Obviously it's very new premises so up-to-date, clean and good facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Visitors welcome and also accommodated for. Drinks and food are very good and again the staff are extremely helpful when serving etc.

Mum is only in for short respite and although didn't want to come she settled quickly. The staff have been lovely. I have asked mum to be prompted on some aspects of her own care and this has been carried out. Although mum wants to go back to her home she has been happy while on holiday at Handley.

Every time I come and see grandad he is happy and content. In such a short period of time, he seemed to have made great bonds with the staff. The staff have always shown great care and always check if he is ok. The staff are always lovely to talk to and make myself, my daughter and dog feel welcome. Charlie is the Home manager at Handley House.

Lisa joined Ideal Carehomes as Regional Director in 2018. She has worked in the care sector for 23 years, starting as a personal carer and working her way up to senior management. Lisa has worked at regional level for the past five years, supporting homes across Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the Midlands, and before this she has a wealth of experience in managing residential and dementia care homes.
Lisa is passionate about care and enjoys supporting our Home Managers and staff teams to provide the very best care possible. Lisa works with our Yorkshire homes and she enjoys getting to know the residents and their families, finding out about interesting life stories. She welcomes feedback and suggestions and is always available to help with any queries.
