Mum loves it here! She's been here 18 months and right from the start after settling in a couple of weeks she considered it her forever home. She literally doesn't want to go back to her house! Never thought this would be. She gets on with all staff and residents but especially the activities members. Much effort goes into activities that suit each individual and she joins in with whatever she likes. Also medical intervention is always timely when required. Any down sides? Not really, only normal life stuff. Sandwiches could vary more but the cook is fantastic generally.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear your mum feels so happy and truly at home with us. It means a great deal to know she enjoys the activities, has built such lovely relationships, and that you value the care she receives. We also appreciate your feedback about the sandwiches and will certainly take it on board. Thank you for your kind words and continued support.
The staff do so many lovely activities and it is lovely seeing photos of what they are doing when I'm not visiting.
The staff are all a credit to the home. Thank you to you all x
Your feedback means a great deal to us, and we'll be sure to share your lovely comments with everyone. Thank you for your continued support.
The staff made a difficult time for us as a family so much easier by being so friendly, courteous and helpful . Thank you, we are very grateful.

The service is of a very high standard , staff are excellent not only with residents but family and guests. Cleanliness is also of a high standard. This home goes about treating residents in a great manner, always have different things going on and special event regularly including residents families. I could not wish for a better home for my dad whilst dealing with dementia. The moment you walk in you are greeted and made to feel welcome by all staff . Would recommend for any loved ones , I can not thank all the staff enough great care they give daily .

The support she received, especially in her final days, meant a great deal to our family, and gave us comfort during a very difficult time. The staff always treated her with warmth and dignity and we truly appreciated the patience and understanding they showed throughout
A special thankyou for helping make her passing as peaceful as possible

Particularly impressed by the trips out including boat trips and theatre and the varied entertainment from guests. Still potential to do more but good work so far.
"Thank you! We're passionate about combining modern care with creating a true sense of home and memorable experiences for our residents. We're always looking for ways to do even more, so your feedback is really encouraging."
I have been a resident here for more than 2 years now and I can say this home has came a long way. The food has elevated and the staff are very welcoming to make you feel like your at home. And the entertainment staff will always try get you involved in something to keep you occupied
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're delighted to hear that you've noticed how far the home has come over the past two years. It means a lot to us that you're enjoying the improved food, feel welcomed by our staff, and appreciate the efforts of our activities team...
My sister has been at five rivers since March 2025. She was really poorly on admission, so poorly, that she was officially diagnosed end of life by the hospital. However, with care and patience from the staff at five rivers, she's back to her old self, with no signs of dying before she's 150. My sister has learning disabilities and mobile difficulties, and can be demanding. The staff are very accommodating, and my sister has settled in perfectly. She phones me regularly, and doesn't complain about anything. She seems very happy. They also take her out for school visits, she's been on a narrow boat trip, and they have cinema afternoons etc
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this wonderful review. Your kind words about our staff, their care, and the activities we provide mean a great deal, and we're proud to support your sister to live such a full and enjoyable life.
Whenever I visited they were so friendly and accommodating, and can safely say they treated my Dad really well.
The facilities were welcoming and clean, with a bright feel. The room was of a decent size but the biggest thing was the human touch. They went above and beyond in accommodating my dads emotional needs where he was able to maintain time with his favourite companion, his dog.
I will forever be grateful for the support they gave in my Dad's time.
Thank you for your kind words. We were honoured to care for your father and truly appreciate your trust in us. His dog was very much part of our care home family and it was wonderful to care for them both. We wish you and your family all the very best.
She became more acutely unwell at the end of June, was admitted to hospital and ultimately, put on end of life care. Mum was given the opportunity to be admitted to the local hospice, but preferred to go back to the care home knowing she would be loved and supported, with her own things around her.
We were lucky that we got another 3, mostly good, months with mum before she passed away and during that time we were very well supported, as was mum. Staff continued to treat her with love, care and respect and extended that to us.
We visited daily but were still contacted immediately mum's condition changed so we were able to be with her at the end. Again the kindness, emotional support and love shown to mum and the family was more than we could have imagined.
We feel very privileged that mum went to Five Rivers and ended her days there when we could no longer support her growing needs at home.
We are deeply grateful that we could walk alongside your family...
The care and support extended to us as a family for which we are very grateful for.
Thank you for your service.
"Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We are truly grateful to hear that your father received care, kindness, and support during his last week, and that your family also felt supported throughout. It means a great deal to our team. Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share them."
I am pleased that my dad was at Five Rivers Living. From the first contact the staff were super. Its a nice environment, clean and tidy. Care of my dad was very good.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're so glad your dad was well cared for at Five Rivers Living.
My brother with dementia went into Five Rivers Living after being asked to leave his previous care home due to his behaviour, even though it was a highly rated dementia care home. After a few hiccups my brother settled in well, his behaviour became much better, and his general health improved, but most importantly, he was very happy there. This care home has a real family feel about it, the staff are brilliant and well led by management that are "hands on" and know the residents personally. I can't thank everyone enough for the memorable times I spent with my brother, and how happy he was.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful you entrusted us with your brother's care. It's heartening to know he felt happy and settled here-he was very much a part of our Five Rivers family. Your appreciation means a great deal to our whole team.
Where do I even begin my nana became a resident at 5 rivers due to declining health dementia and skin cancer she was beyond challenging and I'm in no doubt that the care she was given was above and beyond the staff and management treated her with love and care and respect even though she was so nasty and even violent at times they treated my grandad like family when he would visit and always looked after him when he was there I honestly do not think I could have chosen a better care home it's light and airy and modern always clean and food always looked good my nana sadly passed away due to her skin cancer and till the very end we would not have wanted anyone else to care for her every single member of staff I met along this journey I cannot thank them enough and will be forever greatful to them all
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. It was a privilege to care for your nana, and we're truly grateful for your trust during such a difficult time. Your kind message means the world to our team.
When my wife had to go into care, I had my doubts. But a year on, all my fears have gone thanks to all the love and care she is receiving, she is happy and contented. Everything about the home makes for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this home to anyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly glad to hear that your wife is happy and content in our care. It means a great deal to us to know that we've been able to ease your concerns and provide a home where she feels safe and supported. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated by all of us.
My husband has been here for a week and I am very happy with the care and everything here.

My husbands cousin has been treated with dignity and respect by the care staff who really do care about the residents. They are always up to date on what is happening.
Thank you for your kind words! We're so glad to hear that your husband's cousin has received respectful, caring treatment and that the staff stay up to date on everything. We truly appreciate your feedback!
Very happy with the care home. My uncle has very complex needs that take up a lot of time and understanding. The management keeps us updated and is open and honest with the needs required. They are supportive and try to implement different things to support his needs. They keep him safe at all times. The carers are kind and caring, and they are always interactive with the residents.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful for your trust in us. Supporting your uncle and ensuring he feels safe and cared for is a top priority, and it means a lot to hear that our team's efforts are making a difference. We'll be sure to share your lovely feedback with both the management and care staff.
Very happy with the care and support being given by the carers and the management at the care home. My uncle is a tricky resident who causes the home issues, however, they are dealing with him very well.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're really pleased to hear you're happy with the care and support your uncle is receiving. We understand he can be a challenge at times, but we're committed to providing resident, respectful, and consistent support. Your kind words mean a great deal to the whole team.
From my person experience I find this place clean, safe and reasonably equipped. The staff have always been welcoming polite and professional. Overall this is the best place that my father has stayed.
Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience and that your father feels safe and well cared for. Your feedback means a lot to our team, and we truly appreciate your support!
