Thank you so much for your lovely words. We were truly honoured to care for your mum over those five years, and it means a great deal to know that her final weeks were made special by our team.
Your kindness and support after her passing have meant a lot to us too, and we are so...
Caring with Kindness is the motto and this is so true. Not only to residents but as a visitor I am made to feel just as welcome, and take part in many of the activities with my husband who has dementia, but since coming to Mossdale seems so much happier and calmer. I'm sure this is due to the wonderfull staff and caring environment, a real home from home, Many many thanks.

We would like to warmly thank all the Mossdale staff for their wonderful, professional and humane care of our aunt during the last months of her life. Nothing was too much for all the staff who did their very best to make her comfortable and were friendly and helpful all the time. The staff provided outstanding nursing care as well as support to our aunt, her friends and family. The garden is lovely and beautifully looked after by staff and it provided comfort to our aunt and for discussions about gardens and allotments with the staff. We all looked forward to the snacks as well! Thank you for everything.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. It means a great deal to our whole team to know that your aunt was comfortable and well cared for during her time with us.
We're pleased that both our care and our gardens brought her comfort, and it's wonderful to hear that the little things,...
Our overall experience of Mossdale is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful and very approachable. The bedrooms and decor of Mossdale is very tastful and modern. Its very clean and mum's room looks as though it has been cleaned every day. I have seen my mum engaging, laughing and singing and dancing with staff and other residents. Staff are always happy to tell us how mum is when we visit, which is lovely and following Mossdale on social media alows us to see what she is doing throughout the week.

Moving into a care home is never easy, but everyone at Mossdale Residence made Mum's transition far easier than we expected. Five months on, both Mum and our family have nothing but praise for the home and its exceptional staff. Mossdale is modern, spotless and welcoming, with friendly reception staff. The carers are kind, patient and professional, treating Mum with dignity and genuine compassion. Her spacious en-suite room is comfortable, and she consistently praises the excellent food. The activities team keeps residents engaged with a varied programme, while the on-site salon, chiropodist, weekly GP visits and 24-hour medical support provide added reassurance. Mum is comfortable, happy and even healthier than before. Our sincere thanks go to every member of staff for their dedication and kindness. We wholeheartedly recommend Mossdale Residence to anyone seeking outstanding residential care.
We are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience with us and that your mum's transition was smooth, moving loved ones in a care home is daunting and we are very blessed to know what a difference we have made to yourselves and your mum. Your kind words mean a great deal...
My mother was allocated to Mossdale Care Home for a period of respite care. My mum has dementia and was struggling at home and had a fall. I have been so relieved and reasured that my mum has been getting the best care and has been safe and well cared for at Mossdale. My mum has settled in well and has been entertained with all the various activities. My mum always looks well presented and glamorous when I have visited her. All the staff have been so lovely and heloful and are a credit to the home. Overall, my mum's stay at Mossdale has been excellent in every way. Thank you.
We'd like to extend our appreciation to you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review.
Positive reviews like this provide a real boost to our colleagues who work tirelessly to deliver the kindest possible care to residents. We appreciate your support and will strive to continue to uphold the highest standards for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
It is the nicest home I have ever been in.The staff are all amazing Tuesdays Coffee and Cake morning is a lovely experince where you get to meet lovely people who live there.
We could of not found a better home for her.
Overall very good. Very clean and modern with excellent staff. Sometimes seem a little short staffed on a weekend.
A good "Half-Way House" for dad after 2 visits to hospital took care of his care needs, and helped build his confidence during the respite care. Good all round staff and nice community feel. Good range of activities for residents.
So many lovely activities every week. Everyone is so kind, caring and helpful.
My mum has been living in Mossdale for some time now and I genuinely couldn't ask for a better place for her. The staff are simply wonderful - warm, caring and always go the extra mile to make her feel safe, valued and loved. The atmosphere is cheerful and welcoming and there's a real sense of community. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she's surrounded by such kind hearted people everyday. Truly a home full of heart!
I have found the staff and management, and carers kind, helpful and supportive. The facilities are adequate and cover most people's needs.
Very impressed staff lovely.
! We've spent hundreds of pounds on clothing recently on shoes, slippers and clothing, then labeled it all to find most has gone missing and found several items in my mums wardrobe thst aren't hers. There's also an expensive gold ring gone missing from my mums finger as well, we were also told there were day trips out from Mossdale as well but I've never seen one, seriously contemplating moving mum from here as they only seem interested in profit, not care. Food is also bad, mum's now 6st from 10.
Thank you for taking time to speak with us. We established that we have shared incidents with you at the time and that following injuries we have involved clinicians. At Mossdale Residence we care for people who do not require constant supervision, staffing levels are based on...
The staff are always polite and attentive towards visitors and residents.
I find it's always a pleasant experince when visiting.
All very good.
He was very settled there and well looked after. The staff on his floor enjoyed his wit and cheeky humour. The food was very good with lots of choice and rooms comfortable. The home manager and receptionist were very helpful.
My experience of Mossdale and it's staff was an extremely positive one. The staff were all very warm and welcoming and my sons and I knew, straight away, this was the right place for their dad, and what turned out to be, his end-of-life care needs. His short stay was comfortable, dignified and peaceful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful care home to anyone.
