At Earlsfield Court, the team of skilled carers are on hand to support residents to ensure they have a comfortable day. The Activities Team ensures there is something for everyone, with trips out to points of interest both locally and further afield, as well as entertainers and hobby groups meeting throughout the week.

The Head Chef and their team spend hours creating tasty nutritionally balanced meals that are the highlight of the day for many.

Contacted the home in the early part of the year to arrange respite for my mother. The home was extremely helpful and accommodating, kept informed right up to the day. Mother well looked after and was extremely happy. The staff are amazing and the facilities are fabulous. Thank you.

The home lives up to its luxury claims. My family and friend say it is like visiting an expensive hotel. The team here at Earlsfield are a class above other care homes. They understand and take care of the individual needs of residents. They make you feel safe and nothing is too much trouble. The quality
of the food is very high, always well presented so eating is a pleasure. The chefs are always willing to serve up any special requests. Visitors are treated to coffee and cake and you can even arrange a dining experience for them. My stay at Earlsfield has allowed me to rebuild my strength both physically and mentally. I would not hesitate to recommend Earlsfield to families looking for a care home or to their loved ones.

Earlsfield Court is excellent in every department except food. This is often due to poor preparation and serving. Hot meals sometimes arrive at the table just warm. There are too many 'foreign dishes' for residents in age groups 80/90 who would prefer a more 'English' diet. Apart from the food I am
very happy here.

Regarding your feedback on our menu choices I have spoken to the chef, we do use a heat probe on all the food when it leaves the kitchen and when it is served in the dining room to ensure that residents do receive their food at the correct temperature, so we will be monitoring this moving forward. Our Chef is going to come and have a chat with you about the food and what you are unhappy with to see what we can do to make your experience an even greater one.

I have very good reason to be grateful for Earlsfield taking in, at very short notice, my sister and brother in law who were turned away at the very last minute by another care home in Bexhill which had already accepted them but then raised a technicality about an EpiPen which they were unable to resolve.
Since the couple moved into Earlsfield they (and I) have had nothing but praise for the staff, the facilities, the standard of management and care, and the food. I have had experience of many homes in the area, but I have never come across one as good as Earlsfield.

My great aunt had a four-week respite stay at Earlsfield Court and we can not recommend it enough. Thank you to all the lovely staff at the home, obviously the caregivers but also the chefs and office staff who always went above and beyond. The whole process was made very easy and the communication
between us and the home was great. My relative felt well looked after and said she is glad to know that there is somewhere she will be happy to move into if she had to make a permanent move into a care home.

My mum has just returned home after a respite stay at Earlsfield Court after an operation. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her time at Earlsfield Court. Previously Mum was not keen to have a stay in a care home but the comfortable, modern surroundings, the friendly, knowledgeable staff and the delicious food
all beautifully presented on the plate, have won Mum over. She told us that the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive to her needs and she really appreciated that the chef came to ask her what she liked to eat.
Mum received 5-star treatment.
The home are very careful to follow COVID rules to keep everyone safe but following procedures, I was able to visit. On mum's birthday, the chef made a wonderful cake and the staff put up an individually painted birthday banner. We sat in the pretty garden and admired the flowers. Mum had a great birthday.
Thank you so much to everyone at Earlsfield Court, who made Mum's stay lovely. She is now very well rested.

My Mother-in-Law recently moved into Earlsfield during these very trying times. The management of the home were very helpful and understanding in helping us to prepare her room before her arrival so that it felt as much like home as possible, arranging for personal pictures to be hung on the walls and
personal items to be displayed in the room. Due to Coronavirus regulations, my Mother-in-Law had to undergo 2 weeks quarantine but the home were fabulous in giving extra special care during this period and allowing us socially distanced visiting to keep her spirits up. Since completing her quarantine, my Mother-in-Law has been enjoying meeting her fellow residents, exploring the five-star facilities within the Home and continues to be cared for to a very high, loving standard. We are delighted we have been able to move her to Earlsfield and she is already reaping the rewards of being a resident there.

Mum was a resident at another care home when she and I felt it was time for a change. Moving is always stressful at the best of times, but I cannot speak highly enough of the great help and care plan set up for Mum's move and quarantine period during an extremely difficult and challenging time. The
staff are incredibly supportive of both me and Mum's wishes and try to accommodate them as soon as possible, whether it is a food request, a small maintenance issue, or a simple question. There is humour and genuine care given, with a hug too if needed and any queries I have are answered promptly. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with true 5-star quality and the cinema room is fabulous. Mum said she felt like she had been on an outing when watching a film there. There is a restful feel to the landscaped gardens and the setting is tranquil. We have enjoyed afternoon tea there together.

Dad loves it here - he keeps telling all his friends and family we must all come here "when our time comes"! He is receiving excellent care, and we can't thank and praise the staff highly enough. It has taken a huge weight off our minds knowing he is being so well looked after.

I visit a lot of care homes with my job and there is nowhere quite like Earlsfield Court. From the warmest welcome on arrival, the luxurious surroundings, the friendliest staff (from the manager to the maintenance staff) and the wonderful carers, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Earlsfield Court.

All the staff are extremely caring and considerate of resident and visitors needs. It is a lovely friendly home.
Would totally recommend anyone to stay here, although a little on the expensive side.
The cleanliness is very good and the food is also very good.

What I do.


I am now the General Manager of Earlsfield and as such ensure all aspects of the business run smoothly. This includes Care and Financial elements. My focus is to ensure we have an inviting, safe and homely community for our residents to achieve their full potential and live happy and fulfilling lives. Ensuring we have competent and caring staff is essential in this regard and I will ensure that this is an approach that continues and maintains confidence in all our residents’ families and friends.


Experience.


I have worked within the Health and Social Care sector since Qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1981. My career has taken me through the pathway of older people’s care as a ward sister in the Acute NHS to being a University Lecturer with the University of Brighton, developing and teaching the degree in Gerontology programme. In the later years of my NHS career, I worked as Deputy Chief Nurse in an Acute Hospital Trust and Professional Head of Nursing within an NHS Mental Health Trust. On leaving the NHS, I came to the independent sector and have been a CQC Registered Manager for the past 14 years.

I have been married for 45 years and have very grown-up children! I have very eclectic hobbies including baking, pickling, reading, writing poetry, and playing my X-Box; I also enjoy Star Wars, Sci-Fi and fantasy. Never enough hours in the day!

What I do


My role is to market our beautiful home and welcome new residents & their families. Offering support when making a significant decision at a critical time. We have a beautiful home which has a family feel, lovely food, a varied activities programme (including minibus outings) and caring staff, which means happy residents and family members. Every day is different, there is always something going on which makes you happy. We take pride in filling the resident's days with many happy memories & making a significant difference .


My Experience


I have worked in Sales & Marketing for over 27 years, initially in London until I relocated to Eastbourne 20 years ago. I Moved across to the Care sector 18 years ago and I have not looked back since. I have enjoyed supporting luxury care homes in roles like The Home Admission Advisor for many years now . I have also owned my own home help company & Care consultancy where I matched my team members to my clients request, which allowed me to be involved with my clients’ daily needs .


About Me


When I am not working, I attend the gym , I love spending time with Friends & Family. I live close to the Seafront & enjoy nothing better than a walk and a coffee with my dog Bobby. Good food & live music are also things I enjoy when socialising .

WHAT I DO:
I joined Earlsfield Court in April 2020 as a recruitment administrator and went on to become the home administrator, I took a year out to spend more time with my son and I am lucky enough to have been able to return to Earlsfield. My role is very varied, no two days are the same and I really enjoy the variety of the role. My favourite part is building relationships with our residents and their relatives, I love hearing about people’s history.


EXPERIENCE:
Before joining Cinnamon Care Collection I spent 10 years working for a builder's merchant, 8 of those in Accounts and 2 years as an HR officer, I studied HR at college and gained my level 3 CIPD qualification, I also studied and passed my bookkeeping level 2 and AAT computerised accounting.

When I’m not at work, my time is devoted to my husband and our 3-year-old son, we often go out exploring.

WHAT I DO:
I’m the Earlsfield Court Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator, my role is to bring daily activities to the residents, promoting socialising and fun activities that promote positivity of the mind and movement of the body.


MY EXPERIENCE:
I come from a background in hospitality over many years, but in recent years, I have worked as a coordinator of activities here at Earlsfield Court.

I’m a proud mum of three children and have three wonderful grandchildren, whom I love spending time with.

What I do:
I joined Earlsfield Court in March 2021 as a Maintenance Manager.
My role is varied and I am enjoying the everyday tasks. I have a great working environment and am proud to be part of the team that works for Cinnamon Care.


My experience:
Prior to joining Earlsfield Court, I spent many years working as a Panel beater and sprayer in garages in my home country of Ireland and here in England. I then moved on to building trading, eventually becoming a Maintenance Manager for Park Holidays.


About me:
I moved from Ireland in 1986. I met my wife in 1998 and settled in Bexhill. We have two children 22 and 15. I enjoy socialising with friends and family in my spare time.

What I do:
I joined Earlsfield Court in July 2021. My role is to keep Earlsfield Court looking lovely and inviting for our residents and visitors maintaining high standards that go above and beyond expectations.


Experience:
I have over 10 years of experience as a Head Housekeeping in the care sector working in a variety of different Care/Nursing settings. I previously gained my Hospitality & Supervision & Leadership (HSL) qualification which gave me the opportunity to join the team here at Earlsfield Court, I am lucky to work here and look forward to coming to work every day.


About Me:
I feel the staff and residents are my family after losing my Husband they have been there to support me when needed and I will always support them in return. When not at work I love walking and looking for the wild Deer all around where I live.

My role is to look after our residents support them with personnel care and build caring relationships and promote their independence and well-being.


Experience:
I have worked in care for over 5 years mainly as a care assistant but also have worked in the community. Before that, I worked in customer service for over 18 years in Asda.


About me:
When not at work I enjoy socialising with friends and a good game of Bingo. I enjoy sports (watching not participating) and being with my family.
