Flowers is a bright, modern environment, staff are caring, kind and seem to enjoy working there. The move for 2 2-week respite for my father was a smooth transition, and the staff couldn't have done more to support him and us. Dad decided that he wanted to return home, but if needed, we would consider Flowers again for respite or long-term care.

My father in law was a resident for 3 years until his death in December 2024. He was a tricky person. The care he received at Flowers Manor was exceptional and the staff handled his trickiness very well. I rejoiced that he spent the last three years of his life in such an amazing care home.

My husband has just returned home following a two-week respite stay at Flowers Manor, what a lovely experience. I had been extremely apprehensive about leaving my husband since he had suffered a stroke followed by vascular dementia nearly three years ago. After doing a lot of research and sourcing many care homes, Flowers Manor stood out as being perfect, how right we were, the care, compassion and friendliness we were given were amazing, plus the home and amenities reminded me of a 5-star cruise ship! Thank you, the manager and all your great team. Hopefully, you'll have us back.

My mother came into the home in May 2024 she needed respite care and felt so comfortable and secure she decided to stay permanently. The quality of the care and compassion from all the staff is exemplary. I would highly recommend it.

I visit Flowers Manor with my therapy dog, a Labrador called Crumble. We volunteer for a therapy dog charity and both Crumble and I had to be assessed by the charity before we could start visiting. The residents love seeing her and stroking and talking to her. She is a very gentle loving dog, I have found the care home to be very friendly and very homely. The staff are extremely helpful and the residents I have met are lovely to talk to. The home is beautifully decorated and has a very comfortable feel.

Thank you for your lovely comments and we are delighted to have you and Crumble visit us at Flowers Manor. Crumble is fantastic with the residents and brings so much happiness to all. Thank you for choosing Flowers Manor and we look forward to making many special memories together. Best wishes Esther and The Flowers Team.

We were concerned that my mother would find it very difficult to adapt to leaving her home (where she had no care) and moving into a care home. Flowers Manor Care Home made her very welcome and the care she has received has been outstanding. The facilities are beautiful, very well maintained and are spotlessly clean. What really makes the care home outstanding are the wonderful staff who have made my mother so welcome.

My 92-year-old friend is a resident at Flowers Manor. Though it was hard for her to leave her home, she has settled in really well. She is well cared for and has company. There are lots of things going on every day, so no time for the residents to get bored. She couldn't be in a better place. Thank you to all the lovely staff for all you do.

We reviewed several other care homes locally but this was the stand-out facility. My mother has been a resident for over six months and the excellent support she has been given proves we chose the right place.

Flowers Manor was my first choice of care home due to its locality, cleanliness, friendliness and caring attitude. Visitors are always made welcome and there are many activities of a varied nature to keep residents occupied. The home is always clean and warm and the food is healthy and varied. My husband moved into Flowers Manor Care Home over 13 months ago. Yes, it was time and my heart was broken. The Flowers united team have given me back the man I married. Nothing is ever too much trouble whether it is for my husband or myself. The team listen and take action if possible immediately, not in weeks. The food is 5 star and provides at times what I would not cook at home for one very happy resident. The activities provide a variety of choices within the home, local community and celebrating special events. The residents mix well and always appear happy and smiling. One very friendly, caring, clean environment. Highly recommend.

After visiting many care homes for my mother, I am delighted that we chose Flowers Manor Care Home for her and so is she. At a very stressful time, you need the right support team as well as the right environment that is comfortable. One year on, the feeling is still the same with my mother, feeling settled and at home. The food has been excellent and the home has also coped very well with the challenges that Covid imposed. Activities and companionship are also positives the Flowers Manor provides. I would happily recommend a visit for anyone reviewing options.

Flowers Manor Care Home is like a five-star hotel. From the furnishings in the communal areas to the residents' bedrooms. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and you are always met with a warm welcome. We have been visiting for over two years and feel part of the "Flowers Manor" family. We visit every week and have coffee and cake with my father-in-law or book to have an evening meal with him. The evening meal is normally set out for us in the garden room which is lovely. The table is always laid with crisp white tablecloths and all the trimmings and the food and drinks are great. It does feel like a restaurant experience. There are many lovely areas for the residents to spend time within the home, such as a cinema room where they have daily films, a sky bar which is fully decked and a great view over Chippenham, as this is on the third floor. The manager is very welcoming and a great asset to the home as is her deputy, they are always on hand to help.

Review from John H (Cousin of Resident) published on 20 July 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Having visited Flowers Manor Care Home for the first time, my wife and I were amazed at how wonderful it is. From easy parking and a very friendly and efficient greeting to a beautifully set table in the conservatory for lunch with my cousin, it was a truly great experience. The food and drink were great and it felt like we were in a very plush restaurant. My cousin’s room was beautifully laid out and we were really impressed by her weekly, bespoke gazette of family photographs and news. Although my cousin has moderate dementia, she is so well cared for. She had been well prepared for our visit. The atmosphere in Flowers Manor is truly home-like and there were none of the usual olfactory accompaniments of care homes.

I was an NHS GP for nearly forty years and my wife was a nurse and midwife. We have both been in many care homes both professionally and personally and, without a doubt, Flowers Manor is the best by far. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to others.

We were greeted with open arms and warm smiles. We were served lunch in the beautiful garden room which was delicious and the food was served hot and promptly. Carers were very attentive and helped us find our way around the home. We were shown the spacious sitting rooms and cinema room where residents were enjoying themselves. All in all a visit to remember and we are very happy our friend is here being well looked after. She is very content here. I would move in tomorrow. The manager is excellent and so professional and has a lovely sense of humour).
