The staff of Earlsfield have done everything they could possibly do to advise, inform and reassure our family prior to admission and to continue to do that especially now that our mum is in their care.
We were and are so impressed with the facilities, the fabulous food and the dedicated care and admin
staff who have been so reassuring during this time when we need to know mum will be and is safe and cared for.

From the moment we made our first enquiry on behalf of our mum about moving to Earlsfield, all the staff have been totally amazing. They showed patience and complete understanding of our concerns about mum and where she might live and answered every single question we put to them in full, believe me,
there were many questions!
We met all the staff that would be looking after mum over tea and cake many times and viewed the home on several occasions to select the correct room. We were also invited to have lunch to try the food, which is exceptional.
The home is just beautiful, the bedrooms are designed to make you feel relaxed and calm, all with en-suite shower rooms.
The love and care our very precious mum has been shown whilst she has been in Earlsfield, is exemplary. Nothing has been too much trouble for Mum or us.
We can't visit Mum at the moment, but are updated with photos, an app and can call anytime to speak to Mum or a carer for peace of mind at this very difficult time.

Earlsfield Court is new and exceptional in every way. My dad moved in last week and he is very happy and looks well cared for. That means everything to me to know he is in good hands. The genuine care of the staff is exceptional at all levels. They are kind and go the extra mile. Nothing is too much
trouble. His room is tasteful and stylish, and he has a patio door looking onto the garden. There are activities and outings. The food is exceptional and all his needs are swiftly met. Staffing levels are superb. The staff communicate well with me and have made my family very welcome in his new 'home'. I truly highly recommend Earlsfield Court as a care home with a difference - it is five star.

I am so relieved and happy to know that dad is in such good hands. I am truly appreciative of all aspects, large and small of Earlsfield Court. I have interacted with many staff members over four days of helping my dad move in and get settled. Absolutely everyone has been genuinely caring and thoughtful
and helpful and respectful to my dad and me. In many small ways, which can make a big difference in the feel of a place, I find Earlsfield to be a friendly compassionate and professional care home. There is a good staff ratio to residents and service is not rushed. The home is tastefully furnished and appointed. My dad is pleased with the comfort and appearance of his room and is already feeling at home. The meals are exceptional too. The quality of ingredients, a variety of menus and the beautiful presentation of the meals is amazing in every way. I recommend highly without reservation.

I am now the General Manager of Earlsfield and as such ensure all aspects of the business run smoothly. This includes Care and Financial elements. My focus is to ensure we have an inviting, safe and homely community for our residents to achieve their full potential and live happy and fulfilling lives. Ensuring we have competent and caring staff is essential in this regard and I will ensure that this is an approach that continues and maintains confidence in all our residents’ families and friends.


Experience.


I have worked within the Health and Social Care sector since Qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1981. My career has taken me through the pathway of older people’s care as a ward sister in the Acute NHS to being a University Lecturer with the University of Brighton, developing and teaching the degree in Gerontology programme. In the later years of my NHS career, I worked as Deputy Chief Nurse in an Acute Hospital Trust and Professional Head of Nursing within an NHS Mental Health Trust. On leaving the NHS, I came to the independent sector and have been a CQC Registered Manager for the past 14 years.

I have been married for 45 years and have very grown-up children! I have very eclectic hobbies including baking, pickling, reading, writing poetry, and playing my X-Box; I also enjoy Star Wars, Sci-Fi and fantasy. Never enough hours in the day!

I joined Earlsfield Court in April 2020 as a recruitment administrator and went on to become the home administrator, I took a year out to spend more time with my son and I am lucky enough to have been able to return to Earlsfield. My role is very varied, no two days are the same and I really enjoy the variety of the role. My favourite part is building relationships with our residents and their relatives, I love hearing about people’s history.
