Dora Rose Care home is an amazing place, at the time I had never visited a care home, but my health was deteriorating and my friends were becoming concerned. They thought it would be a good idea to look at some homes. They found Dora Rose and an appointment was made to look around. We were shown around and all our questions were answered. I was apprehensive at first but my friends explained there would always be people around, which is what I had had all my life until the last few years. I agreed to 2 weeks respite care, and here I am 5 years later!! The care is fantastic, they treat you as if you were the only resident. Any health issues are dealt with immediately, the doctor attends every Wednesday.

The facilities and staff are excellent and the positive impact on my Mum since she entered Dora Rose has been great. She entered the home in early 2025 and is now happier, more alert and more engaging than she was before. This is a testament to the care that she is receiving.
