Having checked many care homes we finally found Castor Lodge. We were warmly welcomed on our visit, shown around the home and discussed all the ins and outs. We were given a homely welcome when my wife came in for respite. We have enjoyed the open and family feeling of the home and continued my wife's
stay.

Just walking through the front door was an experience. One couldn’t fail to be impressed.
Even six-stars would be inadequate. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and the decor is exquisite. It would be a privilege to reside there.

The facilities are superb and mirror those in a five-star hotel. Coupled with these are caring and attentive staff, good food and lovely rooms and grounds. Covid restrictions limit visits and activities, but staff do their best to provide activities for residents. The manager, in particular, took time
to listen to us and help in contacting relatives living abroad. We are very impressed indeed.

I cannot praise the team at Castor Lodge Care Home more highly.
From the moment I first made my enquiry with the customer relations manager regarding my mother coming into Castor Lodge my experience has been wonderful.
Every question was answered, my tour was wonderful and the ongoing support and
comfort from all the staff at a very difficult and emotional transition has been exceptional.
The nursing care which is needed for my mother is also so good.
My mother is settling in well as a result of all the support, kindness, friendly, smiling faces at Castor Lodge.

Myself and Mum had a horrid time at another home. The difference with Castor is unbelievable and can’t thank them enough.
We never wanted this to happen and not be at home but to see my mum smile again and for me not to cry on leaving is priceless.
