Hepworth House offers a friendly safe environment. The staff are very efficient giving a high level of care being both compassionate and understanding from carers through to management for the residents and family alike. From our experience, any concerns are dealt with promptly and followed up on a
regular basis. Visits are welcomed at any time which is reassuring for all concerned. The level of activities is excellent offering a varied mix for all.

I spent three comfortable weeks of respite care at Hepworth House. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of choice of activities and I felt my independence was still intact.

My sister is currently staying at Hepworth House for short-term respite. On entering the home it was spacious and clean. There was a lovely friendly welcome on entry. First impressions were positive. We were advised where to go after signing in. The premises were beautifully presented and clean and
the room easy to find. We didn't have chance to look round but did see the library and dining room which both looked beautiful. The room my sister was staying was lovely and had everything needed however it was slightly on the small side and as it was a warm day was a little on the warm side. The windows only opened a small way, obviously for security purposes. Overall the experience was a positive one.

Well maintained, clean, attractive outside entrance with useful informative information. Always welcomed warmly by whoever opens the door. Calm but friendly welcoming environment. Good safety protocols are apparent. All staff have been approachable, responsive and helpful with any query. Staff often
recall my name, making things lovely and personal. A clear person-centred approach to care with my mum and the other residents was observed. Organisation and food/meal times are well structured but flexible for choices of what and where - encouragement for individuals' autonomy is very clear with a good balance of safety and inclusion without any pressure. I cannot tell you how important all these things are to me at this time. The team of staff should be very proud, well done. Thank you.

An extremely friendly and caring atmosphere. I have absolutely no worries or concerns for my mum's care and wellbeing. Nothing is too much trouble and all staff at all levels, from the top down, display a can-do and caring attitude.

Mum has only been here two weeks but is settling in really well. She is being looked after extremely well by all the staff who are very caring, helpful and friendly. She is enjoying all the meals and was pleased to have her hair cut and set in the hair salon which made her feel good.

I have been in Hepworth House for two weeks respite stay after having an operation. Every member of staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good, an excellent choice every day. Staff bought refreshments round. I had lots of visitors they were made welcome with the same
drinks as I. I felt I had plenty of support, I was very comfortable and I didn't want for anything. I will definitely recommend Hepworth House to anyone who asks. One of my visitors is taking a lady who is in an EMI unit to look round Hepworth House.

Everything about this care home has been first-class! The care and the facilities are brilliant. On occasions, it would be better if there was a few more staff about, certainly during the evening.

Manager was fantastic with Mum, put her at ease and was professional and made us all feel reassured that she would be given the best of care.

Having been shown around the home, it was completely different to what I expected in a care home. It reminded me of a 5-star hotel ie. everything you need.

My uncle has been a resident at Hepworth House for five weeks and he loves it there, hardly surprising when he is surrounded by such caring, friendly staff who from data one made him feel so welcome and part of the Hepworth House family. I have been delighted by the support and the warmth shown not
only to him but to his family and friends who are welcome to visit at any time. From my initial telephone enquiry to all my dealings with management I have been hugely impressed by the utmost professionalism they have shown. Nothing is too much trouble and questions are met with patience and understanding. The cleanliness of the home, the many facilities it offers and the superbly equipped rooms are second to none. My first impression of Hepworth House was one of excellence and that has been enhanced on every subsequent visit. A big thank you to all the staff 'angels' that you are.

My mum came to Hepworth House for respite care initially but like it so much she decided to stay. Her favourite phrase whilst she has been here is that she can't fault it, night or day. The food is excellent and so are the staff. I feel very confident that Mum is very well cared for and she is much
happier here and is enjoying the company here.

I have been a district nurse for nearly 40 years and have visited many care homes over these years. I have never been in such a well-run and caring home. Everyone is friendly, compassionate and professional. The home is welcoming, nothing is too much trouble and it always smells nice. My mum always
looks nice and well kept. She is happy here which speaks volumes as she dreaded needing to live in a care home. Excellent place.
