My mother in law is treated with respect and maintains her dignity. She is encouraged to socialise and has numerous daily activities offered to her. The main thing is she always says how happy she is in Elstow Manor which is very important to her family.
We are so happy you chose Elstow Manor for your Mother in Law . She is a ray of sunshine and always smiling . It makes it our pleasure to care for her here at Elstow Manor . You are always welcome to visit .
My Father was discharged from hospital to Elstow Manor Care Home 4 weeks ago. The Relations Manager was efficient, which make the move into the home seamless. She was also very sympathetic as my Dad wife had just passed away. In that time Dad has been in Elstow Manor, the care he has received has been superb. He is now eating more, and very slowly gaining strength. The staff are always willing to help and are approachable when Dad needs something - for example drinks or food. The environment of the home is lovely and has a very calm feel to it.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review at a difficult time for your dad and family . We are grateful that you can see how much the whole team work together to make the experience enjoyable and caring . The outstanding care and dedication of our team is something we strive hard to achieve and we wish all the people who live here to keep happy and contented .. Thank you again
Keep up the good work!
Thank you for taking your time to leave your experience of Elstow Manor with us .We appreciate that you praise how well we are doing with the care of your lovely dad . This will be shared with the whole team with our thanks .
My mother was discharged from hospital at short notice but was unable to return home immediately. We needed some residential respite urgently. Val and the Team at Elstow were amazing, within 24 hours they had visited and assessed mum in hospital and arranged for her transfer to the home. Quite an amazing task for which we will forever be grateful. The Home is quite stunning with all the staff doing everything possible to make the stay as comfortable as is possible. At all times I felt my mum was safe and very well looked after.
We are so blessed to have been able to care for your lovely mum once she was discharged from hospital . It was our pleasure to be in the right place at a time that you needed us . We wish Mum all the best in her new home .
My mother, who has dementia, was admitted for 6 weeks respite care after being discharged from hospital following a fall. From the start, the Customer Relations Manager was amazing ensuring her move was quick and easy and kept me informed throughout.
The whole team at Elstow are incredibly welcoming and really seem to care. They looked after my mother with gentleness and affection. Throughout her stay I felt that she was safe and comfortable and she did too.
Thank you for your heartfelt review about the complete process and care we gave to your lovely Mum . We always aim high to give the best to our lovely residents and families . Come back and see us again soon.
I was well looked after. The staff were all friendly and caring. Food was good.
We thank you for your kind review of the home and do hope you are well after your respite stay here . You are welcome to come and visit us any time.
I was impressed on my visit that the home had displayed notices on the doors that for the day it was a nut free zone. I was having lunch there and my son has a peanut allergy. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean and tidy, and my family seemed well cared for.
Thank you for letting us know you enjoyed your visit to your family members and for recognising that we go above and beyond to customer requests and as in your case your nut allergy . We look forward to seeing you again soon .
The staff were friendly and caring, taking the time to place her (for meal times) with like minded ladies.
Ia m sure she will be back.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review for us and we are now so honoured that Mum has chosen to move back to us . We thrive to maintain our outstanding care here at Elstow Manor and we look forward to welcoming all Mums friends if they would like to visit .
Excellent to have the coffee/drink area lots of spaces to sit, easy to get to and get around. Lovely social area to with with visitors.
My mum always looked well cared for and commented how well she was looked after and how much she enjoyed her meals especially sitting with other residents. The towels and food on arrival was a really personal touch.
Thank you for your lovely review and are so pleased that your mum had such an enjoyable stay with us . We welcome mum to come back anytime you need her to stay .
My Late Father-in-Law was one of the first residents at Elstow Manor and when my Sister-in-Law became unable to care for herself Elstow Manor was the natural choice knowing what incredible care Dad received.
Sadly my Mother-in-Law also recently became in need of a care Home so Elstow Manor was again the only choice.
The staff take the time to get to know not just the residents but the families too, getting to know the little things about residents that matter the most to make them feel valued for who they are.
So many other homes would benefit greatly by visiting Elstow Manor and learning just how to maintain the dignity and persona of residents. Nothing is either a problem or too much trouble.
My heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Elstow Manor.
Thank you for such a detailed review and praise of the care , dignity and understanding of not one but three members of your family . It is a privilege to understand each and everyone's individual needs and your support is also a valued benefit in the care of your family members . You are always welcome in our home and the staff all appreciate your kind words .
What a fabulous first week in residential care for my friend! From sadness and an inability to cope with her surroundings, she is now happy, smiling, laughing and relaxing in safe, beautiful surroundings supported by caring and committed staff. It is heartwarming to observe the confidence that the residents have to join in the many and varied events. Congratulations to the staff for providing such a welcoming environment where residents and visitors are treated with kindness, respect and dignity. Thank you.
We are so grateful that you see how wonderful and caring our home is and that you, as a friend , felt you could come and spend as long as you wanted visiting .. We pride ourselves on treating everyone whether resident or visitor in the highest standards possible . Thank you again
Lovely and welcoming residential facility. Good to know our loved one is safe and well cared for.

During early spring I have experienced extreme breathlessness and vertigo. During that time I have received the highest quality care and supervision. The fact that I am now recovering well is due almost entirely to the staff.
We thank you for your comments at a first hand experience regarding care and dignity received here . The team are grateful to read such kind comments and we are glad you chose to move into Elstow Manor . We also enjoy spending time with you and thank you for being you!
A modern well managed care home where you can leave your loved one reassured they will be safe and well cared for. All staff are pleasant, friendly and conscientious.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following the respite stay here . Your comments are much appreciated . We look forward to seeing you on another occasion when you are needing respite again.
My father only ,oved in, mid April and we find the home on a different level to his previous home. All the staff interact with him and are all friendly, the entertainment is daily and trips arranged. My father enjoys the food. His bedroom is lovely and along with the ensuite kept very clean. The home and grounds and excellent.
Thank you very much for your review which show that you are fully appreciative of the care and support we give to Dad and yourselves .. He is a lovely man who likes to be involved in all our activities . Looking forward to seeing you again soon .
Dad has been at Elstow Manor since December 2022. He has advanced dementia but has remained cheery and hasn't lost his sense of humour. All the staff have always been lovely with him. There have been occasions when we have had to sort various things out with them, but they have always been respectful, and I have to say more recently everything has improved enormously at Elstow Manor. Dad recently moved up to the newly formed Dementia Unit and we has family are really impressed with it. More activities more time spent with the resident great communication with us re dads care. Everyone is doing wonderful job. Dad enjoys himself immensely.
Thank you for such a lovely, kind review. We share these comments with the team and are really grateful that you recognise all their hard work. The benefits of the new dementia community are proving to be so positive. Your dad is a great character, and we all adore him.
We made the right choice in selecting Elstow Manor for her last few years, and I will always be thankful for the love, care, comfort and attention she received from everyone there.
Thank you for leaving such a heart warming review about Mums time spent living here . We all miss her and feel privileged that you chose Elstow Manor when deciding on a care home . We have many lovely memories that were made here and glad she was happy. All the best to your family .
Every effort is made by all the team to make the stay as pleasant, friendly and welcoming as possible. The facilities and activities are well-planned and excellent. The home is spotlessly clean throughout, and the choice of food and quality is first class. So pleasing to see residents comfortable and content.
Thank you for your compliments on all aspects of the home. We are proud to receive such positivity, and this will be passed on to all the team with our thanks.
Always a welcoming visit when I visit my uncle. Reception is a joy, lovely team who are so friendly. My uncle speaks highly of the team of carers and we have found everything dealt with properly and efficiently in a caring way when necessary. Facilities are excellent throughout from the cinema to the restaurant.
Thank you for leaving such a kind review. We value all feedback from our relatives and appreciate your kind words. We will pass this on to the team. Thanks.
