My father went to the Haven for respite initially and then decided to stay. We have found The Haven to be a 'home from home' for him. It is very professionally run, but with a very friendly and caring attitude from the managers and all the staff. We could not have chosen better. The Haven is a gem.
Thank you for your kind comments about the care and support your father has received at The Haven - we will pass on your comments to the team.
My mother has been a resident here at The Haven for six months now. She has settled in so very well and is so happy here. All the staff are so kind, helpful, friendly, respectful, very caring and also a lot of fun. We couldn't have wanted for a better place of care for Mum. We feel so lucky to have found The Haven. It's fantastic. It has a busy, buzzing atmosphere, and you never feel alone here. There is plenty of activities and occasions are always celebrated. I would recommend The Haven 100%. Management are brilliant too.

Originally Mum came to the Haven for respite care but soon made up her mind to stay as a permanent resident as she felt so comfortable and relaxed here and all her needs are taken care of. Her family and friends are all made equally welcome by both the staff and her fellow residents. The staff listen and act on any of our concerns. Moving into a care home is a big decision but the warm, professional, happy atmosphere at the Haven has helped to make that decision easier.
Thank you for your kind comments and we're so pleased that your Mum was quickly able to decide to stay for longer at The Haven.
From the minute we walked through the door we knew this was the best place for my auntie. Every member of staff welcomed her by name. She has been treated with dignity and respect. Staff are cheerful and happy and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. Our family were made to feel incredibly welcome and were offered tea and lunch. The room is bright, airy, clean and comfortable which a much need ensuite. There is so much attention to detail, helped by the entry questionairre, which allowed my auntie some of her regular routines e.g cup of bedtime hot drink and Saturday newspaper. Even the carer helping to shower auntie made sure the floor was dry after 10/10
Thank you so much for your really kind commments about the care provided to your auntie - its our pleasure to support her at The Haven.
Wonderful staff. A safe place that is warm and friendly with a homely atmosphere and great food. Every need is catered for and a lovely place to make new friends. I have peace of mind knowing that Mum is being well cared for and is happy.

Mum came to The Haven following a fall, initially for respite care. She has recently returned after a hospital admission - her pleasure being back at The Haven was both obvious and a delight to see. The staff are super friendly and caring, and make every visit a pleasure.

Our mum spent nearly two years in The Haven and during that time she was very well cared for and staff showed compassion and kindness as her condition deteriorated. When Mum was able to engage in activities, the staff ensured she had every opportunity to enjoy the full range, and she particularly loved the musical sessions. The food and drink provided was always of a high standard and the care home was always clean and well-presented. As visitors, we always felt very welcome.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the care and support provided to your mum during her stay with us at The Haven, it was our pleasure to support her.
Our 95-year-old father spent the last year of his life in The Haven. We were very happy with his care. All staff without exception were very professional, caring and met his demanding needs. The family were kept well informed about his stage of health and we felt he was in the best place to meet his needs.
Thank you for taking the time to thank our team at The Haven for the care and support provided to your late father - it was our pleasure to support him and your family.
My mother was in The Haven Care Home for a very short time but I was always impressed with their professionalism, kindness and cheeriness. The facilities are just superb too. The manager went to great lengths to provide extra care for Mum.

The management team supported me and my family to keep her there permanently. My Aunt has loved every minute since. The staff are so friendly and look after her well. Thank you so much to the amazing team!
I visit my very close friend every day and he is so happy at the home. He calls it his home and that's all I care about. I have recommended this to others as the staff are utterly amazing. Thank you from me.
