My mother suffers from Alzheimer's and was removed due to concerns regarding the lack of stimulation in the residential dementia unit. Her physical and mental health suffered significantly in her 4-week stay here. Thankfully she is settled and happy in her current home and in a much better state.

My husband has been in Lakelands Lodge since November 2021, apart from about a month when he was in the hospital with urinary sepsis and then Covid. The care has been excellent, and the staff have responded to his different needs as his condition deteriorated. We could not be more grateful, not only
to the nurses and carers but also to the staff on reception, cleaners and occasionally the kitchen staff. They have been caring, kind and understanding, not only with my husband but also with me and our family.

I was first able to visit my mum in early November 2021. I was very impressed with the home, and in particular with the carers. My mother's face would light up whenever they came into the room, which showed me that she was content and happy. She looks well cared for, clean and healthy, and is treated
with dignity. She has a sea view room which she loves, and there is always something to keep her interest. I feel it is very important that she sees the outside world. I would highly recommend this home as it does feel like a home from home (or a 5* hotel!). The staff were so kind to me as well, and very accommodating. Thank you Lakelands Lodge for all you do.

Lakeland Lodge looks after our daughter's needs extremely well. They also allow us to visit twice a week which is very good considering the present COVID restrictions.
Overall, we are delighted with our daughter's care at Lakeland Lodge. (Lovely staff).

Nice, friendly staff. Very caring and considerate. I always felt my mum was in safe hands. A nice, modern building with fabulous views overlooking the boating lake and out onto the Irish sea. I would certainly recommend Lakelands Lodge to anyone.

My nan moved here in the last couple of months and there has been an instant improvement in her health and wellbeing. She has started to lift her mood daily and is actually wanting to get out of bed, unlike her last placement. The home is beautiful and the staff are fantastic. Always a welcome feeling
when you arrive. I highly recommend Lakelands Lodge. Also, the concierge and manager are fantastic and really friendly.

This home came recommended to us by a friend, whose mother was already a resident. It is not a ‘one size fits all’ organisation I am very pleased to say. Shortly after Dad moved to Lakelands Lodge we were contacted by the manager, who advised a change for Dad, due to what he thought was in Dad's best
interests, after having spent some time with him. We were so pleased to hear this. It established trust with our family that Dad is in a place where people really care. The manager and his team are easy to contact and talk to. Due to Covid-19, we are taking Dad out for walks at most visits but we are very much looking forward to spending time in Lakelands Lodge and I can’t say the same for some of the other homes I have had visited on occasions.

This was my first visit and I was very impressed. The Covid regulations were strictly adhered to. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Beautiful, clean rooms. My husband was well settled and is being very well cared for, he was alert and responsive. He is treated with respect and the dignity
that he deserves. He is eating well too. I wish that he had been moved here years ago.

My dad has been in Lakelands Lodge since it opened. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their care and support, given to my dad. The cleanliness of the home is to a very high standard. Management are also very approachable and supportive. As a family, we are kept informed about any changes with

Due to Covid there is only so much I can comment on - but my husband has only been in Lakelands for 3 weeks, transferred from hospital after a fall. All the staff I've spoken to on the phone or seen face to face have been exceptional at a very emotional time. They have gone out of their way to help
in anyway possible. They are friendly, very kind and deeply caring and my husband has settled in well.
