I cannot speak highly enough of the Flowers Manor Care Home. The standard of care, the cleanliness, the attention to fine detail, the amenities, the focus on health, well-being and good old fun, the sensitivity, understanding and compassion are without compare. Flowers Manor is the standard to which every care home should aspire. And, like everything in life, it all comes down to the people. From the management to every individual member of staff, it is impossible to mistake the dedication they have to their job and the care and love they have for those in their charge. I cannot imagine how my loved one could have better, more genuine and considerate care.

This was my first experience of a respite holiday in a care home. It exceeded all of my expectations. It was a friendly, caring, relaxed atmosphere. The management and staff were incredible in all aspects. The facilities were spotless and the food was second to none.

My husband stayed for 2 weeks respite at Flowers Manor. Everything went very well. All the staff are wonderful, helpful and professional. He seemed very happy there and I would love him to go there again in the future. I only have positive things to say about the home.

The home is newly built, warm, clean and well run. We've found the staff very understanding, tolerant and always friendly. The manager is excellent and the home is building momentum and warmth as it begins to fill up. I'm glad our relative is so well cared for, and feel very reassured by the care.

The care my mother has received since morning at Flowers Manor has been wonderful. All the staff have been wonderful. All the staff have been very professional, friendly and kind, both with her and the daily. It is lovely that they post activities on Facebook so that family members who live abroad can see what grandma is up to.

My nan moved in back in October 21 from another care home, nan was made to feel so welcome as were we as a family. Nan loved living at Flowers Manor Care Home and was so happy, the staff are all amazing, nan loved all the activities it was lovely to see updates on the Facebook group of things the residents were getting up to. When nan became end of life the home were amazing with her and us as a family making sure we could spend her final days with her as much as possible and allowing me to stay the night, I will always be grateful for everything they did for her. The home is beautiful with everything you could want and wish for, it really is a 5-star home with 5-star care. They treated nan like family, what more can you ask for! The food was 5-star as well, having eaten with nan, I would always recommend Flowers Manor to anyone that needed residential care or dementia care.

Firstly, it has been a pleasure having Nan here with us and she is sorely missed by the Flowers Manor family. We were delighted to have nan stay with us, and also to have been able to support you and your family as Nan approached the end of her life. You and your family are always welcome here and...

Flowers Manor Care Home had very good reviews when we were looking to find a home, those reviews were spot on. Mum was very confused, after being in and out of hospitals and Covid restrictions. The staff were very patient and caring and now she is settled and is very happy and accepts where she is. The staff are very good, smiling carers who are ready to talk and discuss mum. At the desk, Covid precautions are carried out professionally and you are greeted with a great smile. The manager Is very open, helpful and approachable. We are so very glad that mum was accepted.

Overall Experience

My Mother was the third resident in the Flowers Manor Care Home last September and settled in far better than we were expecting due to the wonderful caring staff at the home. It really is a lovely place with lots of activities and social events for the residents to keep them occupied. It doesn't feel like an old people's home at all and with my mother's early dementia it has offered us peace of mind that she is in such a lovely place and is so well looked after. The manager of the home could not be more helpful and always available to discuss my mother's needs. I really feel the staff take huge pride in the fantastic job they do and am delighted we found the home last year.

Overall Experience

My sister and I are very pleased that mum has settled in so well at Flowers Manor Care Home. It was a move prompted by a series of falls and then a stay in hospital.

It wasn’t easy looking at care homes for the respite care mum needed during Covid, but the manager and staff at Flowers Manor have enabled us to see everything and pick the room of our choice for mum.

Respite has turned into residency because mum is so happy at Flowers Manor and that makes us happy too. I feel that we are building very positive relations with the staff alongside mum. If you take on a resident you also take on their family!

The staff ensure that healthcare and liaison with doctors and community nurses are paramount, no little things are ignored or belittled.

Mums appetite has returned and she looks forward to her meals which are very good and well tailored to the elderly. Her likes and dislikes are well catered for.

The rooms are well appointed and we look forward to seeing the newly planted garden develop.

Flowers Manor is undoubtedly the finest care home that we have had the privilege to use for respite care. The management, staff and carers are all extremely professional, friendly and kind. Residents have delightful accommodation, and communal rooms are very user-friendly. Food is well-prepared and presented. All in all, a lovely home from home.

My Mother moved into Flowers Manor a couple of months ago and I am delighted with her care. From day one, the management and staff have been excellent and given my mother the best care. She has improved mentally and physically in just two months of residency and is in fact better than she has been in a long time and all due to the fantastic care and attention she has received. She is very happy at Flowers and calls it her new home which is wonderful. I must also thank them all for their support to me and the family at a difficult time for us all. They took a lot of the stress away and continue to do so every day while caring for my mother. The home is a new build with the best facilities and so different from any of the other care homes I checked before choosing Flowers. It was the best decision I have made choosing Flowers and I know that mum is getting the best care and happy.
