Royal Windsor is a 5 star warm, welcoming and inviting residence providing all the luxury and comforts of home. You can be sure that the very highest standards of health care is always on hand, often discreetly in the background. Residents can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and take part in all the daily lifestyle activity choices available, to ensure all will get the very most out of every day. At night, residents are able to retire to the warmth and comfort of the beautiful bedroom suites; secure that the trained and experienced care team will have discreetly planned for night care needs to be attended, in the complete privacy of their own room.

Royal Windsor is located in the former grounds of the Magistrate’s Court in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The home is close to local transport links and just half a mile from Grantham High Street with 68 spacious bedrooms all with en suite wet rooms.

Royal Windsor has two floors of accommodation.

Newton Suite
Situated on the ground floor, Newton Suite has been designed for individuals wishing to make a lifestyle choice. Providing a variety of rooms to maintain as much independence for as long as possible, while offering an opportunity for people to live safely and independently enjoying like-minded company, secure in the knowledge that there is 24 hour care and support on hand if needed.

Belvoir Suite
This floor has well equipped facilities to accommodate all residents as well as people with high levels of health and personal care needs. The memory impairment facility provides accommodation that has been tastefully and sympathetically designed to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for people who may have varying degrees of memory impairment.

Great home but too expensive. The home is excellent and the staff are first class. Activities are below par and the charges are ridiculous. The food and rooms are superb. The outside is not looked after very well but the inside is good.

I have found the staff at the care home very friendly and helpful. Their care and consideration of my partner's mother has reassured me that she is in very good hands. As we live in New Zealand it is very important to us that we don't have to worry about her.

We have had an excellent experience in the home with regards to my brother. There have been a few little emergencies with his health and we are extremely pleased with how everything was dealt with. He is well settled and relaxed in Royal Windsor which means I can relax knowing all is well and taken

Mum has been at the care home since it opened in December 2021. As I live in New Zealand this was the first time I have visited her in her new home. It is the happiest I have seen mum in a long time. This is my mum's second period of respite at Royal Windsor. Like the first time the staff are very welcoming and supportive, nothing is too much trouble for them. It was not an easy decision for mum to go into a care home but the staff have helped us to make it considerably easier. Thank you.

My Dad had a fall and hospital stay for about a month, he needs complete care, which we couldn’t provide satisfactorily at home. Since he moved into Royal Windsor in March, he’s much happier. Having Physio, as he wants to be able to walk again. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. He can do
things when he wants to, being on his computer, joining societies via videocall. Looking forward to his Birthday Party on Saturday. We have been able to furnish his room with everything he wants around him and for his comfort. Nothing was too much trouble when moving everything in.
My Mum has Dementia that had progressed very rapidly over the past year. My Dad who was her carer became unable to care for her anymore. We had Carers at home, but Mum wasn’t happy. They have both moved into Royal Windsor. The Carers are very good at helping Mum to keep her independence. We were able to furnish the room with Mum’s things so that she can keep her memories. We were able to replace the chair with hers that is electric and helps her get up if she needs it. As the Care home has only been open for a few months, it is slowly filling up and all the staff are very friendly, including all the new ones who are joining the team.

My mother has always declared she would never go into a care home following a bad experience with my father’s care some years ago. Unfortunately she has recently been falling on a regular basis and asked me to arrange some respite care for her. After being shown round Royal Windsor I quickly decided
this was the very place for her to have a “holiday”. The very fact that it has the appearance of a high class hotel rather than a care home was a deciding factor. The decor is outstanding and the staff are just wonderful. Everyone is friendly but professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Royal Windsor to anyone.

Mum never wanted to go in to a home as they always had such a bad reputation, however this is not the case with Royal Windsor. Whilst I was on holiday the staff cared for mum and met exceeded all her needs. I know my mum can be quite challenging at the best of times.
The staff were friendly and helpful
from the onset and this continued throughout mum's stay. Mum is looking forward to me going on holiday again so she can go on her break.

My 89 year old father had a fall last autumn, which necessitated a hospital stay and rehabilitation. When he had a further fall in February, we chose Royal Windsor, Grantham, for him to have intensive physio and rehabilitation. My father - who can be quite difficult to please, initially thought he would
like to stay at Royal Windsor forever, so good was the care. As that would mean being without my mother (for whom a residential setting would be totally inappropriate at the current time), he realised his stay was short term. The standard of care was excellent and the success of rehabilitation was considerable. My father was virtually immobile and very anxious over falling when he went into Royal Windsor. He now walks with his frame quite confidently and is much stronger and more positive. He also looks very much better in himself.

We are very pleased with the quality and professional behaviour of the staff as they are genuinely caring.
The facilities are fresh, well kept and state of the art. We were particularly impressed with the extra effort made by the staff to accommodate our mother's husband when he arrived after hours,
their evening meals were held for them, and the staff stayed on to insure he was settled in.

The Royal Windsor looks like a 5 star hotel and delivered and exception service to my friend whilst on respite care. I noted that nothing was too much trouble and the carers were very personal yet professional in there approach. My friend can't wait to stay again and if they could afford it stay permanent.

My mother arrived from hospital in a very poorly state. After three weeks of very attentive and kind care she has made a remarkable recovery. Well enough to celebrate her 100th birthday on the 19th April. The chef and staff went the extra mile to create a wonderful tea party and arranged special visitors.

Royal Windsor has provided excellent service and kindness to my mother since her arrival following a hip operation five weeks ago. Today 19th April the Royal Windsor has provided a wonderful 100th Birthday celebration for mother including catering, cake and special greetings.
