My dad, who suffers from dementia, has been a resident of Beachcroft since it opened and was at another place previously. He is very challenging to look after due to his intermittent behaviour issues and good mobility, however, the staff have done an excellent job. They show great patience and care for him. On visiting the home, all the staff I have met are very friendly, and I can tell my dad is happy being there. The home keeps me well informed of everything, including all their activities. The facilities are first class, the rooms are spacious, and there is a lovely garden too. I have no reservations in recommending this care home; your relative will be well looked after.

When it was agreed that my mother needed 24/7 care we were exceptionally lucky to find a place at Beachcroft House Care Home. Despite all the restrictions during the COVID pandemic, the staff have made every effort to meet her needs and care for her. The staff are brilliant. Everyone, including the reception and other support staff, are kind and considerate. Even at the most stressful of times, they are always smiling and helpful. I feel like they care as much for me as they do for her. The recent Platinum Jubilee party was wonderful. Every effort was made to ensure the residents had plenty of fun. There was a super feast crowned by a delicious cake, my mother says the food is always good too.

My cousin has been a resident of Beachcroft and previously at another home since 2016. During these years he was happy, comfortable, clean and presentable. I couldn’t have wished for a better care home for him. All the staff were so good with him and although I couldn’t visit that often, I always found them to be polite, helpful and ready with a cup of tea!

I have had to move my mum out of Beachcroft House due to her having three falls in nine weeks. The first on the day she arrived there and the last, ending in a broken hip. I feel she wasn’t cared for and the receptionist really needs some lessons in people skills as she is the rudest person I have ever met.

My mother was moved to Beachcroft from another care home during lockdown so I was unable to assist with the move. I was apprehensive about my first visit to the new home and how my mother was doing. I was very pleasantly surprised at the standard of the facility and the level of cleanliness and privacy. The staff have been very kind and attentive to my mother's needs. Although I feel guilty of not providing the care myself, I live abroad, I am very confident that my mum is being well cared for by professional staff and this gives me great comfort. Thanks to all the staff.

Since my Dad moved in at the end of May 2021 (following the death of my Mum), he has settled in really well, which is a testament to all the care staff involved in his care. I was extremely anxious about this major transition in both our lives. But it's obvious he is in good hands.

I have been very happy with my wife's care, it took a little while to settle when she moved happened from another home last September 2020 but now there's a definite routine and more of a family atmosphere and the facilities are fantastic. Also, this year will be the first the lovely garden can be used properly as it was a little late in the year September 2020 when she first moved.
The organized events within the care home are very well done, birthdays etc and making things like Easter baskets, cards, colouring and drawing. They have regular exercise sessions normally to music from the lounge TV which everyone enjoys.
It's been a very difficult year with the Coronavirus restrictions but hopefully that will soon be coming to an end and things will get back to normal and more indoor visiting allowed and spending more time with loved ones.

I am very happy with my wife's care, and she looks well and happy. I'm very grateful to everyone who looks after her.

My mother moved to Beachcroft House Care Home from another care home. She has settled in very well and is happy in her surroundings. The staff show every care and attention to her needs and I am confident that she is safe, secure and well cared for. On my recent visits to see my mother, all the staff that I have met are very friendly, courteous and obliging, my mother appears very happy in their company. I would have no reservation in recommending this care home to others.
