I can't thank Invicta Court enough. From the moment I first contacted them, they have been professional, helpful and supportive. The level of care is outstanding from all the staff and everyone, residents and staff are always happy.

The food is better than many hotels with a lovely variety of fresh seasonal produce. There is also a wonderful mixture of activities put on daily. We couldn't have wished for a better place for my dad to be.

My wife went into Invicta Court for a period of respite which was extended to a longer stay until a facility was found nearer her home.

She was cared for with skill, kindness and friendliness in well-appointed accommodation. By the time of her leaving, several members of the nursing and caring staff had become her friends; she left with a degree of reluctance. Care UK can be proud of Invicta Court.

My husband was admitted to Invicta Court Care Home for end of life care. We knew immediately that he was going to be well cared for, the welcome that we all received and the attention to detail was fantastic. All the staff from every department were so caring , considerate and and thoughtful. My daughters and I were allowed to stay with my husband as he was so unwell, we all felt involved in his last days, supported and very happy that we had chosen Invicta Court Care Home.

My mum was in Invicta Court Care Home in Maidstone as an end of life resident.
While there my mum received the utmost care and respect from all concerned in her well being.
I cannot thank the staff and all the workers for their help and consideration they gave to myself and my family at this sad time.
We are extremely grateful.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

From the moment we saw Invicta Court we knew it was the right place for mum - more like a hotel than a care home. Beautiful furnishings and layout created with thought, large bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, general areas upmarket and enticing, plus excellent facilities such as a hair salon, cinema room and cafe. There was no feel of a hospital unlike many other homes we saw, even on the nursing floor. Mum was end of life and only spent a week at Invicta but during that time she received gentle and respectful care from all the staff. They paid attention to little details that helped to maintain mums dignity during this difficult time and they made my siblings and I welcome and cared for as we spent her last few days together. Regardless of whether staff were nurses, care workers or office staff, everyone was kind, helpful and caring.

The staff at Invicta Court care home always go over and above to make sure that my mother-in-law is cared for and safe, which were our two main concerns when she was living alone at home. As a family, we have been through some difficult times, and everyone has been supportive, understanding and compassionate every step of the process. Thank You.

I received such a warm and informative reception when deciding between different nursing homes. This reception was even better and warmer when Dad arrived. The facilities are perfect, all equipment is brand new and plentiful. The care has been excellent and all Dad's needs have been met very well. His health has improved as a direct result of the care he has received.

I have at times struggled to make contact via phone when the nurses and care assistants are busy, which is to be expected. Whenever I do get through, every staff member I have spoken to have all been really cheerful, very well informed and really helpful.

Brilliant care home, exceptional staff, so caring nothing was too much for them. They looked after my mother-in-law so well, shame it was only for a short time, but she liked it there very much. Lovely grounds too.

I would sincerely like to thank all the staff at Invicta Court, management, carers, chef, nurses, team leaders, entertainment manager. My father recently came out of isolation and to celebrate the staff arranged a 'date night' for my father (95 years old) and mother (98 years old). My mother is of Indian heritage. One of the carers on her day off came in and dressed my mother appropriately. The chef cooked a curry etc. Needless to say, my parents were overwhelmed as I am. Memorable moments.

My mum came to Invicta Court for an assessment from hospital. Due to Covid restrictions, I was not able to visit, however, when I spoke to mum on the phone she always praised the staff and thought her room was lovely. Mum was quite poorly during her stay, but I cannot fault the care and attention she received by the devoted staff. I was kept informed on mum's progress on a regular basis. Mum remained at the home for 9 weeks, until she sadly became ill and passed away in hospital. I cannot thank the staff enough for treating mum with such kindness and respect.

My sister is 89 and is disabled. She hated the thought of going into a care home and really didn't want to go for respite care at all. However, the minute she arrived at Invicta Court everything changed. She loved the marvellous care and immediately felt at home with the superb staff. She was treated with respect and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. She even had a manicure and was thrilled with her saucy red nails. It was so good to know she was being cared for so wonderfully. Thank you Invicta Court.

The staff couldn't have treated my mother any better. They were ALL so kind, caring and prepared to go the extra mile. Everyone was very welcoming and took time to explain anything to my mother and myself and brother. The food was excellent - again everyone taking great pains to ensure it was tasty, nutritious and presented well. I cannot praise everyone highly enough.

Covid obviously limited activities etc but great care and attention was paid to the safety of residents.

An excellent care home in all respects. Our mum was admitted for end of life care and could not have received better treatment. All of her needs were met with dignity, respect, care and compassion. The beautiful immaculate room and surroundings made for a calm and safe atmosphere. My sister and I were treated kindly and with compassion. Our thanks go to all of the staff for making us feel so well cared for.

From the moment mum and I came to look around Invicta Court we just knew this was the right place for her. This home has to be seen to be believed - it has been very well thought out and there are so many extra touches which have made it feel so warm and special, such as the fantastic garden with raised flower beds and private patio so mum can still indulge in her beloved gardening. She loves her room and the food she says is great. But the very best part of Invicta Court is the staff, who - in all areas of the home - have shown such care and genuine interest and affection for mum. The home has a warm and welcoming feel to it, even in these difficult COVID times. We look forward to visiting the cafe and sharing the garden when restrictions can be lifted but in the meantime, it is so wonderful to know that mum is in the right place and is happy. We are so grateful - this is an exceptional place.

My Nan was only at Invicta Court for a short period of time before she sadly passed away. The staff were amazing in her last few days; I will be forever thankful for what they did for her.
My experience of Invicta Court is that staff are so friendly and treat their residents like members of the family. Although this is a new care home, I really hope it stays so that other families can experience great care for their family members.

Thank you again to everyone at Invicta for everything you did for my Nan. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Meet the Team (1)

Sara Barbosa
Sara BarbosaJob Title Home Manager

I was keen to join Care UK because it is a well-respected organisation with impressive values and a strong portfolio of homes around the country. I joined Invicta Court at the beginning of its journey as I was keen to be involved in commissioning a new home and shaping the standards of care, right from the start.

My favourite part of the day at our Maidstone care home is when I get the chance to talk to the residents. Listening to their life experiences is fascinating, and by getting to know the people we care for, we’re better able to provide person-centred, high quality care.

I’m enjoying working with the team to build Invicta Court’s reputation for great care, to enable residents to live their lives to the full, and to make residents’ wishes a reality.

At Invicta Court I'm also the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Champion for the home. It's my job to establish and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness so that residents, colleagues and visitors keep safe.
