friends
and were so helpful when needed. I wouldn't have been in the position I'm in now were it not for my stay there. I consider my life has been enriched by both staff, and indeed, fellow residents.

Amazing care home. The home itself is beautiful and well thought out for all residents' needs. The care staff are lovely and have a lot of time for the residents/relatives and friends. They are always doing activities with the residents and family and visitors can join in as well. The food is lovely
and if my Grandad wants something else to eat, then they are more than happy to accommodate. From the first phone call to the home to moving my Grandad, it was done with care and communication without any problems. All staff have met my Grandad's needs and it’s so nice to see him so happy and settled.

First impressions are very positive. The home is new and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Visitors are made very welcome and the service user has made very encouraging remarks about all aspects of her care.
Members of staff spoken to all seem very professional and interact well
with the residents.
Difficult to comment on certain aspects as the home is just filling up and only one visit made.

It is always a pleasure visiting my uncle at Walberton Place. He always looks well cared for. The home is beautifully maintained. The staff are kind and considerate. More importantly, my uncle has been encouraged to engage with a wide range of activities which has given him a new lease of life.

My mother has just moved into this care home and was always going to be extremely difficult as she has dementia. The home has dealt with her brilliantly. The home is brand new, very plush and clean. The care seems to be excellent with my very difficult mother.

My Uncle has been at Walberton Place for a couple of months now and I can see a marked improvement. He is losing weight (which he needs to do). His personal grooming is first-rate and he is joining in with the activities. The staff are amazing, treating each and every resident with the care and attention

A beautiful home in a beautiful setting.
Wonderful, lovely, warm, caring staff who were so kind and gentle looking after mum.
They encourage her to be involved and participate, which is not something she would normally do.

I cannot praise enough the work done at Walberton Place to ensure my Grandma has been so happy.
She loves the food and the company, went on a trip to the seaside which she talked about for days after.
This is the next generation in care homes and more are needed.

My father moved into Walberton Place in early June due to a deterioration in his mental health. This was very traumatic for him and his family as he was very happy in his previous home. The transition could not have been easier due to the care and attention from staff. He is now extremely settled and
happy and living life to the full with all the outings and activities. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
