Luxuriously furnished with a cosy feel with various lounges which are perfect for socialising, a cinema room, bistro area, a hairdressing salon and lovely patio gardens for all residents to access and enjoy, there’s plenty to keep residents engaged.

Brook House Care Home were delighted to be awarded ‘Best Innovation and Environmental’ in the prestigious Pinders 2022 Healthcare Design Awards.

Safety and comfort are a foremost concern, so all rooms are fitted with a nurse call system and acoustic monitoring for residents' peace of mind. As well as improving quality of sleep, acoustic monitoring can help to reduce the risk of falls. For those living with memory loss or dementia, design features include dementia-friendly elements such as interior decoration, new stable door feature, light levels, floor coverings and signage which help to promote a sense of calm and wellbeing, while enabling people living with dementia to find their way around independently and safely.

I cannot praise the staff at Brook House highly enough. They provide excellent care for my Nan, we can visit any time and they are amazing with my children. It is a wonderful place for adults and children alike. When my children expressed an interest in working at the home, the staff at Brook House
gave them jobs as storytellers. We look forward to our visits to Brook House, we are there two to three times a week, the facilities are always clean and they have a range of activities available daily. The staff always makes us feel welcome and my Nan is happy here.

My sister has been at Brook House for six months now and as a family, we are so pleased with the excellent service, truly that of a five-star hotel. It took a couple of weeks for her to settle in, she has a beautiful room overlooking the gardens but now she is fully settled and enjoys all the activities
and functions.
We recently had a lovely birthday party for her and Brook House provided an excellent buffet and support for a memorable day. I would highly recommend Brook House for anyone looking for five-star care and accommodation.

My Mother came to Brook House in March 2023, after my Father died, to be close to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We decided on Brook House because it has wonderful Staff and is clean, bright and cheerful, these criteria are very important to her.
The kindness, support and communication
for both my Mother and us as a family have been fantastic. We have come to know the Staff and the home very well in the last 18 months and are very pleased with all aspects of care.
My Mother is 97 and her health has actually improved since she came to Brook House due to the care and attention she has received, she has put on weight and her leg ulcers have cleared up. She thrives on routine, which is based on her wishes, she has a daily paper and shower and likes having her hair done. She has a visit from one of our family every day and loves to see the great-grandchildren who also enjoy spending time at this excellent home, which we would recommend without reservation.

This is such a great home, everyone there is really nice. There are so many things, this place feel more like home for the residents such as the cinema room, having their own bathrooms and the free drinks machine means that they can offer their visitors a drink which seems like a small thing but really
means a lot to the residents.

I cannot recommend this home enough! All the staff are so kind and lovely, they really care about the residents and they all make us, as guests, feel welcome too. They have fun and interesting activities every day including exercise and music, which really help the residents have variety in their day
and encourage the residents to interact. The decor is beautiful, it feels more like a hotel than a care home!
Rating the food is difficult because there have been some foods that Nan hasn't liked but it is impossible to give each and every resident their favourite meal every day!

Overall, the home is very friendly with exceptional staff.
The activities are great, keeps Mum busy even though she is in a wheelchair.
Unfortunately, she is not eating her dinner all the time, this is because she won't try different things. She is very happy in her room.

I came into Brook House in February. I was welcomed with much kindness. The staff are extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. Cleanliness is excellent, entertainment is very good. On the whole, I'm very happy here.

Whilst visiting Brook House Care Home to see my grandmother, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Always cheery on any visit I have been here. I like the small things, e.g. being offered a hot or cold drink, even the politest of hellos.
Seems we have found a very good place for my grandmother
to live and be cared for.

As a family, we are so pleased with the care provided at Brook House. The management are excellent - very responsive and useful relatives meetings are held. We are able to raise any concerns (although those are rare) confidentially. The care staff are very efficient and kind and always have time to
chat. The catering staff are equally friendly and the housekeeping team are completely on top of keeping everything spotless. Facilities are very good - particularly the garden and the wellbeing team are just lovely! Fun but also sensitive to each resident's needs.

Dad has been at Brook House since July 2022. He feels at home here and has a good relationship with all the staff who all do a fantastic job.
He is very well looked after and his room is very comfortable and he enjoys being able to access the garden easily.

We moved both my Mum and Dad into Brook House Care Home in March 2023 and it was one of the best decisions we as a family made. They were instantly made to feel at home and knowing that they were eating well and had the care and support they needed was such a relief.
Unfortunately, my father was feeling
under the weather and being cared for by the staff and they noticed he was having a stroke, they called an ambulance straight away and he was admitted to Hospital. When speaking to the Doctor in A&E they commented on the notes that had been sent with my Dad, which gave the hospital full information of his previous capabilities, which the hospital said was extremely helpful. Sadly Dad deteriorated and passed away peacefully a week later. During this time the care home staff were very attentive to my Mum who was both upset and confused and they are continuing to help and care for her whilst she adjusts...I cannot fault the care and support that they have provided.

Having had to admit that I am not able to care for my husband at our home any longer, I am greatly comforted by the care he gets at Brook House. The staff and carers have been wonderful and it's such a warm and cheerful place to visit and I am always made most welcome.

My mother has been at Brook House for 4 weeks of respite and for the past 7 weeks, a fully-fledged resident.
She loves the place. Very friendly staff, very attentive to residents' requirements. Meals are readily available and always filling. The staff ensure the residents have daily activities to
keep them occupied. The cinema room shows great films in the afternoon and my mum loves this. And above all, their medical requirements are catered for. Drug rounds twice daily. Recently we had a dining experience in the private dining room. Chef prepared a fabulous meal and this made my mother's 83rd birthday something special.
As relatives, we are always made welcome. Wonderful receptionist. Coffee in the Bistro is always flowing.
Altogether a great home and my mother is made to feel very comfortable and respected.

“One of the best things about my job is knowing that our residents are living their best life, seeing their smiles, and knowing we are looking after them.


I strive for continuous improvement and like to be hands-on and involved in the day-to-day care. I maintain good communication with my team, residents and families and feel that it is important to get to know everyone. I also like to have good community engagement, as it is important that our home is part of our local community.


Everything we do at Brook House is from the heart and it is not a job, but a passion. We are building a home together – team and residents.
