Walberton Place Care home is luxurious and beautifully furnished whilst retaining a warm family atmosphere, with highly trained staff available to get to know residents individually offering the highest standards of care.

The home has 80 en-suite bedrooms, each tastefully decorated and with its own walk-in wet room. There are fully-equipped assisted bathrooms on each floor.

The ground floor has spacious lounges and dining areas for residents to dine and relax overlooking the enclosed courtyard garden, the home has extensive landscaped gardens for residents to enjoy overlooking surrounding fields and countryside.

Walberton Place features the 'Elegance' hairdressing salon, its own cinema room, bistro café and 'Horse & Jockey' pub. Visitors can join residents for coffee and cake in the Honey Pot café. The home has a dedicated activities team providing a daily activities schedule and minibus trips out of the home.

Well-being and activity coordinators ensure that residents enjoy a full range of meaningful activities. Group activities such as games, light exercise, crafts, gardening or singing provide an opportunity to socialise, with other activities available on a one-to-one basis.

Visits from community groups are encouraged to build links with the local area and enable residents to continue their hobbies and interests.

Meals are cooked on-site by a highly trained chef with ingredients sourced from the local area.

Residents will have a daily choice of meals with all dietary requirements catered for. Luxury dining will be provided on a daily basis and served by the dedicated front of house waiting staff. Tea, coffee, and drinks will be provided for residents throughout the day.

This is the most amazing place I have ever encountered.

My mother has previously lived in 2 previous care homes. The difference is remarkable. Walberton Place is like a beautiful 5-star hotel. It is clean, spacious and luxurious. In no way does it look like a care home. The interior design is exceptional. The staff go out of their way to be kind and helpful.
You would expect to get better food if you were eating in a top restaurant.

I was speechless when I first looked around Walberton Place. If it is was a boutique hotel it couldn't have been furnished any more beautifully. The managers have been amazingly kind and attentive to my mum and myself. They have done everything humanly possible to ensure mum has settled in happily.
The food is outstanding with the chef coming into the beautiful dining room to make sure residents are happy. The standards are exceptional!!

We are delighted with my mum's care at Walberton Place. All the staff are so welcoming and caring that she settled in straight away and seems really happy and relaxed. Her room and the surroundings are beautiful and kept spotlessly clean. The quality and presentation of meals is really good and has
helped mum regain an interest in eating. All the staff are very attentive and supportive, I really do feel that mum is being looked after like one of the family.

From the moment my family and I showed an interest in this care home for our mum nothing has been too much trouble and every decision and question has been dealt with in a professional and caring way. The level of care across the board was outstanding and even though our mum lost her fight we were so

I have been in Walberton Place since day 1.
I wasn't feeling too good at the start as I had been in hospital after a fall.
After a few days, I soon began to feel at home as all the carers and the building and my room are wonderful.
I really would not change anything at this moment in time.
I am
very happy, I have made friends and I am being well looked after.

Beautiful setting, immaculate throughout, every box ticked for the welfare, care and dignity of my mum who needs more care for her ongoing years. The management and staff are kind and place quality and care exceptionally high. Family and friends visiting are made so welcome, nothing is too much trouble.
They are professional in every way, you know mum is in safe secure hands, five star, just like being in a hotel on holiday with all the extras. So lovely my family feel they could holiday there. What more can I say?

Marc has been a chef for over 25 years. He is classically trained in French cuisine but has adapted to more of an international style. Marc loves to cook as seasonal as possible using fresh food and local suppliers.


He has worked at Walberton for about 3 years. Marc has a great kitchen team here at Walberton place and enjoys the challenges that every day brings.
