Little Manor Care Centre was rebuilt on the original site of Little Manor care home and reopened in November 2020. The care centre has state-of-the-art facilities which include an integral health spa complete with physiotherapy area and therapy area, activity and social club spaces, french patio doors from the large lounge out onto the patio garden, full CCTV overt recording system which is electable for bedrooms, education facilities, electric hoists in all rooms, all bedrooms are en-suite and there are 24-hour nurses available. There is accommodation for relatives and community support staff. The facilities are also flexible to help support with convalescence, end of life care, rehabilitation and latter stage dementia, utilising the latest technology.

I have been very well looked after by all the staff. They are a credit to the company. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. The occupational therapist and physio have been giving me more confidence after my surgery and they have worked hard to me with recuperation.

My mother recently spent around 2 months in the care of Little Manor Care Centre and I cannot praise the management and staff highly enough. The facilities 1st class, the food excellent and the happy manor of the staff made it a pleasure for mum in a trying time. Thank you all.

I enjoyed my stay with you following my full in October 2024. I understand that I didn't come to you until a fortnight after my fall on the 18th of October and it is maybe as well and have no recollection of my being in hospital. I must refer to the meals first as they were absolutely brilliant, just
right for me, in particular the lovely puddings which I did enjoy. Staff at all times were very helpful, even finding the correct programmes on the television and putting me to bed at a reasonable hour. Who says that the health sector is crumbling? I believe in the lady on the television when she says "God bless the NHS", well done.

I had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed going out into the garden for some fresh air and to enjoy my cigarette break. I have been smoking since I was twelve years old. so I am not inclined to stop smoking.

My mother had three weeks at Little Manor in rehab after breaking her leg. She was then transferred to a nursing home in Somerset. The staff at all levels were caring, professional and friendly. The room was lovely and it was a big step up from her earlier two weeks in hospital. Thank you to all the

Excellent facility, tidy and clean. Attentive staff, although sometimes difficult to understand. Very good at following medical formalities. Food and drink are timely and good. Disappointed there was no gym and that physiotherapy time was very limited (30 minutes per day).

The friednly, caring, kind staff delivered individually trained support to me following a stay in hospital. The individual room with ensuite bathroom was clean, comfortable and light with the communal areas were welcoming environments aiding recovery.
The therapy team set clear challenging achievable
goals to strengthen my legs enabling me to walk. The rehabilitation offered is person-centred drawing input from the therapist, the resident and family members. The joined-up service approach offered an excellent strategy to aid recovery.

My stay at Little Manor Care Centre could not have been better. I was taken there after a week's stay in hospital. I was very anxious about the move but was soon made to feel at home. The love, care and support helped me so much to get strong and return home. A big thanks to all.

The first week was impressive. It seems at times there are not enough trained nurses on duty. It has taken a while and a few concerns to be made, regarding a new medical issue. I feel that anything that appears as a new problem doesn't hit the radar. The issue was highlighted before the GP scheduled
visit and it wasn't brought to their attention.

My experience with the care staff was very positive. There are some exceptional carers in Little Mannor, who I don't think are recognised for the work that they do. They should receive bonuses for their efforts. They have to put up with a lot of grief from families that is unjust. My biggest issue was
the quality of the food, it was disgusting. I either had to eat ready meals that my husband brought in or takeaways.

My mother appreciated having her own ensuite room after her hectic stay in the hospital. The staff were so kind to her and could not have been more attentive to her needs. It was clear this was a happy place to be as all the staff got on well together. It was lovely to hear them chatting and laughing

All staff are professional, friendly, caring, nothing seems too much trouble and care and treatment was excellent. Were extremely helpful when Dad was due to be discharged, pointing me in the right direction and getting social care professionals involved so he had the right package to go home to. Very
welcome as I didn't have a clue.

I was pleased to be transferred to Little Manor Care Home from the hospital as I had heard only good reports about it. I was very impressed by all aspects of the home. Facilities provided were excellent. I was treated with care and respect, and with speed and efficiency to the highest standard.

Jodie Scott

Job Title: RCM, RMA Operations Director & Registered Care Manager

Joined: 2001

Jodie joined our team in October 2001 as a junior carer. She worked as a welfare coordinator between our homes and the local community, before becoming Deputy Manager at Milford Manor, Manager at Holmwood, and then set up the Community Care Team with the support of Agnes Atras (Head of Care). She later became the company-wide Service Manager until she joined the Board in 2015 as the Operations Director. Today Jodie is the most senior Operations Manager responsible for all day to day operational matters across the company. She is supported in this role by our Service Manager Jo McMahon, Placements & Quality Assurance Manager Janet Hope.
