Thank you to the customer relationship manager, staff and manager.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are happy that you and your husband are happy with the care received during his respite stays here.
My mother (90) became a resident in August 2024, we had been impressed with the home on our viewing - modern, clean, beautiful furnishings and decor but we quickly appreciated the team all working so well to provide full care for a challenging group of residents. It's never easy to move and have to say, we are very satisfied with the home, highly recommend!
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Mum has settled in so well to the home and it is a pleasure to have her living with us.
Such a lovely clean and friendly environment. Love coming here to visit my Grandma. She is clearly being looked after well. She's always in good spirits here and the staff are always really positive, patient and helpful. The rooms are lovely, there is a cafe area, nice gardens and lots of activities: choir, hair salon, karaoke etc.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are happy that you enjoy coming here and make use of all we have on offer. Your grandma is a pleasure to have living with us. Now time to think of the next song for Karaoke.
Okay for 13 days/nights respite but not for longer.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I am happy that you was pleased with the staff and care that you received. Coming into care for a respite stay is always a bit daunting especially when you have come from living in your own home. I am sorry that the food and activities were not to...
An excellent and well-presented care home. It is only spoilt by the quality of the food and poor presentation.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. it is a pleasure to have you living at the home and we welcome all feedback. we will look into the concerns raised. Kind regards, Corina.
I am very pleased with the way Mum is looked after. The staff are very attentive to her needs.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I will pass your feedback on to the team. It is a pleasure to look after your mum here at Baycroft Flitwick.
The home is okay, and the staff are nice. They try their best, and the activities are good but like most care homes they don't like spending money. The one thing I cannot understand about this home is the quality of the food they feed the residents, my dogs are fed better. I've witnessed sausage rolls, hot dogs and burgers that don't even look like meat. My Nan complains about the food regularly when we visit and I'm not surprised. They charge a lot of money and provide the lowest quality food I have ever seen. School dinners are Michelin star compared to here. Had a few issues with the cleanliness too but these have been addressed, apart from the strong smell of urine. They have also cut down on care since my Nan has been here, they no longer have a nursing team but the price is still the same or more! This is still a fairly new home so not in bad condition but it won't take long as they don't like spending money. If I could ask for anything it would be that they provide better quality food.
We appreciate your feedback and take your concerns very seriously. Our primary objective is to ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of our residents. We value transparency and strive to improve our services based on feedback. Regarding the deregistering of nursing care, we spoke with all the...
Baycroft Flitwick make everyone feel welcome to help the resident to settle, feel at home and have the highest quality of care. All staff go above and beyond to give an outstanding experience from personal care, food, socialising, etc. It really is a special place with wonderful overall service.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I will share your kind words with the team. It was a pleasure to look after your grandfather.
My Mother has been in Baycroft Flitwick since January 2024. The staff are all so lively and always talk to her. After a settling-in period, I now find that my queries and concerns are dealt with speedily and efficiently. A lady in particular is amazing and goes the extra mile. The activities ladies do such a brilliant job and include everyone who wants to join in. The facilities are brilliant, the garden if lovely to walk my Mum around. It feels friendly and comfortable. The food is great and the decor and cleanliness are also great.
Thank you for your review, I will pass your feedback on to the team. I'm so happy that your mother has settled in well and we are glad that she is part of the Baycroft Flitwick family.
The care home is so very clean, staff are wonderful, so caring and kind. Very helpful to the residents and family who visit. Don't think I have ever seen such a beautiful home. My relative is very happy there and has become more active and communicates more. I would have no hesitation in living there myself.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. I am so happy that your relative has settled in so well, and it's lovely to see her engaging with staff and residents. I will pass your feedback on to the teams.
We chose Baycroft because of the clean, spacious rooms, friendly and efficient staff and the wide range of activities. We were initially concerned when the previous owners sold the home but the new owners have made improvements and we are very happy with the care provided.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I will share your kind words with the team. It is a pleasure to look after your mother-in-law.
I am so grateful to Baycroft Flitwick Care Home for providing my mother with such a caring environment. She has settled into the home in a very short time thanks, in no small part, to the lovely staff who are, without exception, kind, efficient and professional. The activities are fun and engaging. My mother loves the food and is always keen to get to the dining room for each meal. All the staff know her name and talk to her, not me, when I accompany her which is how it should be. The rooms are lovely. Mym has a favourite lounge that is beautifully designed and a pleasure to sit in. I am so happy I found this home for her.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I will forward your kind words on to the team. It is a pleasure to look after your mother and I am pleased that she settled in so quickly.
Many thanks to all the team at Baycroft.

Baycroft is a lovely care home to be in. It has friendly and welcoming staff. My husband is very happy there. He is cared for extremely well, and nothing is ever too much trouble if you ask the staff. Activities are made fun and enjoyable in both morning and afternoon sessions.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review, we really appreciate your lovely comments. I am so glad you are happy with the care and support your husband is receiving.
Unfortunately, my dad passed after being at Baycroft for 3 and a half weeks so mum is now left alone but receiving the best care possible for someone who is bed-bound now. The wake was held at Baycroft and the staff helped to make it a wonderful day for family and friends. I thoroughly recommend Baycroft - everyone is so caring, the food is good and the rooms are beautiful.

My mum was in Baycroft Flitwick for almost 2 years and the standard of care and attention she received was first-class. The management always strives to maintain the highest standards of care. Although my mum didn't engage in the set activities, she was always encouraged to do so. There is much caring staff at Baycroft from carers to nurses, kitchen staff to admin, cleaning, maintenance and reception. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming to visitors and residents. There is a very distinct family atmosphere in the home. We are very grateful indeed for the sympathetic and caring way in which Mum was looked after in her last days. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Accommodation is excellent (clean, warm and comfortable). The room has en suite facilities and is very well adapted for older people. The staff, without exception, are caring and kind. Medical issues have been picked up promptly and managed well. Food is excellent and a special diet is well catered for. Enjoys the company of other residents and participates in social activities. Highly recommended. Gives the family peace of mind to know she is safe and well looked after.

My mother went to Baycroft for rehabilitation and the staff could not have been more welcoming. The standard of care was faultless, cheerful and kind. The food and activities were excellent. The care also included care for visiting relatives and friends. Sadly my mother had a stroke and had to leave for the hospital but when it was clear she was not to recover she returned to Baycroft for her final days which were managed by Baycroft with skill and care. The whole family is grateful and very impressed by Baycroft Flitwick. We recommend it the home without reservation.
