A lovely, friendly place with excellent care. Since my mother has been in the care home she has been beautifully looked after and has made new friends. My sister and I can now feel at ease that my mother is in a nice place.

Edenbridge Manor is an extremely good care home and I would have no hesitation recommending it to other potential residents. The overall ethos is commendable and the staff are kind and professional. The overall management is very good. The staff go the extra mile to create a real 'home from home' feel
and the well-being support is wonderful.

My mother has been at Edenbridge Manor on the memory floor for several weeks now, and she seems to have settled in well. Her en suite room is very comfortable, well-decorated, and has a view over the gardens. She seems happier than she was at home with two live-in carers (day/night). The staff are always
friendly and helpful and have got to know her as an individual, with personalised care that reflects her interests and needs. The home suggested, and arranged for, changing her bed to a profiling bed so that her legs can be raised at night, to reduce the discomfort from swelling. One of the carers downloaded a piano app onto an iPad, as they had noticed her interest in the piano (but reluctance to try it with other people present), and Mum played a tune on it - she hasn't played the piano in at least the last forty years. I have no hesitation in recommending Edenbridge Manor to other families.

I am commenting on all of my mum's time at Edenbridge Manor since May 2021. She was very frail following a long illness and was no longer managing at all with eating and drinking and with very little interest in doing anything. She also a suffered serious illness shortly after she moved in and with
their care she is as good as she is today. She's right back to our mum again. She can eat and drink all day and has activities to get involved in when she wants to and the company of residents, staff, and visitors. She's much stronger and able to live her best life again. This couldn't have happened if she'd stayed at home. I know Mum appreciates all the staff and feels very much part of the community there. She is very capable and goes out when she wants to - she feels she has her independence along with the luxury of knowing everything is taken care of. Edenbridge Manor for my mum is a five star hotel and we are very lucky that she chose to be there.

My father has been resident at Edenbridge Manor Care Home since late 2021. He is on the memory floor. The home itself is very comfortable, and being recently finished, the standard of decor and facilities are impressive. In terms of its physical look and feel, it's more like an up-market hotel than
some of the more typical care home slightly age-worn environments. But more than its look, the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. My father is happy and content and seems to be very well cared for. The food looks of a high quality and the grounds are well cared for and perfect for strolling, reading, chatting, or just enjoying the outdoors. Come the warmer weather I expect my father to spend much of his time in the gardens. The staff have been very helpful whenever I've needed to contact them, going over and above when we have needed help and advice.

Both of my parents are now in respite care in Edenbridge Manor. I have found the staff very friendly and helpful. The Home is very clean. There also seems a lot going on for my parents to get involved in. The rooms are first class with all having ensuite which is good. All medication is given at the
appropriate times and a Doctor is on call if required.

My parents moved into the home in Sept 2021. They are in their nineties and living independently was becoming increasingly difficult. Mum and Dad were extremely resistant to the idea of a care home and finding one that would be acceptable to them was never going to be easy. However, from the moment
I arrived to look round I knew I’d found a place that could work for them. They soon settled in. We have peace of mind knowing they are being well cared for in a happy and luxurious environment. The staff show great sensitivity in recognising that it is a challenging time for them as they get older and need more help with day-to-day care. I have always found the staff approachable and quick to deal with any concerns that I might have. Mum is always laughing now and I think despite the trials and tribulations of covid, their quality of life has much improved since they arrived at Edenbridge Manor.

I was extremely well looked after. Everyone was very polite, kind, and helpful. There were plenty of activities organised but unfortunately because of covid restrictions we could not take part.

The care my mother received at Edenbridge Manor was exemplary. The staff are caring, kind and professional. My mother adored them and could not praise them enough. The building and facilities were like a 5-star hotel. She was very poorly going in, but after a few weeks, she came out so much fitter,
healthier and happier and has resumed her independent life. She and the family cannot praise and recommend Edenbridge Manor enough.

My father stayed for two weeks respite care. Dad was cared for to a very high standard, and Dad's carers were lovely and very thoughtful. The standard of room and food was excellent. The management team were very helpful and responded quickly to any queries I had.

Grandma moved to Edenbridge Manor at the end of April. She has quite complex needs due to a stroke making her difficult to understand. The staff have been wonderful and have made her feel at home from the moment she arrived, and we have seen a marked improvement in her mobility, attitude, quality of
life, and most importantly, her happiness.
Edenbridge Manor is an extremely friendly home where Grandma has made new friends with residents and staff. They have done their very best to accommodate visits from the family and have kept us informed of everything from my Grandma’s health to her frequent sing-along sessions.

My career in care began in 2010 with the NHS, where I started as a ward hostess. That initial role sparked a deep passion for care, which has since shaped a rewarding and fulfilling journey. From ward hostess to healthcare assistant, and eventually qualifying as a nurse, I’ve continued to grow—progressing into roles such as charge nurse, clinical lead, acting area manager, and ultimately home manager.


Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed a broad skill set and extensive leadership experience across both paediatric and adult care, within the NHS and private sector, as well as international work and volunteering.


As a General Manager, I take great pride in spending time with our residents and supporting them to live independent, meaningful lives. Working within the team that is committed to delivering truly person-centred care, tailored to each individual’s needs.

I Joined Avery when we opened in 2021 as a Senior Carer for night shifts. I switched to days when I became a Team Leader six months later. I have recently been promoted to Unit Manager.

With over 6 years of experience in the care sector, I began my journey as a care and support worker in domiciliary care, working in the community, and have since progressed through roles including supervisor, senior care assistant, and complex care coordinator.


In 2024, I transitioned into the wellbeing department within the previous organisation I worked for, bringing a strong foundation in hands-on care and understanding of person-centred care.


I joined Avery in June 2025 as a Well-being Coordinator, where I aim to continue making a meaningful impact in people’s lives, especially our residents. ‘
