My father has been a resident at Rokewood Court since Nov 21. His condition has sadly deteriorated but the care and compassion shown by the team of carers have given his family total reassurance that, in these difficult times, he is in the very best place for this stage of his illness. His medical needs
have been very well met but, as importantly, he has been treated with respect and dignity, the interaction of carers with our family has been so very supportive and goes well beyond their job description. The team are upbeat, cheerful and attentive but above all their understanding and interaction with dad is constant, despite his complex needs. We are extremely impressed with the Deputy Manager who has repeatedly demonstrated her commitment to encouraging feedback, improve services and provide excellent levels of care for both residents and their families. The manager has ensured that paths of communication to her office are always open and she regularly visits dad.

The Manager and Home Admissions Advisor provided the most thorough admissions/home assessment procedure I have come across and I have had the experience of going through several other home care admission processes/protocols. The only improvement that I think could improve the process is a one pager
that recommends/suggests what residents should or should not bring in terms of belongings when they move in and the request to deliver these prior to moving in so that they can be labelled. Sadly my mother has dementia and whilst she agreed to move in - she changed her mind and she moved out less than 24 hours later.

We have used this care home several times for respite care for my Mum. She has always been made to feel most welcome and is positive about her stay. The facilities are excellent and she has enjoyed plenty of trips out and joined in with activities in the home. The staff are very kind and caring and
I would highly recommend it

I am a short-stay resident but from the very first time I set my eyes on Rokewood Court, I have been pleased with my choice. The fixtures, fittings and furniture seem of the highest quality and so is the quality and the lovely variety of the food. The management and staff are courteous and friendly.
So much at home after a few days, I felt that I am among friends. One minor disappointment I came here hoping to lose some weight. I failed miserably.

It's been wonderful to know dad has been at such a fantastic home. I've been able to relax knowing that the staff have been so lovely to him. He has really enjoyed the food and staff. His room is always so clean and well maintained. If dad needs respite again or a long stay we will most definitely be
coming back.

My Mum has been a resident of Rokewood since its opening and enjoys the warmth and kindness of the great staff at her new home.
Her personal needs are catered to very professionally. We are confident that she is monitored and treated for any medical conditions, and she loves the pampering and hairdressing
appointments (a highlight!)
She enjoys meeting other residents for morning coffee, and for meals in the dining room. And she definitely appreciates the aperitifs now on offer.
Rokewood Staff provides wonderful entertainment and celebrations (Mum's last Birthday Party was superbly catered, thanks Chef and team!).
The Activities Coordinator and her team do a fabulous job, with a great range of fun events.
Mum's accommodation is lovely and comfortable, surrounded as she is with her personal belongings. I am in Australia, so rely on news and photos from family members, and also the Facebook posts, which mum's friends and family can enjoy and comment on.
Thanks, Rokewood!

Carers are kind and helpful despite having a tough job, especially with staff shortages and covid etc. In an ideal world, there would be more staff with more time for one to one conversations with residents but most have made an effort to get to know mum. She seems fairly settled. Our concerns have
been minor ones - hearing aids not checked and clothes going missing. This has been easily rectified as we visit so regularly. We hope she will socialise more now and be able to get more fresh air. Thanks for all you do.

My mother in law has been a resident at Rokewood Court for at least eight months. Her care, dignity and well being has been the most important part of being a resident here at Rodewood Court. The staff here are exceptional nothing is too much trouble. Her carers are kind, compassionate and hard-working.
We so appreciate their hard work and caring ways giving us the comfort of knowing she is in very capable and safe hands. Thank you.

I have been very impressed with how smooth the whole process was, from first chats on the phone to finally being allowed to view the home (due to Covid). The moving in day was seamless and planned to perfection - the admissions advisor kept us informed throughout and we even got an update with pictures
that same afternoon. Since moving in I have seen a huge improvement with my relative being happier, calmer and more relaxed. I would not hesitate in recommending.

Sadly my mum needed to go into a care home and obviously didn’t want to. Since going into Rokewood she seems to have settled in much better than I thought she would. She gets involved in the daily activities and enjoys the trips out on the minibus. She always has praise for the staff and they all seem
very nice and caring.
As the home is new all the rooms are nice and fresh-looking and she is glad to have her own wet room which is an added bonus.

We had to wait to get our dear friend into a home during lockdown so the home's admissions advisor's contact and advice during this time were regular and appreciated. We were concerned about the transition into the care home, but the admissions advisor and the staff made it seamless and well planned.
Rokewood is definitely a luxury home - very clean, exceptionally well presented and well-thought-out with plenty of activities. Very pleased with our choice of home/staff and our friend is settled and happy.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.741)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.741) out of 10 for Rokewood Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 15 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.866 for Rokewood Court is calculated as follows: ( (158 Excellents x 5) + (18 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 179 Ratings = 4.866
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.875 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rokewood Court is based on 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.875
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 64 registered maximum number of service users is 12.8, which has been reached with 15 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

General Manager – Residential Care Home

As the General Manager of Rokewood Court, I lead with purpose, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. My role is to ensure every resident feels safe, respected, and truly at home. I oversee all aspects of the home’s operations—from nurturing a high-performing team to upholding the highest standards of care—so families can rest assured their loved ones are in capable, caring hands.

My Experience

With a career dedicated to care home management, I bring deep expertise in person-centred care and team leadership. I’ve worked closely with residents, families, and staff to create environments where dignity, empathy, and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. I’m passionate about developing my team, fostering a culture of kindness and professionalism, and ensuring every resident receives both the practical support and emotional connection they deserve. Helping people live fulfilling, comfortable lives isn’t just my job—it’s my calling.

About Me

Away from work, I’m a devoted family person and a lover of travel and creativity. I find joy in drawing and caring for my lively household of pets—including Simba the cat, Gonzo the tortoise, and a flock of cheerful chickens. They remind me daily of the importance of warmth, character, and connection—values I bring into the home I manage.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

I qualified as a teacher in 2005, but my path changed in 2012 when I came to the UK and started working in the care sector as a care assistant. I have experience in both nursing and residential care homes which enabled me to gain more in-depth knowledge of differing care needs. I’m a great believer that no two residents are the same and that each has differing needs, desires and preferences.

I have developed through training and practice and besides being a care assistant, I have been an activity coordinator, and a team leader and I currently have over 3 years of experience as a Deputy Manager.

My biggest achievement to date has been occupying a position as Acting Manager in my previous workplace. It was a very rewarding position, full of new challenges from which I have learnt a lot and gained a good understanding of the management role in a care home which I look forward to bringing to Rokewood Court. I am currently working on my Leadership and Management level 5 Diploma, and I am using every opportunity to share my experience with the team and to get involved in our resident's care. I am very passionate about elderly and Dementia care which I aim to pass on to the rest of the team. The reason I started working with Rokewood Court and Cinnamon Care Collection is that we are all united and share the same values: passion, dedication and respect. I look forward to meeting you.

What I Do

I help families and potential residents navigate the deeply personal and often emotional journey of considering a care home for their loved ones. With empathy and professionalism, I provide guidance, answer questions, and offer reassurance during what can be an overwhelming time. I consider it a true privilege to support people through such significant life decisions.

My Experience

Before my current role, I worked at Eden Court in Battersea for Cinnamon Care Collection, where I had the opportunity to support families and residents in a care home setting, further developing my understanding of the emotional and practical considerations involved in choosing the right care environment.

Before entering the care sector, I worked as a sales consultant in luxury senior living in London. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, a deep understanding of people’s needs during transitional life stages, and the ability to guide clients through complex, often sensitive decisions — all of which have transferred into my current role.

About me

Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, exploring new places, and making the most of any opportunity to travel. These moments keep me grounded and remind me why human connection is at the heart of everything I do.

WHAT I DO

I specialise in creating refined, nutritionally balanced culinary experiences that combine the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean with the precise dietary requirements of our residents. My approach transforms fresh, seasonal ingredients into elegant, health-focused cuisine that celebrates both nourishment and the pleasure of dining. Every dish is thoughtfully designed to be visually striking and deeply flavourful.

MY EXPERIENCE

With over seven years of experience in the luxury care home sector, I have developed strong expertise in high-end hospitality. My culinary foundation is deeply influenced by the rich food traditions of Albania and Greece, where I cultivated a profound respect for authentic Mediterranean techniques and ingredients.
This heritage enables me to bring a distinctive sophistication to professional kitchens, while consistently upholding rigorous standards of nutrition, food safety, and dietary compliance. I am experienced in catering to those with diverse clinical needs, without compromising on creativity, flavour, or presentation.

ABOUT ME

Born in Albania and raised in Greece, I bring the warmth, generosity, and hospitality of the Balkans into every kitchen I lead. I firmly believe that exceptional food is fundamental to well-being, particularly within a care environment.
Beyond my professional work, I am passionate about preserving heritage recipes and continuously exploring innovative ways to harmonize traditional Mediterranean flavour with contemporary fine-dining techniques.
