Standard fees cover a wide range of high-quality services designed to support residents’ comfort, wellbeing, and daily living. This includes all meals and refreshments, housekeeping, laundry, personal care, and access to a full programme of activities and events. Residents also enjoy full use of all communal lounges, dining areas, landscaped gardens, and on-site amenities.
In addition to the standard offering, there are optional extras available to enhance the resident experience. These may include services such as hairdressing, chiropody, newspapers, or certain one-to-one outings and entertainment. These are charged separately, giving residents the flexibility to choose the services that suit their preferences.
In some cases, if a resident or their family chooses additional features such as a larger room or upgraded facilities, a top-up payment may be discussed. All fee details are clearly explained in advance, and the team is committed to making all financial information transparent, supportive, and easy to understand.

If you choose a care home based in Scotland, you may be eligible for the Scottish Government's Free Personal Care funding of up to £260.30 per week (if you are over the age of 65) and Free Nursing Care funding of up to £117.10 per week. This support is not reflected in this fee amount.
Visitors are welcome at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no need to book in advance or contact the home before arriving.
Family and friends are encouraged to visit whenever it suits them and their loved ones.
Communal areas and outdoor spaces are available for residents and their visitors to enjoy during their time at the home.
Parking
Ample on-site parking for all visitors, making access to the home straightforward and convenient. The parking area is located within the grounds of the home, ensuring that visitors do not need to park off-site or walk long distances.

Mum is currently in Castlehill for some well-deserved Respite. My dealings from start to finish were of the highest standard. We were watching closely for you to open as mum stays very close. I dropped in one day before the opening as I spotted a car parked outside. The Manager was in and she very kindly took the time to show me around the beautiful new premises. I won't say Care Home I prefer to say Residence. It is modern, classy, bright, spacious. Beautiful dining areas, light with fabulous views. Tasteful Decor, several private areas for family visits. First floor dining area has a covered spacious balcony that we can pop out onto safely to look at the fabulous views and get fresh air.Bedrooms/en-suite both spacious allowing room for mum to move around safely with her Zimmer not knocking into everything. Bedroom door stays open as mum enters and leaves. Fabulous, professional, friendly efficient Team of staff. Thank you all its a delight to visit and communicate with you.

The atmosphere, staff, food, management and the building are just top-notch. The outside space and inside design is well thought out, and attention to detail is impressive. Every inch in terms of dementia care is forward-thinking and what we were looking for. My father-in-law is seen as an individual and a person. The care and understanding towards us as a family, also at this difficult time by the management as a whole was just outstanding.
After reviewing a number of places, as a family, we're so thankful this care home opened when it did - some things all align at the right time. Nothing prepares you for the difficult decision of a loved one going into a care home and all that goes with it. But finding this place that genuinely cares is a real gem, and for the first time in a long time, we can start to relax and know our loved one is safe and being looked after according to their wishes. My father-in-law is very happy, and that means the world to us.
