Friendly staff and a hands-on, management team.
My relative can be “difficult”. The home copes well.
Activities are excellent and varied.
I have no hesitation in recommending Invicta Court Care Home.

And the selection of cakes in the cafe is always excellent.

My sister and I had reservations about moving my mother to a care home but had little alternative due to the need for closer supervision. Invicta Court were extremely helpful and thorough right from the time we decided to apply for a place. All the staff were extremely attentive and friendly when my mother visited and this has continued to be the norm. My mother has suffered a couple of medical emergencies since entering Invicta Court and these have been dealt with professionally and with kindness and care. The environment is very pleasant and well thought out and there are plenty of activities and every facility that my mother needs. I have been particularly impressed by the staff who seem to have a strong community spirit working together on activities and providing support outside normal working hours. I am happy that my mother is now in an environment where she can have the best quality of life for her age and ability.

My mother was a resident at Invicta Court from January 23 to April 23. During that time, the care she received was excellent, and she frequently commented on how lucky we were to find such a lovely place and how caring the staff were that they could not do enough to make her comfortable. Their response to her needs, both physical and medical, could not be faulted.
My wife worked in the care sector for eight years and said that she had not known any other residence to have such good facilities and staff.

We have recommended Invicta Care to friends who are also very pleased with the care their relative is receiving. I will continue to highly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance for a relative.

My father was at Invicta Court for ten months, and the care and attention he was given during his illness was unparalleled. Every member of staff was professional, cheerful and positive at all times.

Everyone always gave that little bit extra, and my father was made to feel special. The support that was also given to our family was very much appreciated. I have visited family and friends in other care homes, and they are not comparable to Invicta Court, in my opinion, and I have already recommended it to people.

My mother was a resident at Invicta Court and I can only thank the wonderful staff for the care and support they gave to her and also to myself and our family.

It is always a very difficult time when our loved ones have to move into a care home but I cannot stress enough how much the team at Invicta really cared for Mum and also importantly how they kept me updated about the care she was getting and what care they felt she may need in the future.

My Mum has been a resident of Invicta Court since May 2022. In all that time her care has been second to none and I feel secure knowing that she is being looked after by a team of brilliant people. If you imagine the awful places you see on TV, the ones you would be scared to leave your loved one in, well Invicta Court is the total opposite. Wonderful professional staff who know every resident, so clean, good food, lots of activities, lovely places to sit with the family. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Yes it’s expensive, but not much more than other care homes, and totally worth every penny for my mum’s care. So glad I found it for my mum; she is very happy there.

My mother was a resident at Invicta Court for 18 months.
The management and staff are caring, considerate, and very supportive to residents and families.
The rooms are lovely and clean, lots of activites, a garden and cafe for families to use on visits.
The food is excellent.
Towards the end of my mother's life we couldn't have asked for better care and support.

I would highly recommend this care home.

My mum moved to Invicta Court in August 2021. She sadly died in February 2023 after being on palliative care for 7 months. I can honestly say she had the best care during her time at Invicta Court, even when she was bedridden and was struggling to eat or communicate, the staff were wonderful and I could not fault the care she received. Mum had been living in her own home prior to becoming ill and losing some mobility which made the prospect of staying at home impossible. She was very introverted and shy. When she arrived at Invicta Court she made friends and enjoyed the coffee mornings and entertainment - something she would never have done if still at home. She loved her room, and she felt safe and cared for. She got all the help she needed when she needed it, and peace and privacy when she wanted that. During the long period of her decline, it was not just Mum who received support and kindness - we (her family) were given so much emotional and practical help.

My father was a resident of Invicta Court from May 2022 until he passed away in June 2023. Throughout his time there, he was treated with great sensitivity and friendliness by the superb staff. From the manager of the home through to all the care and nursing staff, catering and cleaning and janitorial staff, everyone treated him superbly. Whenever I visited/one of our family, we were made to feel welcome. I cannot praise Invicta Court highly enough.

My mum moved to Invicta Court in November 2022 - in December she had a bad fall and broke her hip which has resulted in a great deterioration of her well-being. I felt that her injuries were partly due to negligence in her care at this home and were later told of a complete change of events. I would not recommend this care home to anyone and feel greatly let down by Invicta Court management in our situation.

Have been completely overwhelmed by the support and care given to myself and my father since making the first phone call. My father has only been a resident for three months but to say his life has changed for the best is an understatement, as has mine. I have my dad back and he is happy, safe, clean, well fed and enjoying all the activities. Dad is 91 years old and with this professional care and kindest of all, the staff, he will certainly enjoy the remaining years! Thank you all at Invicta Court.

I have been a resident here for three months. Prior to coming, I lived alone, since my wife passed away, for twenty-three years. Since coming here it's been like a dream come true! The home is beautiful, everything has been well thought out and the decor is amazing. The manager and all the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is so kind, caring and friendly. I cannot find a fault with anything. Thank you, life is superb!

I can't thank the staff at Invicta Court enough for all the care and compassion they showed my dad. He was only there a short while but they did everything they could to make his stay safe and comfortable. They were so kind to both my dad and me, especially towards the end of his life. They made him very comfortable and the care was exceptional, plus all the little extra touches were appreciated.

This care home is wonderful. All staff, nurses, admin staff are so caring. Noting is too much trouble for them. The staff will sit and listen and are there for you and the person in care. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a care home for their loved ones.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My darling mum passed away at Invicta Court Nursing Home on 1st June 2022. She had lived there for the last two years of her life and, as a family, we are so pleased that Mum was living in such a clean, tidy, well-managed nursing home. The standard of care she received from the outset was wonderful. All of the staff were so caring and thoughtful. Her room was always beautifully looked after, and the food she received was of the highest quality. Even when she became less able to move about, the activities staff always tried to include her as much as possible. Sadly, as her health deteriorated, she had to move from the residential suite to the nursing suite. Her move to a different room was managed with the utmost kindness. The care she received in the last few weeks of her life was exemplary. She was cared for with dignity and respect. The staff treated Mum and us in the same way that they would a member of their own family. We will never be able to thank them enough for all they did.

The staff, surroundings, rooms and facilities were all excellent at Invicta Court. My dad had what he needed when he needed it, especially in his final days. Cleanliness and the covid protocol was thorough and followed at all times. The whole family were extremely happy with dad's care which helped a huge amount when we knew none of us could be there. I would not have any reservations in recommending this care/nursing home. The staff would always spare us time to answer questions we had regarding our dad.

Sara Barbosa
Sara BarbosaJob Title Home Manager

I was keen to join Care UK because it is a well-respected organisation with impressive values and a strong portfolio of homes around the country. I joined Invicta Court at the beginning of its journey as I was keen to be involved in commissioning a new home and shaping the standards of care, right from the start.

My favourite part of the day at our Maidstone care home is when I get the chance to talk to the residents. Listening to their life experiences is fascinating, and by getting to know the people we care for, we’re better able to provide person-centred, high quality care.

I’m enjoying working with the team to build Invicta Court’s reputation for great care, to enable residents to live their lives to the full, and to make residents’ wishes a reality.

At Invicta Court I'm also the Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Champion for the home. It's my job to establish and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness so that residents, colleagues and visitors keep safe.
